Hi guys, I am just over 33 weeks and gained over 40lbs but evenly spread, I honnestly done feel groos or anything.
My obstitrician makes me feel terrible about how much I have put on and I dread getting on the scales in front of her as she makes me feel bad, but the rest of the time I feel great.
I am a model and have worked 7 photos shoots for various magazines and maternity websites and they have still being using me, my last shoot was only a few days ago. Its how you feel that counts.
Afterwards lots of people tell me if you breast feed you loose weight much quicker and your so active the weight just falls off too.
My baby is in the right position but spine along my left side as opposed to central with mine (not sure if thats a problem, but she said we will just have to find out in the next visit). I have a scan and see the baby each visit as she has the ultra machine in her office, so its nice to see exactly whats going on - now every fortnight!
Its pretty crazy looking at my tummy moving around and other people notice it too, they see the kick as he is so active and strong.
I have packed my bag and a seperate one for the baby, sure I have packed far too much, as if we are going on a 2 week holiday - better to have too much than too little...
I would love to hear anyones views and experiences compared to mine.
Thanks for listening
Today im 17 weeks exactly - had my 4th scan and found out the sex - it’s a BOY - so happy.
My husband now has one of each, but this is my first and im over the moon.
In two weeks we have the 3D scan that checks all the babies’ organs and for spin bifida, as my results for the NT scan came back extremely low risk im more than positive.
My bump is starting to show nicely and lucky I haven’t put on any weight anywhere else.
As a Model, I used to be quite conscious on my weight, so its taking a little getting used to the weight gain - but im enjoying the ride.
I have already being booked for pregnancy modeling on the 15th Feb for Cosmopolitan Magazine (come on bump GROW) lol
My breasts are still gigantic and the tenderness varies from day to day - such is life!
