Hi, my name is Haley and I'm 26 years old. I found out several weeks ago that I'm pregnant. As of 2-19-08, I'm 8 weeks along so I have a long ways to go. My hubby, Cory, of 2 1/2 years is the greatest ever. This pregnancy was unexpected but we are very excited! He left to go overseas before I found out I was expecting. Hopefully he'll be able to make it home for the birth of our first child. I hope to meet new friends that are going through the same experience. I look forward to it!!!

Oh, wow, 80 stitches - that sounds just awful!! Maybe it's just as well the attending doctor made that call. I was just curious. Didn't really worry me, having that one by c-section. They put me under before the worst of the labor pains and I recovered quickly. Also I've gone on to have two more VBAC without any problems. Thanks for your note; hope you're having a nice day.

I have done my whole pregnancy alone as well, as my husband is interning in California and I live in Massachusetts. I got pretty upset recently because he is missing all of this pregnancy, he doesn't see/feel the baby kick, he can't talk to him so that my son knows his father's voice. Especially he can't be here to clean my cat litter and wrangle my two huge dogs who I am pretty tired of dealing with. I need someone to do all the heavy lifting around here, and I could use the occasional back/foot rub. I start childbirth classes alone in August. I can imagine how depressing that will be.

Thanks for your thoughts. It's good to hear that your doctor wasn't angry. You have a much better reason for it than me and I hope all turns out well for you, your husband and your baby. Thank him for all he's does for our country, his service does mean a lot to a lot of people!

wow, for awhile I was thinking I was the only one having the achey hands and feet. Everyone is talking abouut leg cramps... i don't have those... but it hurts so bad to straighten my hands out or to make a fist. It is awful in the mornings, sometimes it wakes me up it hurts so bad. Do you drink enough water? I know I don't... i drink alot of decaf tea... :) I have a dr. appt on the 7th, i'm gonna ask my dr what is wrong with me. Hope your having a great weekend.

Im even scared of the c-section lol. Thats one of the reasons Im scared of him being big because my doc said his shoulders could be big and it can be hard to deliver.

Well my 2 daughters were 6 pounders and that was painful. I dont even want to know what an 8-10lb baby feels like lol.
