Our journey to this point has been a very long one. My husband and I have been married for over eight years and during that time have tried IVF four times. We live in the US, but had to go overseas to be able to afford it without going into massive debt, as America makes it too difficult for people with fertility problems to get the help they need, unlike the rest of the world. We did get pregnant on the previous cycle, but suffered a miscarriage, which was very difficult after trying for so long. This time everything looks good. I still find it hard to believe at times - it feels surreal. I think it will feel more real once I start to grow a belly and feel the baby move :) When you have been trying for so long, you can't wait for it all.
