I am 31 weeks pregnant. Expecting a little boy on July 7th, 2008. I am so excited and scared. I can't wait until he gets here. This pregnancy so far has been normal. Haven't had anything bad going on just the normal pregnancy things.

Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Wednesday, 25 June Hey, there's NO shame in that! And btw, don't be hard on yourself, yes you can handle the pain, you're gonna be having a baby, girl, just b/c you get an epidural doesn't mean you won't feel a thing--it's still not easy, or pain-free! That's why God made women to carry and have the babies, He knew we were strong enough to bear it! lol :) Good luck! soon2Bmommyof3Amy -
Wednesday, 25 June You're welcome! :) I would be scared too after reading some of the things people were telling you--and honestly, it sounded kinda like some of it was coming from what people had heard or read, not what they experienced, so I felt compelled to share! :) It's no worse than actual labor, and the good thing about it is, if you were to go into actual labor, you're at that point, already contracting more than likely, so you'll probably have to wait on the epidural til you're dialated so much. But when I went in to be induced, they offered me the epidural right away since they had to give me pitocin to induce contractions, and usually they are a bit stronger, but at least I didn't have to suffer through them, I got relief before they even started. So that was one very good thing about it! lol Especially if you're going for the epidural--which I HIGHLY recommend! LOL soon2Bmommyof3Amy -
Wednesday, 25 June I was reading your comment about being induced, they will and can induce you around 36-38 weeks if they think your baby is fairly big/ready and you are asking to be. I was induced w/ my 2nd at 38 weeks and everything went fine, she weighed 8lb 5 oz, good healthy weight and I was practically begging them at that point to do it! I would choose to be induced again if it comes down to it w/ this one. One reason for induction besides, if your having some medical problems, is a big baby. Which they were putting my 2nd at over 8lbs, so I was like, "Please, induce me!" I didn't want to deliever a 10lb baby naturally!! And I REALLY don't want a c-section. Anyways, I thought I'd share something positive about inductions, since most of what I've been reading is negative. Mine was great, I'd do it again in a heartbeat! It's nice knowing when you're going into labor, you can actually prepare for it, shave your legs, put on make-up if you chose, etc. as oppose to not knowing when it will happen like w/ my first. I was so much more prepared w/ the 2nd, plus we were able to find a babysitter and everything b/c we knew when it was going to happen. Good luck whatever they do! :) 1stimemommy85 -
Wednesday, 25 June That kinda sucks but I guess if the baby needs to stay in I am all the best for her. At least if we have any complication that requires induction it would be easier for us since we are already dialated. joshswife -
Tuesday, 24 June Getting induced it harder on your body and on the baby, but then lots of people do it everyday. Just because your doc wants to induce you, doesn't mean youhave to. It's your body! Unless of course there seems to be something wrong with you or the baby. Your body will eventually go into labor on it's own! foxymama -

Tuesday, 6 May Kinda sucks that doctors won't let you choose what you want to do with your body. I'm hoping the facts that I'm over 30 and a cystic fibrosis carrier will help convince my doctor that I am serious about tubal ligation. My husband will be going with me, and I will make sure he backs me up on my decision. biskit0323 -
