Hi, my name is Haley and I'm 26 years old. I found out several weeks ago that I'm pregnant. As of 2-19-08, I'm 8 weeks along so I have a long ways to go. My hubby, Cory, of 2 1/2 years is the greatest ever. This pregnancy was unexpected but we are very excited! He left to go overseas before I found out I was expecting. Hopefully he'll be able to make it home for the birth of our first child. I hope to meet new friends that are going through the same experience. I look forward to it!!!

Friday, 1 August lol, everybody thinks I'm a little crazy because I know all the specific dates but we were writing everything down... :) km-dickson -
Friday, 1 August Girl, I'm in the same boat! My LMP was on Christmas Day, and that would have made my due date Sept. 30th, but my two early U/S showed my due date as October 12th! I guess the earlier ones are much more accurate in predicting than the later ones are, because as we get further along, everyone starts to vary in terms of weight and measurements, etc. I don't know what to tell you, except your instinct is definitely worth something, so don't ignore it.....but the due date is just an estimate. I'm feeling like this one will come closer to the beginning of October than the middle.....but we'll see. suzetter -
Friday, 1 August Hi-just wanted to respond to your post in week 34, My LMP was Nov 30 and we conceived on Dec. 17, my due date is september 7. So far baby and I are measuring right on track and when I had my big ultrasound at 18 weeks the specialist told me that she came up with the same due date as my OBGYN. Hope this helps you some! :) honeybee621 -
Friday, 1 August I had my LMP around the same time as you. I would say I started on either the 6th or 7th, as I the 8th was my wedding day, and I remember what a drag that was! I am 34 weeks and 3 days today! Good Luck! judi -
Friday, 1 August Yeah, they checked my blood for everything when I had my glucose test, and my iron levels were fine. But you're right, anemia is common at this stage and would explain dizziness. I'll ask the doctor and midwife on Monday what they think. This staying home all the time is awful. I will go out tomorrow, with my husband to keep and eye on me :P and then to my appointments Monday.

Friday, 1 August Thats weird that you have the same due date as me and we have way different lmp dates. My last menstrual period was 12-25. judi -
Thursday, 31 July Well, that is a bit of a worry, but her legs were apart and the tech said "girl" so I really have no choice but to assume she knew what she was talking about. As I said, if she turns out to be a boy, that's okay. He'll just wear pink dresses! He'll be too young to be severely traumatized, I hope! LOL.

Tuesday, 29 July Wow, it sounds like we are going through the same exact thing. It does stink, and I am over it! I am like waking up grumbling and cranky cause I am soooo uncomfortable, and am not getting enough sleep. I am so blessed to be pregnant, but soooooo ready to have my little man out and in my arms, so I can feel like myself again!! bbethanylynne -
Monday, 28 July Wow... I thought there would be more people on the blog who were also measuring big like our babies. My doc told me the same thing...that she isn't going to move my due date right now because 2 weeks is not a significant difference from my due date. Let me know how things go with you and your baby! Wanted to tell you I love all your pictures of your baby boy and you're carrying GREAT..you actually look small and the way you are carrying it looks like you're having a girl. Maybe you'll have more of that basketball effect when you get further along..lol.
I've got 2 boys and I think another one on the way and I usually stick out really BIG.
Best wishes to you and yours..Tina kindro8 -

Friday, 25 July Awesome! That is hilarious. People from all over the world on here, and three of us from within 30 min. of each other. :) judi -
Thursday, 24 July Oh, wow, 80 stitches - that sounds just awful!! Maybe it's just as well the attending doctor made that call. I was just curious. Didn't really worry me, having that one by c-section. They put me under before the worst of the labor pains and I recovered quickly. Also I've gone on to have two more VBAC without any problems. Thanks for your note; hope you're having a nice day.

Friday, 18 July I have done my whole pregnancy alone as well, as my husband is interning in California and I live in Massachusetts. I got pretty upset recently because he is missing all of this pregnancy, he doesn't see/feel the baby kick, he can't talk to him so that my son knows his father's voice. Especially he can't be here to clean my cat litter and wrangle my two huge dogs who I am pretty tired of dealing with. I need someone to do all the heavy lifting around here, and I could use the occasional back/foot rub. I start childbirth classes alone in August. I can imagine how depressing that will be. melmelwel32 -

Thursday, 10 July Thanks for your thoughts. It's good to hear that your doctor wasn't angry. You have a much better reason for it than me and I hope all turns out well for you, your husband and your baby. Thank him for all he's does for our country, his service does mean a lot to a lot of people!
