Oh Heidi, When they put that little angel in your arms tomorrow all of that will melt away. I am also nervous about the vaccinations but I can tell you that I have a perfectly healthy little girl who received all the vaccinations right on time like the doctors recommended. Maybe your doctor could use a little more tact and be a bit more kind in the way that he speaks to you. As for the labor and delivery...it is the scariest most painful thing that you will ever do but you just do it. It's crazy it's like you leave your body and you are just a machine. It is something that women are meant to do you will surprise yourself at how strong you are. Even if you freak out it will be only momentary just make sure that hubby has lots of ice chips for you. LOL good luck

Yeah--I'm still having some pains, but it's all false labor :( Boo.

Not really the baby blues - but I do miss being pregnant. I had a really hard pregnancy and I guess I completely missed out on the "joy of pregnancy" this time. I have 3 older children (ages 16, 14 & 12) and I LOVED being pregnant with them... I really felt like since this was such a hard pregnancy - and I HATED being pregnant at the time - that I would love to NOT be pregnant anymore... I was wrong... I think part of what you said also hits home for me... I have already experienced how fast they grow up being that I have older children - and now that she's 9 days old I feel like she's growing up too fast already... and thanks for the "baby girl is beautiful" comment... She definately is a doll!!! Good luck!!! If you wanna chat or have questions just let me know. :0)

my kitty is very unsure of the baby. he comes over all curious and sniffy like crazy and then runs away when the baby flails around. it is quite cute. we keep the babies room closed so that it stays warm in there and the ac doesnt get in, so he doesnt sleep near the baby. that stinks you cant have a water birth. i think its stupid when insurance companies tell you what you can and cannot do especially when it comes to the birth of your child. hopefully your labor goes well and your little one comes soon!!

Hi, I'm scheduled for the 21st. I'm not sure I'll make it that long. I see the doctor tomorrow morning, so we'll know more then! How are you feeling?

That is funny! Glad you are drinking it. Even if it doesn't necessarily bring on labor, it is supposed to be very good for strengthening your uterus and I have never heard or read anything negative about it. I would have also recommended "The The Salad" at Ciaoti Cafe to you too, but that restaurant is all the way in Studio City. My hubby and I just went for fun on our date night so we could at least say we've tried just about everything! :)

Have you tried drinking the raspberry leaf tea? That is one of the only things I did different this past week and I went from zero dialation and zero effacement and the baby being super high to being 3cms and 50% effaced in one week. I have no idea if it has anything to do with the tea or not, but it tasted good. I bought organic raspberry leaf tea at Whole Foods (you might be closer to Mother's) and I made three bags at a time with hot water, then chilled it and drank it as iced tea.

well things are slightly hectic right now, because my son stayed the night at his grandparents last night and my father forgot to buy the right milk, and being stubborn figured one night wont hyrt him, and gave it to him anyway, now i have Alexis attached to my boob every two hours and Drew unable to stay alseep because he has diarhea and an upset stomach. hard to change a runny diaper with one hand while holding a suckling infant to you with the other! lol, but i'll get him balanced out and all will be well...

i had a head ache for the first two days, but not a migraine, but i dont think it was from the hormone shift i was dehydrated SO BADLY during labor!

everything is good, no hubby though! not sure when i'll get that!

NumberFive - Thursday, 15 May
oh wow then i will thanks so much
