Monday, 5 May Im in week 23 and this is my first pregnancy... when your belly is as big as yours, does your belly hurt? At 23 weeks I barely have a bump. I think I have had a bigger belly from Thanksgiving than I have right now! penelopiepink -

I cant believe that you do not have stretch marks. I am soooo jealous. pinkb00h -
Monday, 5 May Hey - just read your post. And you don't have to stay on a super strict diet if you're breast feeding. I think you basically just have to watch the foods that a lot of kids become allergic to - nuts, seafood, etc. Kind of eating what you want while breastfeeding kind of flavors your breast milk, and it lets your baby experience different kinds of tastes, and it gets them used to things, so they won't be as picky when they're older. Can't remember where I read that. I think it may have been a breast feeding pamphlet I was given from the hospital. Good luck! And don't worry too much, it'll work out for ya :) bdubb -
Monday, 5 May I feel a lot of pressure as well. I want a drink so bad right now and it the thought of going another 6 plus months uggh. I am shooting for six months but we can only do the best we can. How have you been feeling? You pretty much ready for the baby to get here? missannie -
Monday, 5 May i'm having some of the same reservations about breastfeeding.... in fact, as of this very moment, i'm STILL not sure if i'll go through with it. i know that "breast is best", etc, etc, etc. but something inside me just doesn't feel comfortable with it. and i've also had a lot of pressure from friends and relatives, however, they are MY boobs, it's MY baby, and MY decision. we'll have enough stress and worries after the baby is born.... adding one more might just do me in! i'm hoping to try it for awhile, but have allowed myself to stop whenever i can't handle it anymore. don't let others pressure you... you will have enough to worry about! and you'll make a great mommy either way. :) hope everything else is going well for you! Im feeling good. i have felt a couple new feelings in the uterus area. cntractions? i have no idea! im anxious and excited and i hope it is actually some progress! have a great rest of the weekend. also, sex has become very comfortable, when before it felt very uncomfortable and tight. could this be a sign of something? i hope! ps- cute wedding pic leeleemo -
Sunday, 4 May Hello, she did an ultrasound after she checked for dilation and also checked for the head position, when she didn't notice it, she ordered an ultrasound and the baby's hand is above the head. So I don't think the baby is in breech position. I think there is still time she could still move her hand to allow the head to engage I would think anyway. Thanks for inquiring. I think I'll call the clinic just to clarify. I hope you are having a healthy pregnancy, congrats! :) mommyballs -

Tuesday, 29 April this baby moves too much, i can't read her anymore. Her position is ALWAYS different everytime we go. (breech, transverse, vertex, sometimes posterior and others anterior).. I go back tomorrow, and we'll determine where she is at now......Hoping she is head down.... MariaC -
Tuesday, 29 April LOL, I've woken myself up with the odd snort too!! I think sometimes that I should be really embarrassed but then sleep takes over!!! LOL!! xXx Carlys-momma -
Tuesday, 29 April To be honest, I practically begged him to induce me last week lol. I have been having major trouble with my BP and have been diagnosed with preeclampsia. I am so miserable from the swelling and hurting all the time and my husband is a nervous wreck from worrying. I really didn't want to be induced like have him break my water or give me a pit drip or anything because if she isn't ready, then that's a higher chance I will have to have a C-section which I DO NOT want. So we are hoping that this will put me into labor naturally. Carlys-momma -
Tuesday, 29 April Hey there. I read your post about stripping the membranes and I am having it done tomorrow. Sometimes the doctors will do it to get you to go into labor. He will start a normal exam and then wipe his fingers in a circle around the bag of waters. It's supposed to release prostoglandins which your body naturally creates when it goes into true labor. It is a more natural way to induce labor than a pitocin drip or anything like that. Hopefully it will work for me and I can hold my little girl this week!! sherryh -
Tuesday, 29 April Congrats to you and baby! I was reading your comment in 37 wks about the doc. stripping the membranes, did you have that done? I tryed but it hurt like you know what, so she had to stop. I see you have a 13 yr. old daughter wow, mine will be 13 in July. lilliamsmama -
Monday, 28 April Thanks! I wish that I would have actually joined sooner. Oh well, better late than never! Good Luck with your little one. I can't wait to be done...although, now I hope that he waits until after Mother's day. How spiteful is that...and I'm normally not like that at all, maybe it is the hormones :-)
Have a great night! dreambaby16 -
Sunday, 27 April They are doing non-stress test on me because of my age...42...just put me on the fetal monitor for about 15 mins...I'm not complaining, makes me feel better to know he's doing ok.
good luck to you and your new baby boy. tiffado -
Sunday, 27 April No it is actually painful. And my doctor knows! There was no hiding the way it felt!!! I had two different docs do it too-so I know it isnt just the way one did it. From what Im reading though I am not alone....I just hope it gets better when things begin to loosen.... babyboi3 -
