no, but i was wondering if it was possible to get it this soon with bfing bc we had sex last week and i thought i felt myself ovulate and im wondering if i could be pregnant. since you got your '.' then i guess it is possible. oh boy, i guess i'll find out soon. what are you doing for bc? if im not pregnant, i'll start the mini pill. i actually want to get pregnant now, but i heard it wasnt good for me or the baby. do you want to get pg any time soon?

Niknaks - Monday, 14 July
hi there! I had postpartum depression which started the 2nd week after my baby was born - couldn't stop crying and then of course I had all the guilty feelings too which accompany it. I immediately went onto sulpiride tablets, (been taking them now for nearly 3 weeks) which double up as an antidepressant and a stimulant for milk production. They worked really quickly and I've felt great ever since. Please get something from your doctor. it's nothing funny, so your doctor won't have an issue prescribing something for you. You need your sanity in order to care for your baby! Good luck :)

I think I may be having it, my hubby had to take off of work yesterday for me to get some rest cuase I couldnt stop crying. My baby didnt sleep for 12 hours and was crying nonstop. I have pretty much cried everyday for the past week at least once a day. On tuesday I will ask the doc. for some meds to help me feel happier.

Thanks. That is funny, I've never heard of a man taking them! I'm not nursing, so it would just be for me. I think I'm going to keep taking them, to keep me strong and healthy for my baby. Also, I plan to try to get pregnant in 10-11 months so it is probably a good idea.

My 6 week old had frothy poos and I suspected foremilk/ hindmilk imbalance and seeing as he feeds about 10 min each time I think iīve made it better by giving him 3 feeds on each breast before switching, I think that way I can be sure heīs getting more hindmilk. Itīs complicated isnīt it

knockoutmom - Friday, 20 June
oh wow. thats pretty intense! i pump every 3 hours yet still feel engorged about an hour or two afterwards so im always so afraid waiting til that 3 hour mark. i wanna get use to doing it that often though and not anymore. thanks for the advice though, ill be on the lookout! and im glad to hear your doing better!!! how do you think you got it?

danish-girl - Friday, 20 June
what is foremilk/hindmilk?

DeeRod - Friday, 20 June
My son's poop had turned bright green and we suspected foremilk/hindmilk imbalance. I had his nures solely on one side for 2 feedings in a row, then switch sides. This seemed to help but he still gets green poo once in awhile. Hope this helps. Also check out www.kellymom.com for good tips!

knockoutmom - Thursday, 19 June
ouch! how did you get mastitis? i pump to feed riley and constantly still feel engorged. im so afraid of getting it. i sometimes feel a sharp pinching feeling in my breast and freak out that thats what it is but then it goes away real quick. what did they do for you to get rid of it?

rachel918 - Thursday, 19 June
feel better soon!

MonikaOH - Wednesday, 11 June
Traget has sponge insert you can put in the tub under baby so his cord is not in water at all. My baby tub is raised so water touched his bottom but back and head are up. If that is too hard, just soeak baby's bottom in sink under water (you can rest baby on arm and pour water from cup on his parts/bottom area later I used hair dryer on low setting to dry it before applying ointment. Messy but makes a difference.

MonikaOH - Tuesday, 10 June
I had the same problem for 4 weeks. Finally swaddlers sensitive, washing with cotton balls soaked in warm, previously boiled water and gently pat drying with soft paper towel plus new A&D with zink (white cream) for each diaper change helped. I also bathe him in water (no soaps) every day and change dieapers as soon as wet or dirty (swaddlers sensitive have wetness indicator ). Good luck!

gabymom - Monday, 9 June

I have the Avent electric pump as well, how do you type and pump?!!

aubreyd08 - Wednesday, 4 June
Hi there! My baby will be 4 weeks old this coming Friday and had the EXACT same problem. She was about 2 weeks early and her biliruben levels were acceptable but SLIGHTLY high so her doctor thinks that could have been the reason for her being so sleepy... She had me wake her every 3 hours to feed for 1 week straight to try to get her on a more acceptable feeding schedule.. that ended last Thursday and it has helped A LOT! She is now on a perfect feeding schedule and it actually helped my milk come in WAY better. I was told that she shouldn't sleep more than 4 hours at night at this age... Good luck - and I hope this helps. :0)

Natos - Sunday, 1 June

knockoutmom - Friday, 30 May
thats such an awesome story! it made me laugh, too. you know we all dread the little "nugget" you talked about but it sounds like you played it off like a champ! i wish i had the courage to do it in a tub (if she wasnt breech). congrats again!
