Hi, don't worry the tummy will eventually tighten up. Mine is still pretty flabby. It just takes time for all that skin to shrink back up. I guess some moms have a harder time than others depending on your skin type. It is pretty early though. This is my 3rd and after the last baby I gave up and got rid of all my clothes at 3 months and thought I would never get my body back. In some ways I didn't completely, but things do improve with time. It helps to do abdominal exercises when your dr gives the okay. That will help hold things in.

I had a c-section so there was a lot of swelling, it took at least a few weeks for me not to look pregnant anymore. My baby is now 5 weeks old and I am finally starting to regain my shape. My stomach is still some what flabby and even hangs over the top of my jeans when I am sitting down. If I hold it in it just looks wrinkled ha ha ha. I have been told it goes away. In all seriousness my tummy is already starting to look flatter just kind of soft too. My belly button has not gone in all the way yet either. I figure once my belly button is back in then that is the stomach I am left with. Make sense? I would plan on looking about 5 months pregnant when you leave the hospital.

I have tons of stretch marks that I didn't even see until I had my baby. My belly is slowly going back, but it's still puffy. I've always heard that it takes at least 9 months.

My son is 10 weeks today so Im reporting on my "tummy status"..... I only have about 5 pounds to go to be at my pre-pregnancy weight. My stomach is by no means back to normal, but it's not bad. I think the worst part is that the muscles are so weak, that it makes my insides sort of bulge outwards more than they used to (if that makes sense). I am back into my jeans and everything, I just dont have the flat stomach I used to. I think it will take about 10 more weeks to get back to my normal. Good luck with everything!

Hi there! I have got quite a lot of stretch marks too but have used bio oil and they have faded alot. tummy is still a bit saggy 13 weeks later but not too bad, some exercise will fix it , like sit ups or something. Good luck!
