havingababyinmay--I look at it this way, if your doctor did it (membranes), it can't be bad... he/she would get sued if it were. Your baby is fine, stop worrying (it holds up labor!), and get excited for your little one!

oh yeah, nervous for sure. the fear of the unknown is what is getting me the most! are you still due on the 22nd? as much as i want to meet him, i kinda want him to stay in at least awhile longer :) guess we need to prepare!!!

Hey there,
Imagine having this network back then, i wouldve known so much more. I didnt even tell anyone i was pregnant until i was 6 months so i think i "avoided" a lot of symptoms. I have no regrets, it was a good situation and my son is AWESOME, i feel really lucky to have had him then and as my little partner now. The one good thing about being young is you're naive and "uneducated", dont know whats about to hit you, even in labour i was so determined and stubborn to prove myself!!! That i can and AM DOING THIS!! I was powerful and invincible, now im scared and vulnerable of labour!! LOL. It is such a different experience this time though. I love being pregnant and feel really well. Trying to embrace this last bit of being "me" and doing what i want, being able to run errands and go places without a lot of fuss, and sleep whenever. Life is about to change.

yeah, this entire site is full of ladies with entirely different medical care. how do all of these medical schools produce doctors with such different practicing styles and standards? i have my last appointment friday...wonder what in the world i need to go again for? anyway, i am just hoping for an easy induction on sunday! not much time left for either of us!!! stay well! ...and good luck!

They are inducing me cause my blood pressure is going up and I've started to gaim more weight than she would like. She said I am at a risk for toxemia and she doesn't wanna risk that. I'm due on Monday anyway so this is going to be a great mothers day gift!!!

He was sleeping great until last night. I think he is having a growth spurt or something. He was wanting to eat every hour... UGH! I am pumping. He wouldn't latch. I think i have funny nipples or something bc my first wouln't latch either. The lactationh consultant insists that it is bc they are preemies. Who knows? By pumping I am not frustrated and neither is he. I did the same for my first son too. Good luck and hopefully when I check in on you guys you will have gone into labor:)

LOL Yes it is a great feeling not being pregnant. I do miss the anticipation of wondering what he will look like and how he will sleep. You know... all the normal things you worry about. But, other than that I am glad to be back in my skinny jeans:) It is also fab being able to bend over and to sneeze and cough without peeing myself. How are you feeling? Are you dilated at all?

I saw you are not circumcizing your boy and I CONGRATULATE YOU FOR THAT!! No country has this huge rate of circumcized children, and there are no problems what so ever. I am East European and this is definitively not something that is done in Europe either.......

I'm ok, today is my 1st day at 39 weeks. I go to the doctor tomorrow from what she said last Thursday if I hadden had my lil' guy she'll induce me on Monday which is 2 days before my due date. My back hurts worse than ever I really feel like crap and I'm so ready to get him out. Yeah I thought about the enjoying my time without a newborn but hey I rather just have him and not hurt all day long lol. I'm ready to lose some weight I've gained so much and I know it's my fault , I'm a stay at home mom and wife and I love junk food LOL. When do you go back to the doctor? Will the doctor check to see if your dialated?

I feel really fat too! My pregnancy is going perfectly. Our health couldn't be better. My patience is running thin though! I want to be done and be my old self again! Are you having a boy or a girl?

yeah i have been drinking a lot of water and am going to try to take a shower when my hubby gets home. I don't want to make a big deal out of nothing as I am thinking this was brought on by stress but I am just not feeling better. I have no other signs like the blody show or loss of the mucus plug. I may call them if I don't feel better in a few hrs. is that a new photo you posted? I like it.

YEah, I've been going WEEKLY for these last 2 weeks. Maybe they will check me, because I've been getting allot of BH contractions and pressure and also some sharp pains in my cervix area off and on. We'll see what they say!

Good to know! My pregnancy is going pretty well. Im jealous that you get to meet your baby so soon! I am just barely looking pregnant, so even though I know its for real, it still seems pretty far off. I dont know how tall you are, but I am 5'10'' so I wonder if I will ever be big and round :)
