Hi Mummies!!!! 
This is sooo exciting!!! My first pregnancy experience was a tragic one...I lost my little girl to HLHS which almost made me afraid to try again....but now here I am almost 27 weeks with a healthy baby boy! I have gained almost 30 pounds so far which I am really NOT happy about!! I just hope I can keep it under 200 pounds until 9 months!!! I am going to get another ultrasound done soon so I will post some of those pics once I get them!

My boyfriend FINALLY got to feel the baby kick...everytime he has gone to put his hand on my belly Nik stops moving!! he's playing silly buggers!!!

Well yesterday was my baby shower! I had a great time and got some gorgeous gifts for the spoiled little guy floating in me! He is going to be the best dressed baby in town!!! After all the presents were opened I was sitting down in my brand new rocking chair. I got up and had totally soaking wet pants, cushion, underwear everything!! Some of my water leaked it was quite a bit!!! so I immediately thought I was in labour. So I cut my cake and had a cup of coffee and then my Mum said lets go to the hospital to check it out! so we went up there and I got strapped up to a baby stress monitor and this crazy nurse kept arguing with me that I pee'd myself which turned out to be totally false. The nurse did an internal swab for amniotic fluid but just looked at the stick for 2 seconds and then tossed it in the garbage!!!!
I was freaking out so when she left the room I told my Mum to get a latex glove and just test the underwear I had brought which were soaked with the fluid. So we tested them and the swab changed colour I told my doctor that right away and he said if there wasnt any contractions to report then to go home and come back if anything else happened. That episode makes me so nervous when it comes to the competency of some nurses. I mean that 1st nurse actually argued with me that I had pee'd my self !!!! I'm glad I pursued it otherwise I wouldnt have known for sure what it really was! but what a crazy way to end a baby shower eh?!?
