Ugh! I had a yeast infection 1 weeks post-part and i was miserable! It lasted a good 4 weeks! I thought it would never go away and i was so uncomfortable! Not only did I have stitches but I also had an infection to worry about!

We haven't had sex yet either but we have talked about the next baby....i think my husband is scared of the "crazy pregnant lady!!" Hahahah!

I'd be pregnant now if I could convince my husband to come closer than 2 feet from me! lol! He says I'm way to fertile and he wants to wait! Hahaha! I'm so ready for baby #2!!

Hi there,

So sorry to hear Zeke caught a cold. I remember my son caught a cold at 6 weeks and it was terrifying. So far I've had great luck with Alex. I was really nervous when she was born because her big brother had a nasty cough at the time, but she never caught it. Now we are finally past the 40 day milestone, so I'm feeling a lot less nervous about her. I hope to hold off on going back to work until the day after Labor Day. I will only be getting the maximum amount of state disability which is probably less than 25 % of what I normally make, so it's not going to be easy. I might take a loan out of my 401k to make ends meet next month. My schedule is very flexible. As an attorney, I don't have to keep any set hours or check in with anybody or anything. I come and go as I please. I do tend to have tons of meetings and travel to San Francisco a lot for hearings and stuff, but other than that, I can set my own schedule as long as my work gets done. My plan is to show my face at the office between 9-5, but take a few hours during the day to go home to nurse at lunch and go downstairs to our office gym in the afternoon. Then I can work a couple hours from home in the evening after I put my kids to bed. That's what I did with my son and it worked out very well--I just didn't get very much sleep, but I feel it's worth that sacrifice to have more time for my children. Do you have to go back to work?

my mil only had my hub, and she still thinks she knows everything. she seriously hates when i have to feed him, like she said to my hub when i was in the other room, i dont think he is hungry he wasnt even crying. right, im just making it up! i wish she bf so she would understand that sometimes they eat every 5 minutes. as for my cats hair cuts, we bough a pair of grooming clippers from petsmart, the cheapest ones they had, it was like 100$, and we just shave him down in the bathroom. hes so used to it that he doesnt flip out, just tries to casually walk away and off the counter. i wanted to get pregnant the same day my lil one was born! i still cant wait to have another one. i love the gum smiles!! although i cant wait for thoes few little teeth to pop threw!! i love babies. :)

i have to shut the doors too. my cat loves to sleep under the crib. i find him there all the time. hes allowed in our room, but he has a cat bed that he always uses. does your cat spray in the same spot?? if so you should try some moth balls, until the baby is moving around the house. as for shedding, baths and brushing help. i shave my cat sometimes, but he likes it, if your cat doesnt maybe a groomer will do it. does your baby look at the cat yet?? mine doesnt yet. its tough having a colic baby, but you honestly get used to the crying and you get threw it. i mean there isnt much you can do other then try to comfort them. my son loves when i hold him and bounce on my exercise ball...good work out. i def want to have another baby, maybe when my son is a year ill try again..that is if the hub agrees :) you planning on having another??

im doing really good. my lil boy has colic so he cries alot. its sad. my cat is sdoing good, he is a lil unsure of the baby...kinda scared. he runs and hides in his bed when cameron starts to cry. its really funny. how are you?? and your kitty.

I feel for you! My little girl is 8 weeks and has had 2 colds - they are miserable!!!! I just keep using the bulb syringe and trying to clear her out and prop her up to sleep and use a vaporizer - I was really hoping having a baby when it was warm would be easy and she wouldn't get sick! Hang in there - it can only get better......I hope!!!! :)

Sounds like our babies are a lot alike. Alex is 12 lbs already too and she is super gassy and farts like a man too!

My first was intolerant of cow's milk. His stomach would get real hard and his whole body would tighten and crunch and he would fuss like he was an excritiating pain. He would also get a rash in his diaper area--not like a diaper rash, but red like if his own poop iritated his skin and it would go away quickly. Those symptoms were hard to miss. Alex doesn't like spicy hot foods. If I eat spicy hot food, she will vomit after her feeding. It's not like real vomit--it's like really watery milk with little bits of curdles. His doc thinks it's not really vomit since she basically throws up the undigested milk, but I call it vomit because it comes out in huge volumes and forcefully.

I am also in the same boat with Alex starting to get bored. All of a sudden, she is sleeping less and seems to want entertainment, but I run out of things to interest her. One thing that never fails though is to take her to look at trees. She loves to sit upright against my shoulder and look around. If I go under a tree she looks up in amazement at the contrast of the leaves against the sky. Try that with your lil man and let me know how it goes.

I'm glad you're enjoying bfing. I am too. I don't want to go back to work!

Well, with the ones I took. I just used something black to lay her on. I zoomed in with my camera so all you could see was her and the black behind her. I just took a few until I got a cute one. Then I just put them on the computer and made them black and white. I am sure I have a b & w setting on my camera, most of them do but I can't figure it out. So I have a program on my computer to do it. You can also lay them on a white blanket and it looks just as cute!

Thank you...I did them myself. I love playing with the camera!

I wish I could get him to stay up until 5am. He has to get up and go to work at 8am so that wouldn't work to well. Maybe on his next day off... Whenever that would be. Last night was better though. Cayden slept really well so I got an alright night of sleep. But uninterrupted would be lovely! Maybe some day soon!
