Hi! I am pregant for the second time. I have a 5 yr old boy who is my angel. I have been diagnosed with high blood pressure with this pregnancy and the doctor wants to do ultrasounds every 4 weeks because of it. I had one done last week and I have never seen a baby so active in an ultrasound....it was awesome! We are not 100% positive but they say if they had to guess they would say it's a girl!! We will find out definitely next month. Either way....we are happy. My son wants a boy but said he will be happy with a girl too. ;o)

We went today for my 20 week appt. We had the u/s done and we found out we are having a girl! Yay! We are happy. My son wanted a boy but said he will be happy with a girl as well. She is so active. The lady told us we have a feisty one. She moved around so much it took the u/s lady 3 different times before she could finally get the hearbeat monitored correctly. It was awesome to see how clear everything was. We are going to do the 4D at the end of May! Yay!! It `s a Girl!!! Her name will be Arianna Nicole

beckaboo - Monday, 21 July Oh good! Hopefully we will have our babies the same day! Thanks for sharing!!
skyeandlee - Friday, 18 July You know my apointment was supposed to be at 9 am yesterday, this girl in my birthing class decided to have her baby and I got to videotape it! Well since I was there my midwife gave me a guick prenatal at this girls house in the living room so I felt really weird asking about the burning lol! I did ask my friend who had her baby yesterday if she had gotten that too and she said yes and thinks it's just because of all the extra blood flow to that area. I'm going to stick to him just being on top of me because I don't get pains when we do it that way. Lets hope for full moon babies!! Watching her have her baby was THE most intense thing I have ever seen. Made me kind of scared but also excited because they DO come out eventually!
skyeandlee - Monday, 14 July Hey thanks for responding! I was tested for a UTI like 3 weeks ago and it was -. but I can't remember if I was having that problem then too. It's so annoying!! I keep reading sex speeds up having the baby so of course I'm like hey lets try this, but then well it's so uncomfortable. I have another midwife visit on thursday so I'll ask her again and let you know what she says.
megbug - Saturday, 14 June Thanks for the reply, I'll definately try that.
SandraD - Sunday, 1 June Thanks for sharing your story with me. It is still all up in the air. When I had my first son I did tear while giving birth to him and I had gotten an infection afterwards and because of that I had to stop breast feeing because of the meds I had to go on. And I was in labor with him from 6pm on a Sunday night and didnt have him till 7:53 that next day on a Monday. So it was pretty long, or at least for me. Also as you mentioned you did try to have yours natural and then things changed. I dont want to start to go through all that and put stress on the baby then in the end have the c-section anyway. I had the gatric bypass so I know how to deal with a wound in the tummy area as far as healing, but i know the c-section cut is so much lower then what I had before. Your story has been very helpful and thank you for sharing with me. I am sure I wont decide till the time comes.
AlishaMommyof2 - Saturday, 10 May Thanks for the comment. That makes sense. I guess my cousin who is pregnant is feeling it too. I won't worry so much!! :) NOTE: Older messages are compressed to speed up the website.
