U/S went great! The cervix looks to be 'normal' length and the placenta is in the right place. She smiled and waved to us!!!! I'm in love!

We went and bought the crib on Sunday! After you told me yours was on sale, I looked at ours, and it was on sale too! They are actually discontinuing that style, so that's why it's on sale. Anyway, no where to put it, but still super duper excited about it! Did you buy your stuff?

Oh, forgot to tell you this, you'll think it's funny. Brian mentioned tonight that he may go to a Phillies game after class on Wednesday (knowing I'm traveling all week). It was kind of a 'I would like to go, is that ok?' type of conversation. I said yeah, go ahead and go, I don't mind. Then I started crying saying, 'why don't you ever take me anywhere? Is it because I'm fat and you don't want to be seen with me?' He seriously looked at me like I was an alien from another planet!!! A few seconds later I started laughing, because I knew I was being extremely silly, but in the moment, that's what I needed to say. Anyway, thought that would bring a smile to your face.

I don't remember people telling me how crazy you get when your pregnant!!

Are you starting to see any stretchmarks yet?? I'm not sure - but I think I'm seeing the start of them. Makes me nervous - I've seen some pics of REALLY, REALLY bad ones!

Oh - and is the Linea Nigra - is it just hair or is it actually your skin that changes color? I know, I'm probably dumb for asking.

I also have VERY dry lips... I have to apply Chap-Stick like every 15-20 minutes... My lips also peel alot and bleed when the skin falls off... Sorry I can't be of more help.

OMG! Are you growing a GIANT in there???
Our last u/s she was 1 lb 5 oz! Oliver's big for his age! Awhhh...
Well, I'll be praying for you that your placenta gets its act together and starts cooperating! Everything will turn out fine.
Our next u/s (next Friday), they are also going to do one of the internal ones....I'm not exactly sure why though. And when she told us (at our last appt), I wasn't really in the frame of mind to ask - because we had just found out the sex, etc. Kinda makes me nervous like something may be concerning to them, but they didn't tell us.?? Brian says no way, that it's just because of the spotting that I had -- but that's been a long time ago...so I don't know. I'm trying not to worry about it.
At least you get to see him more! That's exciting!!!

Yikes! Sorry honey about your lips....fortunately I haven't had that problem, but it sounds really painful. I would just suggest to be drinking as much water as possible...like when you don't think you can drink anymore, drink a little more. Is your skin really dry too, or just your lips? You might want to put a post on the forum asking if anyone else has had that problem and what they did for it....bet you're not the only one.

OK - I'm felling REALLY FAT!!!! I'm scared to get on the scale, but I'm sure I've gained 15 lbs in the past few days!!! I've GOT to cut out the ice-cream.....
