My name is Gretchen and my husband is Auggie. We have been married for five years. We started trying to conceive for our first child in the summer of 2007. I got pregnant in November 2007. Unfortunately, I had an early miscarriage in December 2007 at five weeks. We are pregnant again now and hoping and praying this one will be a sticky bean!

Wow the first month! It aggravated me at times but it was well worth it now! I passed it on to a friend of mine so hopefully it will be good. :)

Gosh 12 weeks couldn't come fast enough. I had a vaginal birth with meds with my daughter. However I tried to go natural with her. I could not feel my contractions at all, so they were worried that when it came time to push I wouldn't feel the urge - so they administered Pitocin and that gave me the worse back labor of my life -- so I asked for pain relief. This time I would really really really like to try to go all natural with no meds. But we'll see how it goes. Since he's so low - people have been telling me, it should be a quick delivery - let's see if I get that lucky.
I'll be posting my birthing plan soon!! I'll be doing it at 30 weeks!!
I can't believe that I could have less than 12 weeks to go... although at times I feel like that is FOREVER away!! emmalouise - Friday, 15 August

Awww I love love love Owen!! That was one of our choices we had picked out until we heard of Asher and we were sold!! And Emma is my fav girls name - my hubby wouldn't allow it though! haha... but he settled on Ava or Addison instead. I love Emma! It's beautiful! And how do you pronouce your last name?? You have a name like my maiden name -- Tkalcic! LOL...
