Our Story:
My name is Michele, I met my husband back in 2005 after coming home from a shopping adventure. I took a route a normally do not take because i had my friend with me and i had to drive her home. So i had my hand out my window flowing in the wind, and he was coming the opposite way on his motorcycle. He thought i was waving at him. I pulled into the gas station to get a pack of cigarettes (i smoked then) and he pulled in as i was walking to my car. When he was in the gas station i pulled around to look at his bike, and then i was going to take off. my friend was like you arent going to say hi... so i pulled a u'ey back into the gas station and we got to talk. He talked a good game and asked me what i was doing later that evening. i had plans to go out with my girls from work, and gave him my number. Well at midnight i got a call from him saying that he was at the bar.. so i went to meet him.. We went to the diner after we ate, and the rest is history =D
We got married on July 4th 2006.

February 24th 2008

I took a pregnancy test today after not getting my period for about a week. Sure enough it had 2 pretty pink lines on it. I AM PREGNANT. I ran to my husband, and he told me to take another test. We were not expecting to be pregnant yet. We were planning to try to conceive in August after a friends wedding. But we could not be happier. According to online calculators and the date on my LMP I am due October 25th 2008. A Halloween baby. I am so excited

I made an appointment with a new OB/GYN. My first appointment is on the 19th of this month. He has many offices in the areas I travel to so I hope he is a candidate. I decided not to go back to my old OB/GYN because I did not like one of the dr's in the office. I hope that everything goes well at the appointment.

8 weeks pregnant today, and man has the morning sickness been killing me. When i go to the doctors i hope that he can help. I mean brushing my teeth in the morning means i am going to throw up 3 minutes later. I have been thinking of baby names, but are unsure of them. Oh so many decisions to make in JUST 9 months. I cant wait to meet the little pumpkin seed that is making my mornings hell.

I had my ultrasound today =D EVERYTHING looks great. I am sooo happy. I saw the heartbeat my little flutter. The baby was kicking and punching. It was such a relief to see. My Little pumpkin sprout . Here are the pictures from the ultrasound.

So I met with the midwives today and I honestly can say that I felt sooo comfortable with these women. They supported what I expect from my pregnancy, and they really work hard to be sure that it is a personal experience. I have a group of friends who are sisters and heard nothing but positive things about the group. My OB/GYN that I had been going to no longer did deliveries and left the delivery in the hands of the high risk doctors at my hospital. So at least if i need a c section my midwives will be there and the high risk doctors, whose care i would have been under with that ob/gyn, would do the procedure. I am really happy! I feel sooo good, but i still get sick in the morning. My lil pumpkin sprout.

Today was my Nuchal test. Everything went well. I was asked to participate in a Yale study that checks the red blood cell count in the placenta. So I am going to have extra ultrasounds. Atleast one in each of the remaining trimesters. So I am attaching the pictures from the nuchal test. Enjoy

So my DH and i are soooo happy that i made it to today. A couple of years ago i had a m/c and i could not be happier to be a mom. Life is falling into place so perfectly. We found a house, and we have an offer in it, it was accepted, alls we were waiting for was the mortgage to approve. Saturday it was approved and we are the proud owners of a home. I could not be more estatic. I thought that i was going to have to raise a child in or crappy 1br apartment. Nope we arent experiencing that we are very happy to have 3br 2.5ba a full finished basement (that doesnt leak like many that we looked at) Life for me is just about perfect right now. I can not WAIT to meet my baby. I took some belly pics today. I think i just look "fat". I copied this pregnancy survey from someone.... i am going to take some time to do it now

So i went for my appointment today that i totally forgot about last week.. baby brain is getting the best of me. I heard the baby's heartbeat with the doppler =D it was sooo exciting. I then met with the other women Debbie of the practice and sat and spoke with her about diet etc... we also got all my blood results back... i am negative of all diseases. (as if i wouldnt be) I guess the other midwife Linda thought because I am a tattoo lover that she wanted me tested for hep c which came back neg, but there is always that fear. I know all the tattoos i have done are clean... but once someone says something it kind of makes me think twice...

I made my appointment for my big ultrasound. It is on May 30th 2008 =D maybe i will find out the sex. (as long as baby cooperates) I am also going for the other half of my blood tests for the quad screen. Peace of mind is always nice.

My husband Mike enrolled in a daddy's to be class.. like his idol scott baio. i also need to pick classes out to go to as well. I dont know which i will choose, but i guess i dont need to figure it out quite yet.

UPDATE: due to some scheduling errors at work i needed to move my **big appointment** to June 4th at 8:30 am... f*n people at work
