Well what a shock, twins, and who knew they were in my family. But even more of a shock for it to be through IVF. We had one embryo put back thinking it would be nice to have one more child, and blow us down we have been blessed with two. Didn't find out till our 12 week scan. We had two previous scans that showed us one baby. T2 must have been behind T1. Surprise! My husband and I can't be happier. Even Layla our 2 year old daughter is excited and keeps asking for them to come out!! I am sure the time will come soon enough for her to ask them to go back too!!

Well, have made it to the 20 week mark. Both of our identical girls are doing great. We still have to keep a close eye on them as they share the same placenta and may produce the Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS). But no sign of it so far, so fingers crossed for the rest of the pregnancy. I can feel both girl moving so much this past week, more so after just eating or just when I wake in the morning. They are really active little girls, I think they are going to be just like their 22 month old sister Layla.

Well 21 weeks now and all going as well as can be expected. Apart from the low lying placenta, that can cause some discomfort I can `t complain too much. Belly is getting quite big now and the girls are on the go, most of the time they kick just after eating and when I relax. Still not gained much weight, so far 3.3lbs or 1.4 kg `s, doctor isn `t concerned about it and recons there is plenty of time for weight gain. Still not sleeping too well, wake up heaps, having the flu doesn `t help much though. One day at a time is all I keep telling myself. OXOXOXOXO

Well made it through Christmas....just with this bloody cold! The girls have been moving heaps today, I think its because I overdosed on Chocolate! I may even gain a pound or too over the next few days. Got my OB appointment tomorrow and a scan on the 7th. Looking forward to both, updates are always nice.
