Thank you for your response. I already know it's way too close to my due date to travel and it wasn't just that that's stressing me. It's the fact that I'm being told I am going to ruin the wedding because my son was suppose to be in the wedding and I won't send my kids without me. They act like me sending my kids so far away without me and on a plane is a ridiculous fear. No one in my family is close and my brother really doesn't have any family from our side attending, but his Fiance has like 150. I just feel if I was the the tables were turned no one would risk or make any extreme sacrifices for me.

My husband and I had a serious heart to heart this weekend about what will not be tolerated in our marriage. Things are looking better. I cannot thank you enough for your comforting words of support. It means so much to me to have people understand where I'm coming from, because often during my pregnancy I just feel TOO emotional. It's good to know that I'm not the only one feeling this way. :) Thanks, more than you know.

Nope...no baby yet! And No contractions! I'm dying!! Everyone told me that second babies don't normally come late, but I guess mine do! I'm guessing that I will go till the end of next week when they induce me

Well, I break the leaves up into pieces that are a good size to nestle them around the breasts. Then I give them all a good wash, and place them in a plastic bag. I then keep them in the fridge (not freezer), and they are also nice and cool when you use them, which also helps relieve them. Personally, I say that it is not mind over matter, because my engorgement was so bad, as I said I got mastitis every time (and I did also express a little by hand from the nipple when it was really bad), but the cabbage leaves DID make a difference for me.

I was wondering what if we have diarrea, is it not supposed to be one of the signs that your are in labor? what if it sprays everywhere? My SIL said she she had a BM with one of her kids but did not know it until my brother told her!

Thanks so much for your reponse. What exactly does AU refer to? I'm not familiar with that one....

Yes this is my hubby's first however to make a long story short he messed up when I was 3 months along and now is in prison fro the next 2 years so he is missing everything. It was all domestic but very serious. This hospital stuff wears on you some days. I just had a 30 week sonogram a few hours ago and to mine and the Dr's surprise he is weighing in a 4lbs 8 oz which they said is very large. I am now scared but glad he is healthy.....Hope everything is going good with you and your pregnancy!!

Michele

Well I went to the hospital last night and they monitored me and said I had about 4-5 contractions in an hour so they gave me a shot to stop them, told me no sex and get rest and drink plenty of fluids, then finally got to go home about 6 hrs later!

*pregoliz* - Friday, 21 Mar
Yeah, they did a hormone test to make sure that I wasn't miscarrying... I am just worried. I know that I didn't have the exact date of my last period. Yeah it was hard to learn that I was a MONTH behind what they originally said. Well I am waiting for the results of the tests... Lets hope for the best!

Hi Heather - To answer some of your questions: I definitely think that acupuncture is perfectly safe & beneficial all throughout pregnancy. There are many different points that are contraindicated during pregnancy, mostly because they have a function that moves blood or cause things to move down. Obviously you want the blood and the baby to stay right where they are during pregnancy! To become an acupuncturist, you have to get a Master's in Oriental Medicine (usually a 4 year program) and be licensed by your state and have national certification. It's pretty rigorous and the end result is that most acupuncturists really know there stuff- including all of the dos and donts for treating pregnant women. The problem with a chiropractor is that depending on what state you're in, they might do acupuncture under a special rule that allow chiropractors and other MDs to perform acupuncture without going through the complete program. Sometimes it's as little as 100 hours (compared to thousands for a non-doc)! Definitely check your chiropractor's credentials as an acupuncturist and ask him or her how familiar they are with all of the contraindications during pregnancy.

As far as the headaches go, usually acupuncture works pretty well. However, there is a lot of variance depending on the severity, how long you've had them etc etc. I got into acupuncture because I had endometriosis and I went regularly for 4 months before I saw a significant change! But now I have no symptoms, it's completely gone. Do you already take an Omega 3 Fatty Acid supplement? Not only are they good for your baby, but they have an anti-inflammatory action when taken in high does (> 5grams) that could help your headaches.

Hope this helps! Please feel free to ask me anything else.

Without a doubt they can definitely hear well in there, my son (toilet training) slammed the porcelain toilet seat down on Sunday and bub nearly jumped through my rib cage!! Poor little thing was probably sound asleep.. .

Thanks for your message. Was a huge relief. 21 days to go, head still down and ready for action. Best wishes and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy!

Hey here is link to the recipe that I always follow.

http://www.exploratorium.edu/cooking/pickles/recipe-fried_pickles.html

Just make sure you use either crisco or veg oil to fry them in. I used corn oil once and they coating kept fallin off. They are so good. I usually just get a jar of the dill whole ones and slice them up then batter and fry. I love them and you can't find them in PA.

Thank you so much for your opinion on both the childbirth and child support issues. Things are still at a stage where there's a lot of confusion, so any input is appreciated! Thanks again!
