Well I am pregnant!! Yayyyy! I have waited 4 1/2 years for this! All I can ask for is a healthy baby! I thank God everyday for this blessing! My Husband and I could not be any happier! Congrats to all of you out there who are enjoying the same blessing!!
Welcome to my Pregnancy diary!
May 14 2008; Not out of the woods yet! I just got back from my 1st appointment. They are sending me to St. Lukes for High-Risk pregnancy to see a speacialist. I go on Tuesday. They will determing if my cervix needs to be sutured closed and they will have my husbands results for CF test. We did hear the hearbeat today and of course I cried! I will have an U/S Tuesday as well. I was hoping to have an U/S today but there was not one avail and I will have one on Tues! Bummer! I am thrilled to have heard the heart beat though! Sounded strong!!! That is all I can ask for at this point, so all in all today was a good day for me!!! May 2 2008: Not so bad! Well I have had some mild nausea and only raced to the toilet once! WooHooo, hopefully that will be the extent of my sickness! I have been tired mostly morning and eve! I find I dont want to get up and cant wait to go to bed hahaha. My next Dr. Appointment is May 14th. We will be discussing the option to close my cervix for the duration of my pregnancy. I am all for it and hope it works! My Hormones have definately been up! I can't get enough of my husband and he cant get away fast enough hahaha! I cried during a severe storm lastnight! I have been having bad hot flashes! haha Im a mess! But I love every minute of it! Well can't wait till the 14th!
April 15, 2008: How I got to this stage.
Well I have hade a few road blocks in my travels towards parenthood! I suffered from a bout with reproductive cancer that lead to the removal of half ny cervix and the thoughts of not ever being able to carry to term. This has been overcome by a procedure where they sew the cervix closed. So there is great hope now. I have been trying to concieve for over 4 years and to my dismay nothing. I finally decided to go to fertility Dr.s and found that I am a carrier for CF (Cystic Fibrosis). I was still uncertain if I wanted to do any fertility drugs, but low and behold all I needed to do was stop worrying about it and enjoy life. Here I am now pregnant!
The first day of my LMP was Feb 27, 2008!
Positive Test #1 was April 1, 2008
Positive Test #2 was April 2, 2008
Positive Test #3 was April 8, 2008 at Dr. office
(Why so many tests? My husband wanted to be sure before he got too excited!! haha I love him!!)

That was a veryyyy cute blog. i loved it. Ugh girl i was in such pain this morning u wouldnt believe i thought i was gona have the baby on the bathroom floor lol. turned to be false contractions yet again. Im going to babies r us. do some walking around maybe i wont have to be induced after all. How you feeling?

*Yawn* I's so tierd, and sick of being pregnant. FEELS LIKE FOREVER. Last night i was having some pains but they were only false labor, as soon as i got up and walked around they went away. So tomorrow is the BIG day. Lol when you see the baby its going to look SO BIG but s/he will rly be small. Ask for the sex too. even if its not 100% sure its still nice to have a little heads up. Start thinking about those baby names. Well my love have a wonderful day. Talk to you again Soon

Good luck on the u/s i know you must be sooo anixous. Remember to get some pics to post. i was so amazed by the sono i totally forgot to get my first pics of the baby. lol so dont make that mistake. As for lil Ryan, i think im going to either have to be induced or c-section since he is a heavy boy already. but as soon as he is here and i have some pics you'll be first to see <3 Have a great day hun

Really? U r only 9 weeks! Thats fast. I havent been well lately...been having nausea but no vomit! Im only two months. My mom says some women dont have nausea anymore after three months. I hope that happens to me lol cause I hate this feelings!

OMG... yes i have been spit on... by one lady who called me a baby killer. It was very hard not to punch this lady in the face. Lol i wanted to so bad. you have no idea. Well im glad the baby predictor gave u good news i really hope it is a boy :) that would be cool

Aww thank you :) that really means a lot. There were so many times where people have spit on me and said some pretty wrong things. But its always good when someone lets me know that after everything I've done someone appricates it. And that really means a lot to me. So thank you.
As for the baby, this really seems to be the year of the Boy's so maybe you might be lucky :) have you ever heard of the Chinese lunar calendar. it was something my sister showed me when i was about 2 months and its supposed to predict what the gender of your baby will be. due to your age and the month of conception. and it was right for me and for all her 3 kids. pretty weird. maybe you should check it out. Might give you some hope ;) if not... its just a stupid myth anyways. Heres a link... its pretty fun to test the theory.

Aww thank you. Congrats on your little one as well. I know you must me so excited and cant wait for your little one to come. just wait until your down to your last weeks. As for the Hot Flashes i have them too my husband gets so upset when i leave the thermostat at 62 degrees. All i can say is wear one of your husbands white Tees to bed nothing else, keep a leg or two out of the blankets when your going to bed it should help. it worked for me. Good Luck on your little one you deserve it!!!! :) are you going to find out the gender?
