1st of may

hey.

my name is jeanette im 24 from waterfrod ireland.

iIve kept up the aul posting everyweek week by week but got board of the ladies jst talking to each other.

So ill do a myspace on it and jst use my home page.

Im 29 weeks pregnant now nearly 30 having loads of lil preoblem .My baby girl is only measuring 27 weeks.Iim crazy worriad i cant seem to relax.

Im still working away which is getting really hard,but i have to keep going.

Im babsically a single mum but me and the dad are very close and i love him sooooo much and i think thats all that matters rite now.

Im still very small was never really skinny always size 12 but im about a 14 europien now tiny bump which of course worrys me as well

My last scan was nearly 3 weeks ago , i have to keep goin back for growth scans last time she had finally nearly caught up around here belly but was still 2 weeks behind from her head measurments by my dates she was 4 weeks behind.

worriad worriad worriad.shes defo still in breacn position and at me docs appointment yesterday the g.p couldnt tell me what position she was in coz im SOOOO NEAT i dont feel neat.

its sooo hot here now hard to find thngs to wear i have GIANT LEGS now not due to pregnnancy i always had a really thick calf sooo i cant wear leggins so i have to boilllllllllllllll

i cant wait till shes here.

We wont know how baby is progressing till the next ultrasound but according to my fundal height I am only measuring 1 week behind now so that is good news. I know what you mean about the people who smoke and drink while pregnant. It eats me alive, I have always done everything I could to make sure I had a healthy baby and my oldest has loads of health problems.

I went to the doctor today, the perinatoligist says I have gestational diabetes and sent me to get baseline labwork to check for pre-eclampsia. While there I also recieved a lovely orange jug to pee in for the next 24 hours. I was right when I told my husband I thought they were paying alot of attention to the baby's heart on the last ultrasound. The doc says there is a small amount of fluid around the baby's heart but he doesn't seem concerned with it right now. He says I have a skinny baby and this one won't be anywhere near the 8 pounds 4 ounces my last weighed. I am scheduled for an another ultrasound in 3 weeks, my midwife appts will continue to be weekly and every other week I will have non stress tests. I am also awaiting a call from the diabetes clinic at the hospital to meet with a dietician for nutritional counseling. My husband went with me today and now undersands how strict my bedrest is supposed to be. I think when the perinatoligist went and got the wheelchair for me that must have done it. I am allowed to lay or sit but no walking or driving. Hubby has now offered to get up my 7 year old and get him off to school and is going to go in late on Mondays to take me to the doctor! I am so much less stressed than last week, even though I found out I do have GD. I can easily sacrifice 10 weeks of food I love for the health of my little boy.

They say ignorance is bliss. With my oldest, I didn't have not a care or wory in the world. I had no idea of all the things that could go wrong. I never had one problem with my pregnancy. After my youngest I decided to have my tubes tied, thinking there is no way I could make it through another loss. After getting remarried, my husband has no children and I knew he wanted one of his so I had surgery to undo it. It wasn't guaranteed to work but it sure did! I would like to have 1 more after this one but I don't know if my body can handle anymore. Maybe I can talk my husband into adopting.

Yes, I have the 2 boys one 15 who is staying with grandma until the baby comes (he is special needs) my 7 year old who is here with me until school is out in 3 weeks and then he is going to stay with his dad for the summer (until the baby comes) he will be back before school starts back and I had a baby who was born sleeping, (he came early at 19 weeks) he would be 9 in September of this year. I think I was meant to raise boys, I told my husband if we don't adopt a girl, I won't have a daughter until my boys get married! The boys are excited but were a little dissapointed when they found out they were having another brother. They were hoping for a sister.
Do are you going to the doctor nce a month? I have been going every 2 weeks since 20 weeks since I am considered high risk and the last 3 weeks I have been every week. Two weeks ago they put me on modified bedrest and then last week strict bedrest with bathroom priveliges. I have been watching alot of movies the last few weeks.

yes, I noticed on the ultrasound machine one of the little round knobs said 3d/4d. I think here all perionatologists and maternal fetal specialists have them. There are so many knobs on the machine I didnt notice the 1st time but this time I was in the room for about 25 minutes waiting on the doc that never showed.
My fathers ancestors are from Ireland, I really hope to visit someday. I love culture. So far the only places I have been outside the US are Mexico, Canada and Colombia, South America, but I have friends from all over New Zeland, Australia even Lebanon and Egypt.

I clipped those pics from a video taken at my last ultrasound, there is actually one part where he looked like he was gonna cry! I had no idea she would turn on the 3d, I asked her if she could get a profile shot cuz the face shot I got at 20 weeks was a straight on shot and looked wierd. It was really awesome to get to see him, wish he would have been a little more still so I could have gotten more pics!

I posted a couple of ultrasound pics, 2 of the 3d. It was hard for her to get a good shot because he is so low in the pelvis and facing the placenta, but I can see nose lips and a hand! Hope all is going well with you. Keep me updated.

Hi ya my love sorry not been in touch for a couple of days -

I am giving up work today - docs said i cant work no more - as i had 4d scan and had good and bad news - baby is fine and kidneys are only slightly worse so nothing to really worry about there - but because his kidneys are not functioning nor are mine now and i have a dilated kidney which i might have to loose when i have had him. Also because of all the kidney infections i have got e.coli infection which can be harmful to Mackenzie - so more reg check ups and if gets any worse - labour may have to be started early.,

Good news is he is head down and he wont move now so looking like i can have him naturaly and he is already 5 pounds and mesures 35 weeks - so 5 weeks bigger so not likely to go full term anyhow.

That's great that you have a great family and the baby's daddy is there for you!

I don't know what my baby weighs right now...I will probably find that out at our 3D/4D scan. I am anxious to see how big she is. In one of our early scans, she looked like she had long legs (which she doesn't get from me...I'm only just over 5 feet tall).

They say normal for 29 weeks for a baby is 2.75lbs or so, so you do have a tiny little one. But you know what...my sister was a totally healthy full term baby and she was only 6 pounds even at birth. She measured small the whole time my mom was pregnant with her. She turned out just fine...she's just petite still to this day. Hope that's a little reassurance for you. Your baby may be totally healthy...just a tiny little peanut!! :)

Yeah...I'm sure she'll be fine! We are far enough along now that if they would born now, hospitals can do wonderful things! I love the names Lola and Lila. My husband and I were actually thinking about the name Lila, but a friend of the family just had a little girl and named her that. We only get two scans here in the US unless there are complications, so we had ours at 12 weeks and 18 weeks. However, my husband and I can't go without seeing her again, so we are paying to have a 3D/4D scan on May 11th (that's mother's day here). Couldn't think of a better mother's day gift than to see my little girl!! So do you have alot of support from your family and friends? I hope so!
