hi everyone! i am married to the most wonderful man in the world, and we just had our beautiful baby boy on Jan 21! he was exactly 1 week early!

i havent been updating this as much as i would have liked to. just feel so busy and tired all the time... i'll try to keep updating though since its almost the end already!!!

we went to the dr today and so far so good! still no maternity leave yet. boo. ha ha. luckily i havent really had many contractions lately. i had some bleeding a few weeks ago, but everything's fine now. the heartbeat is still strong! i can't believe i'm going to the dr every 2 weeks already! this pregnancy has gone by sooooo fast! i've been feeling a lot better (not as much aches and pains)... but i'm sooo tired all the time now! as soon as i get home from work i'm ready for bed already! i'm hoping to have another prenatal massage soon (i think i've earned it!)... my hubby is wonderful and is happy to treat me to one every month for the remainder of the pregnancy! we've also been working on the nursery! we painted the room, built the crib, and we're starting to organize it a little better. there's a lot left to do and so little time! my husband's grandma bought the crib for us, and his parents are very generous and are buying our changing table for us! they offered to pay for whatever furniture we have left to buy. i think we only really need that and a nice rocking chair! his mom already bought a ton of clothes for the little man! they're VERY excited that we're having a boy! he's gonna be the first grandchild on my side and my hubby's side! our son is going to be spoiled rotten! >.<

just had a 4d u/s done today! my baby boy is soooo rascal! he kept trying to hide his face w/ his arms and legs! but he's so cute! he looks just like daddy! i'm posting pics! he also got angry at the tech for bothering him! lol. he's gonna be such a handful i think... he has a cute pic where he's smiling w/ a little dimple in his cheek! aww. he's gonna be spoiled rotten lol.

i cant believe christmas is over already! its almost the new year! time has flown by so fast. this pregnancy has gone by so fast... which is both good and bad. i'm glad to be over the morning sickness and that i get to see my son soon, but as much as i complain about my aches and pains, i'll sure miss it! i love feeling him kick and move and hiccup inside me! and i'll miss hearing his heartbeat at the dr! well the dr says his head is low already, but i'm not dilated yet. i hope he comes early b/c the longer it takes him, the more i freak out about going into labor! i want to get it over with already. lol. scary. and of course i can't wait to meet my beautiful little man! my husband is so excited. he reads a story to him just about every night before we go to bed. isnt that so cute? speaking of going to bed... i hate going to bed these days. i get so sore and uncomfortable! everytime i turn over my whole body is sore and stiff and sometimes i can hear/feel my hips pop or something. crazy. then i have to get up and go to the bathroom, and it is so sore just to get up and out of bed. thats the only time i waddle... after laying down or sitting down for too long and my body gets stiff. lol. at least the rest of the time i walk pretty normally. i have only 8 more work days until i go on maternity! i'm so excited! i love my job, but i'm just so tired all the time now. i just need a little break before the baby comes. lol. my coworkers are throwing me a baby shower next week. can't wait! then my friends are having one the week after i believe. we had one w/ my family already. then after those, we can finally finish buying everything for the baby. we also have our hospital bag packed and in the car... except for the toiletries which i have packed in a separate bag. we also have his diaper bag ready, and a bag w/ pillows and blankets for us for the hospital. i think we need a suitcase! we packed a lot... lol. i may have overdone it but i still dont feel like i'm done packing. maybe my bag is too small... lol. my husband saw it and was like "you're only going to be there a couple of days!" lol. oh well, better to be over prepared than unprepared, right? well best of wishes to you all! we're almost there!!! so exciting and scary too! happy new year everyone! :)

i had my baby boy! i gave birth on jan 21 at 5:35 pm. he weighed 7 lbs 3 oz, and he was 20 in long. i started having contractions every 5 min apt at about 2 that morning, and by 4 it was between 3 and 5 min apart. we went got to the hospital around 5 am, and i was already 4 cm dilated. they gave me fentinel to help w/ the contractions, which only worked for a little while... luckily i got my epidural fast! but once i got the epidural, my contractions slowed and then they couldnt detect them anymore. they broke my water to try to internally detect the contractions, but they still had trouble detecting it. they gave me pitocin, but the baby didnt like it very much, so they had to give me oxygen for the baby.. they gave me a break from the pitocin and then lowered the dose after. finally i had the urge to push and he was facing the wrong way! they went in and tried turning him around. i think that was the worst part of the labor! that was sooo sore. but after that he was good to go! so after about 40 min of pushing, my beautiful baby boy was born! and he's been such a good little baby! well, so far anyway! ;)
