Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Tuesday, 5 Feb I've also read and heard from doctors that Tuna has a higher mercury level than other fish which can be dangerous to unborn and breastfed babies. Moderation to once a week was the recommendation. noahsmom -
Tuesday, 5 Feb i read you are supposed to only eat fish 2 times a week, but i dont. i love fish and being part asian, our culture thinks its crazy not to eat it often. fish is great for you and as long as its the right kind of fish i dont see anything wrong. look up the types to stay away from, mostly older fish. 4thbaby -
Tuesday, 5 Feb I would only eat it once a week in reasonable portions. Just to be safe. brankauf -
Tuesday, 5 Feb It all depends on the type of tuna you are eating as to how much. This such a huge problem for me too. I seem to have a very limited diet as far as this baby lets me eat but it sure seems to LOVE tuna. Of course one of the things we are to limit. Anyway they say that you can eat up to 12 ounces a week of canned light tuna and other low-mercury fish, such as salmon, shrimp, catfish, pollock, and fish sticks. This is the type of tuna that most stores and resturants use. only eat up to 6 ounces of fresh or canned albacore (white) tuna in a week. They have more mercury than light tuna.
Hope this helps! kaibear -
Tuesday, 5 Feb i think you're supposed to LIMIT the amount of tuna you eat, due to high levels of mercury in the fish. you can have a little bit here and there, but be careful that you don't have too much! bdubb -
