More....

Hi all... Im 29 from Warrington, in Cheshire England... Been sick morning, noon and night and just turning the corner now thank god!!! Im married to Andy who is 38 and is just lovely weve been together for 7 years and got married 2 years ago on May 12th, in a Castle in Leeds, the most fab day ever!!! Weve been trying for a baby ever since and was on hormones for a long time, which drove me crazy so stopped taking them in Feb and got Charlie our puppy.

Then a few weeks later I fell pregnant... due the 21ST December so excited!!!

Had first scan on the 6th June and was totally amazing... the little one was jumping about, no wonder ive been so sick. Cant wait for my next scan booked for the 1st Aug... not going to find out what sex the baby is.. love surprises!!! Just want a healthy baby..

15th June - 13 Weeks today. Was sick for the first time in ages last night... hope this doesnt last forever.. im counting down now to the next scan which is the 1st of August.. and cant wait. My hair is looking real drabby is it okay to dye it do you think?

22nd June - 14 Weeks today. Still ill at nights but the days are getting much easier still cant wait to have my boy back!!! Role on Christmas

29th June - 15 Weeks today. This week has gone really quickly and starting to feel quite okay, everyday is getting so much better, ive not been sick for a WEEK now.. wow.. thank you god!!! Got my T-Test next week not looking forward to that... oh and dyed my hair had it done at the hairdressers.. well I have foil highlights done, and dont go anywhere near your roots, turned out great at normal..so was glad about that, and made me feel 100% better.

Week 16 - 6th July

Felt fine all week apart from being tired constantly, but this morning I was sick again...is this normal? At 16 weeks.. in some kinds strange way I feel now its a good thing as its a sign my baby is there!!! told you it was quite strange... im sure you know what I mean. I saw the midwife this week, she weighed me.... OH MY GOD... im the heaviest ive ever been already...help??? I dont wanna be a big fatty!!!

Work is getting harder, come 2pm im falling asleep and its such a battle to stay motivated, without thinking baby...then once I get home I have to take my mad Charlie for a walk, which is a least an hour in the pouring rain... are we ever going to get a summer? Wishful thinking ...

If anyone has any tips on diet for me, would be much appreciated!!! thanks xx

God im totally on a parra... please help me.... 16 weeks and 5 days today and get downs results on the 20th July, really dreading it, its really bothering me... I just want my baby to be okay...as im sure everyone does. But I keep on having really bad dreams. Last night I went into labour and was screaming to my mum that I couldnt have it yet it wasnt ready and she was just too excited that she said it will be fine.

Ive also not felt any movement is this normal?? this really worries me...

Friday 13th July - Week 17

Gosh time seems to be speeding up a bit now. Must admit dont like being pregnant much at all, although I love my little bean, I just dont feel myself. My friend found out yesterday shes having a baby girl shes so happy, shes 20 weeks, and she already has 2 boys, so she was buzzin. I get my results from the downs test next Friday, so fingers crossed all will be well. Hopefully Ill get to hear my babies heart beat!!!

WEEK 18 - 20TH JULY

Wow just heard babies heart beat which has reasured me completley, that baby is ok as still haven felt any movement. T-Test came back very low risk, feel so so so happy about that. The only bad points at the moment is feel about 20 stone!!! legs are full of water which is just arwful....

20 Weeks

Wow half way how exciting!!! is this a boy or a girl? Love the suspense of not knowing, makes it really exciting guessing.

10th August - 21 Weeks

Belly getting big now, although to shy to take pictures... dont like feeling and looking so fat... feeling the baby move so much now which is lovely and a relief... cant wait to have this lil pea x

24th August - 23 Weeks

Gosh heartburn getting increasingly worse getting it all day instead of just evenings... not a nice thing at all!!! Baby still really active, took he/she swiming last night, think both of us really found it quite relaxing... 119 days to go!!!

05th October - 29 Weeks

Well getting much fatter now!!! lol but not long to go... nursery is finished and its just gorge!!! Enjoying going Aqua-natal every Thursday its lovely to meet other girls and speak to the midwife. not much more to say really apart from baby is kicking like mad, totally stuck under my rib yesterday and the day before.... oh yeah and

12th October WOW - 30 Weeks

30 weeks... Just seen the Midwife, and all is well, she measured me and apparently im 30cm which is spot on!!! so ner ner ner ner to all those who think im massive. I think it really depends on what im wearing to distiguish!!

Just booked a few days away in November which im really looking forward too, taking Charlie to the Lakes... lol

30th October - 32 Weeks

Is it just me, but gosh i feel so down lately im so tired of being fat and pregnant, ive never felt so ugly in my life!!! and im just getting bigger & bigger.... I cant wait to have this baby, im just soooooo fed up!!! only 52 days to go and 38 days until I finish work which I just cant wait for as im sooooooo tired now... and could do with some chill out time.

9th November - 34 Weeks

Had an appointment with the Midwife last Friday which all went well, just a little infection in my wee wee... but nothing to serious. We took Charlie to the Lake District for 3 days and he had such a ball, rounding up sheep & jumping in swamps it was so funny, that I didnt realise how far Id actually walked. So my feet are completely blown up and I look like elephant man!! even my hands blew up, it was arwful.. and I started to get this pushing pain down in my pelvis, I ask the midwife she said it was the baby getting into position, gosh... amazing... need to hang on to baby for a few more weeks though I think. Im so fed up of being pregnant now... I just cant wait to meet my baby.

Ive also decided to finish for maternity in 2 weeks instead of 4, as im so tired when I get home from work that nothing is getting done, and I just cant find the energy to do it... is anyone else like that?

16th November

35 Weeks - 35 DAYS TO GO!!!

Gosh getting there slowly but surely.... feel like I just cant move now everything feels so squashed up!!! Finish work next Friday so im real excited about that!!! Going to the Midwife today...nothing much else to say really... good luck all xx

WOW - 36 WEEKS TODAY - 28 DAYS TO GO & LAST DAY @ WORK!!!!

Im sooooo excited that its my last day at work, I just cant belive its finally here!!! I did bring the date 2 weeks forward, due to my legs and feet just blowing up really bad and there so painful just sat here all day in the office. So by the time I got home Im so tired and stiff to start cleaning... I cant beleive 4 weeks to go and im a mum!!! what will he/she look like... mad xx

23RD DECEMBER 2007

Had a baby girl called Ruby 6lbs and gorge

Woke up on Saturday night (22nd) by the cat tapping me on the shoulder, and so thought I may aswell go to the loo, and felt a sudden gush, of which I thought my waters had broken only to find that it was blood. So I called up the hospital and they told me to go over straight away... they kept me in over night so that they could monitor the baby.

The next morning, they asked if they were ok to induce me, and monitored the baby some more, of which they wasnt very happy with her heart beat, apparently it wasnt up and down enough.... they took me up took me up to the labor ward about 130pm and id been having period type pains since 5am so I thought something was happening and maybe they wouldnt need to induce me. They still tried to brake my waters which was really painful... as obviously they had already gone!!! By 3pm they really were worried about Ruby's heart beat and I was having contractions by this stage so they gave me an epidural before I was even 3cm.... as they wanted to be ready incase I had to go to theatre... half an hour later... I was off!!! Her heart beat went right down to 70 and that was it, Andy was told to get scrubbed up..and off we went...

The C Section was just the weirdest feeling ever in the world... and the best feeling when I held her for the first time... gosh... just amazing... good luck to all of you xxx

Wow how quicky is time going now im not pregnant, already its the 8th Jan 2008 and Ruby is now just over 2 weeks old and shes fantastic I just love her to bits.... she seems to always have wind though lol Sleepless nights are harder than I imagined... shes waking around every 3 hours and it feels more like every 20 mins!!

Im amazed how Charlie has taken to her... hes great very pretective and im so suprised how he just sits beside her... its lovely and I love taking them both out walking... plus its helping get me back into shape!!! I put on 2 stone alltogether and ive lost 9lbs already which is just groovy
