Me, Wardy(Richard) and Callum!!!

Hi Im from Leicester in England. I have Callum who is 5 and in October 2006 I had a miscarriage very early at about 4 and a half weeks. I also had another miscarriage Jan 2007, I went for a scan at 8 weeks due to some spotting and everything had stopped growing at 5 weeks. Had a normal period in Feb so trying to get pregnant again. I had Callum when I was 19 and he was 9lb 5(ouch). Not with his Dad anymore with my new partner and we are all very excited about having another baby.

Just tested and yes Im pregnant. Fingers crossed that everything goes ok this time!!!!

I have an early scan booked for Sat 28th April. I will be 6 weeks then so hopefully we will know if this one wants to stick or not!!

28th April.

Been for my scan today and YAY eveything is fine, my dates are correct and we saw our little bean and the heartbeat! It was amazing! Heres the pictures!!

19th May

Been for a scan this morning and everything is fine, saw baby wriggling around and heard the heartbeat for the 1st time. Im 9wks 1day!! Check pics out below!!

7th June

Im 11 weeks and 6 days and heard the babies heartbeat for the 1st time using my home doppler this morning! It was amazing!! Ill be doing it everyday know you watch!! he he

9th June

Been for my 12 week scan, they have changed my dates I have gone forward to 12wk 5 days. So now due on 17th Dec!

Baby was moving so much, had its little legs crossed and was sucking its fingers! Check out my scan pics!

Me at 14 weeks and 1 day!! Big I know, I have a scan on the 30th June and I will find out the sex. Cant wait!! We have names too.

Been for a sexing scan today. ITS A BOY!!!!!! We saw his willy and he was even grabbing it, so definatly a boy!!! We are really happy.

His name will be Devon William Ward!!!

2nd August

Been for my detailed scan today, eveything is ok apart from one thing!!???

Its a girl not a boy!!

Looks like my last scan it was her cord in view and thats what she was playing with.

Shocked but happy.

Her name is Sydney Jean Ward.

21 weeks and 5 days!!!

Had our 3d scan today, all is ok and she is definatly a girl. I have a pic of her bits and some 3d ones.............

She is def a girl!!!(see the 3 white lines)

She is tired!!!!!

Tues 10th Oct.

30 weeks and 2 days.

Im now on maternity leave. Finished a little earlier as I have had the flu and need the rest!! Feeling better now and just waiting for Dec 17th to come. Its gone so quick, cant believe in 9 weeks she could be here. We cant wait to see her now. Im massive too, Ill get a belly pic on here soon so you can all see HOW big! lol.

Hope everyone else is doing good, my last midwife appointment I was measuring just over a week bigger so we will see when I go back at 34 weeks. xxx

31 weeks 1 day.

Been for another 4d scan. It was amazing. She looks just like me and Callum.(so i think anyway)

She measure right and weighs around 3lb 10oz. Here are a few pics!!!

6th dec! 38 weeks 3 days

Been for check up today!! Lost my mucas plug last week and been having pains now and then. They stop and start!

Midwive checked me, she thinks baby may be breech so going for a scan tomorrow to check!!! x

7th Dec.

Been for my scan and she isnt breech so the wait is on again. She already weighs 8lb 12 oz!!! I wonder how big she will be when she decides to come!!

19th Dec

So 2 days overdue and still pregnant. Have pains everynight every 15 mins but they dont get stronger or any faster!!!

Had a bloody show yesterday so maybe she will be here before the weekend!! I HOPE SO!!!!!!

Got midwive appointment tomorrow so I'll update after. Fingers crossed for me. xxx

21st Dec

So 4 days overdue now. Still waiting. Went midwives yesterday and everything is fine. Booked for a sweep on xmas eve of all days. Not yet decided if I will have it. If i have to be induced it will be new years eve!!

Midwive seems to think I will have had her by Monday so we will see what the weekend brings!!!

Christmas eve SHE IS FINALLY HERE!!!

Woke up xmas eve morning with pain every 10 mins, not very strong. Went into hospital about 9am I was 2cm and was sent onto a ward!

Had some pethadine and was checked again at 12 midday. Still 10 mins apart and 2 cm. At 12.10 after she checked me they were coming every 3 mins and hurting. Checked again at 3pm and was 4cms but no beds on delivery suite so had to sit in the ward on gas and air til there was a bed about 6pm.

Went to delivery suite and was given an epidural and was 7cms at 7pm. My waters broke around 8.30 and there was so much water!

Epidural wore off around 11pm and was fully dilated and ready!! Never been in so much pain and such hard work. She came out at 11.43pm xmas eve night weighing 8lb 10oz. Loads of hair and gorgeous. Came out of hospital xmas day morning 10am!!
