Everything is great! Found out this week that it's a girl and I talked with my doctors nurse today and she said that my quad screen came back negative and that the ultra sound showed a healthy baby so there's not much more I could ask for at this point. How are things going for you?

emilydueinnovember - Saturday, 30 August
Hey, im from week 27 but i saw your post on the week 17 about that journal your bought, its sounds great.. i have been keeping a little note book with my feelings every since i found out i was pregnant BUT its just a plain old note book so i would really like to get that journal you were talking about... Where did you get it from? One book that i LOVE is "what to expect when your expecting" my dr suggested that i go buy it at my first visit.. i was expecting it to be a very techinal book with dr terms that would bore me to death BUT i LOVE that book.. every little pain i have felt that worried me, ITS IN THERE. It has excersise tips for before and after the birth, all kinds of stuff! I carry it around in my purse and if i ever have any free time away from the house i read it. Another book that i LOVE is BELLY LAUGHS: The Naked Truth about Pregnancy by Jenny McCarthy. It take all the "embarassing" things about pregnancy and makes them SOOO funny. Its a great read either way BUT it is espically great if you are having a down in the dumps kinda day... you will laugh so hard you may have an embarassing pregnancy moment and pee in your pants... i would love that book even if i wasnt pregnant BUT since it is about pregnancy its great... So, how is your pregnancy going so far? Have you found out what your having yet? I didnt get to find out i was having a bouncy baby boy until i was 20 weeks but i see that alot of women are finding out quite early! I had my glucose test this past wednesday to check for gastional diabeties and i PASSED THE TEST! I was so excited! They did find in my blood work that my iron level is still low even though i have been on a new pre-natal for a little over month to bring my iron level up so now i am taking the pre-natal with extra iron AND a iron tablet... BUT dr. didnt seem to concerned.. he said my iron level doesnt effect the baby to much, it mostly effects me and my energy level so i am hoping that now i am on the full iron pills i will actually have some energy to get the nursery finished.... Anyways, you should deff get the belly laughs book... i guarantee you will love it.. i got mine at books-a-million for like $10 or $15 dollers then the "what to expect when your expecting" book i got a wal-mart for around $15 dollers i think!

New pics up!

I totally understand your comment on 16wk forum about luke warm reinforcement! These dr's have a way of making you on edge with nerves! But take it all in stride and just remember that man is not GOD and Drs go by what they read in school. All will be fine! Hugs and congrats on your pregnancy momma!

syoung323 - Sunday, 17 August
Hello, thank you very much i see we are due date buddies best wishes have a happy & healthy pregnancy!

emmaflower987 - Saturday, 16 August
um... about that burst of energy.. i am still waiting on that to come lol! BUT i must say once i finally got past the morning sickness and was able to keep my pre-natal vitimans down i have felt alot better... BUT havent gotten that so called burst of energy lol!!! Another channel i like to watch is discovery health.. they also have several baby shows on there... "Deliver Me" which i think comes on on Tuesday nights and "Maternaty Ward" and "The Baby Diaries" and "Birth Day" and there are several others... BUT i must say that they are not has "Easy" on the eyes as the shows on TLC... the ones on TLC are all happy and the delivery goes SO smooth.... well on The Discovery Health channel they often show labors that are ALOT more difficult and when i see things like that it scares me half to death lol! So i think i will stick to watching my TLC lol!!

emmaflower987 - Friday, 15 August
hey! i am from week 25 BUT i saw your post on week 15 about the shows "bringing home baby" and "a baby story" and i LOVE those shows too! I didnt get to watch them today... i was gone all morning so i missed them then.. THEN around lunch i remembered that they came back on in the afternoon and i forgot all about it! Guess ill have to wait until tomorow! Another show that i LOVE on TLC is John and Kate plus 8! this is my first pregnancy so alot of times i get REALLY worried.. then that show comes on and i see Kate and John with their twin girls and the sextulplits (sp?) and i think to myself "ok, if they can handle that.. me and my boyfriend can handle one" lol! How is your pregnancy going so far?

allrass730 - Sunday, 10 August
I'm not the healthiest person on earth and normally a bacon cheese burger or fried chicken would really hit the spot but it's been weird because ever since I found out I was pregnant all my cravings have been really healthy food. I hardly even drink pop anymore. If I do it's sprite zero.

allrass730 - Saturday, 9 August
Wow, I went back and read the comments people made after I left the one saying that b&g were fattening and artery clogging and apparently it upset some girls. I didn't think that making a comment about food would get such a rise out of everyone! Man, hormones suck :)

allrass730 - Saturday, 9 August
I just don't know how anybody is eating them! I have to eat really light stuff to avoid getting sick. Just the thought of B&G make me feel a little nauseous :)

km-dickson - Sunday, 3 August
Oh yeah, I saw it and loved it. I had a hospital birth with my son and hated the experience, so this time we're going with a midwife at a birth center. No epidural, but also no unnecessary IVs, much more relaxed environment, can eat/drink during labor, etc. We're excited! When you first get to the main site, if you click on "week by week" at the top, you can see the very latest comments. That's how I look at the most recent posts. :)

thanks....sorry for the "impending doom", but nobody told me that might happen, and it shocked the sh-t out of me when it happened for the first time at the office...just passing on the good news...karma, y'know....

dasha - Wednesday, 16 July
hey happytobeprego. re: the sneezing thing, just wait. starting around week 23 or so, if I sneezed and tried to hold it in, I'd pee myself a little...:o) not cool! my advice is to just brace your hands on something, and let fly!

sara-in-oregon - Sunday, 13 July
Hey, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Sara (week 17) and I live in Beaverton too. I also love traveling, hiking and photography! Terrible morning sickness kept me from doing much the last 3 months or so, but zenmarmot (also in beaverton and wk 17) and I have been talking about getting together to go hiking. Interested?
