April 7th:

We have a name change for my little boy....he will still go by Breyden, but we dropped the Timothy. Its going to be Breyden Scott! I like it so much more!!

April 10th: 21 weeks TODAY!!

So this past Sunday night my husband and I were laying on the couch when I felt Breyden kick. I put my hand on my belly to feel and noticed the next time he did it my hand moved. I took my hand of and watched my belly poke out. It was SO neat! My husband saw it and thought it was the coolest thing!! It was so much fun! And yesterday, WOW!! My little guy was awake most of the day while I was at work! I hadn't really felt him that much while I was up working, but yesterday he was def very active! I loved it! :)

26 weeks!!! May 15th

So I haven't done an update in awhile or a new belly shot! I have been feeling really well and enjoying the pregnancy so far. I have been so lucky! I just hope the last 14 weeks are as easy as the part. Here are some pics......

This one is of Breyden's crib we put together this past weekend. It is in our computer room right now, but when we are all finished it will be his room!

May 21st -26 weeks and 6 days

Today was our 2 year anniversary so we decided to have the 3D/4D ultrasound done as our gift to each other! It was so much fun to see him. He was kinda in a bad place to have it done though, but with a little jiggling of him we got some good pics. We also got a few videos, one you see him yawn twice! Poor thing he must have been tired! But it was an awesome experience! I can't wait to meet him!!

July 9 - 34 Weeks!!!

So it has been awhile since I have done an update. Since I have last did one I have had 2 baby showers and grown quite a bit!! :) Everything has been going pretty well though so I guess I just haven't thought to do one. Breyden is so active and has learned how to elbow me in my left side and kick me in my right ribs. I become REALLY tired now after I do anything. After I take a shower in the morning and get ready it is time for a nap! LoL! I am not working anymore so I have a lot more free time so I just try to keep busy by going out with friends for the day or rearranging every piece of furniture in my house! My husband yells at me everyday for that! haha! But I believe I have also started nesting a little. I like to clean for at least a few hours a day! I can't stand for anything to be dirty anymore! I am going to pack Breyden's hospital bag this week and some of mine as well. I just want to be prepared!! :) Here are a few pics from both showers that I had!!

34 WEEKS!!!!!!

July 27th - 36 weeks and 3 days!

So the day is getting closer and closer...and the pains are getting worse and worse! I guess I knew they had to come sometime though! I have been REALLY lucky up until this past week! He has def. dropped and I am having a lot of pressure! Mostly at night though. I have a lot of pain in my pelvic area, groin, lower back and the top inside of my thighs! I had my group B test this past week at my 36 week check up! She said if it came back negative she would strip my membranes at my next appt. if I wanted her too. I am still undecided about that! I heard sex does the same thing!! My wish is I wont even make it to my next appt on August 8th but we will see! My sister in-law flys in on August 14th and my mom on the 18th! That still seems far away! I don't want to be pregnant that long! LoL! Maybe I will have him right before they both get here so they can just enjoy spending time with him! We will see! Breyden moves a lot during the day, haven't felt him too much at night. Hes not what keeps me up! Its just the pains and having to go the bathroom every hour! I usually have a few BH contractions throughout the day....sometimes I can't tell if its a BH or if he is just balling up! Anyways, I will try to post a pic soon....when I have the energy to get myself dressed and take one! :)

August 9 - 38 weeks 2 days

So today was my 38 week checkup. I went in and they checked my blood pressure. It was really high. They told me they were going to have to admit me to L&D to be monitored. In the meantime the doc came in and checked me. I was 3 cm dialated and she said my cervix was very thin. She also stripped my membranes. I went up to labor and delivery after leaving the OB clinic and they watched me there for about an hour. My blood pressure went down but I have to do the 24 hour preeclampsia test now where you have to collect ALL of your urine for 24 hours and bring it back up there. So if I do have it they are going to be inducing me tomorrow!! I really don't want to have preeclampsia but if I do I get to meet my little man tomorrow!!! So we will see!!

August 12th - 38 weeks 5 days

Last night was so bad. I was having contractions on and off all throughout the day and about 10:30 they went to 5 minutes apart. Then about 2 hours later they were 8 minutes apart but they were hurting a lot worse. My lower back and upper legs we killing me. I couldn't sit still. When they came back down to 4-6 minutes apart we went to the hospital. I was still only dialted to a 3 so they told me to go walk for 2 hours. At 4:30 in the morning my husband are trying to just keep walking the aisle of the hospital hoping for some change but of course when we go back in NOTHING had changed! They gave me some ambian (SP?) to help me sleep b/c my back and legs were hurting and shaking. But we are back at home and I just got up from a good nights rest. Still having contractions, but not as strong as last night. The nurse said it could be the start of labor! I have my fingers crossed! :)

HE IS HERE!!!!!

AUGUST 14th

Breyden was born at 1:16pm on August 14th. He weighed 7 lbs and 6 oz. The labor and delivery went so well. I went into get my blood presure checked MOnday morning and it was a little high so they admitted me to labor and delivery to be monitored. I was having contractions that were about 7 minutes apart the whole time I was there but nothing too painful. Once my BP stabalized they sent me home. I knew when I left that I was probably in labor but I knew it was just the beginning. I had contractions throughout the day that were pretty regualr but they didn't get any closer. I went to bed as normal and I woke up at 2:45 in the morning with a pretty painful contraction. I got up and walked around for about 20 minutes. Durning that time they were REALLY starting to hurt. About 3:20 I woke my husband and was like it is def. time! We hurried and got everything together and got in the truck to go to the hospital. They were getting stronger and stronger the whole way there. About half way to the hospital I had a contraction and halfway through my water broke!! It was kinda exciting b/c then I KNEW there was no going home without the baby. When we got to the hospital and they checked me in and checked me I was 5 cm dialated!! I was like PLEASE can I have my epidural!! They gave me something first that lasted about an hour and then the epidural. It was so nice!! I felt nothing the whole time!! They checked me about 6 in the morning and I was dialted to a 6-7 and then again they checked me about 9 and I was a 10. But I didn't want to puch until I had the erge to b/c I didn't want to waste me time. I started pushing about 10:30 and and they said the baby was looking good and getting lower. Then my contractions STOPPED!! COMPLETELY!!!! For 2 1/2 hours my contractions didn't come. And when I did have one it barely registered on the monitor. Finally about 12:30 they were getting strong enough to start pushing again. It didn't take long at all and he was here. As soon as he was born they placed him on my chest. It was the most AMAZING thing I have ever felt in my life. I was so happy and so emotional! He is PERFECT! I am so glad that he is finally here! Although the recovery for me was worse then the deivery it is all going well and my lif is so complete now!!
