Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

Yay i look forward 2 our catch ups too! I'll find you on fb soon. Had a bad week took charlotte to baby clinic which she screamed throughout which was well stressfull and then found out she still hasnt regained her birth weight! :( HV advised to top her up with formula twice a day, but after 3 bottles in a row (i panicked think i should have spread them out a bit) she had the worse wind ever and cried all night it was awful. S ive got some dr brown bottles which have worked wonders though she needs the big girl teats cos she gets tired off the newborn ones. Also using infacol and gripewater! Feeding her with bottles late morning and afternoon then myself the rest of the time seems to be a good comprimise. Weigh in is nxt wed hope she breaks the scales :D She has grown very long instead of wide think she's going to be like her dad.

Get you daisy! I'm jealous! Gonna try that tip on pumping to stimulate more. Ru breastfeeding at all now? Charlotte goes for several days without pooing but it's normal for breastfed babies, is it hard when she does poo? charlottes r like water ewww!

ive not been able to buy much either just bought a fleecey winter baby grow for 6 months...it looks HUGE.

Hi Hellie, so good 2 hear from you! Glad 2 hear from someone else who is struggling with breastfeeding though i do hope things get better for you! I've had cracked nipples mastitis constant breast feeding and poor charlotte losing weight she's still not up to her birth weight poor thing and she suffers really bad from wind so using infacol every feed! Also considered giving it all up several times but charlotte didnt react well to formula either and was sick and windy. Wow just had to blurt out all my problems i feel a stone lighter :D She has settled down the last few days since i started with the infacol, she was sleeping through most of the night 12-5/6 then havin a small feed and sleepin until 9/10 but not sleepin for longer than 1/2 an hour during the day which was wearing me out! She's just woke up from a 3hour sleep which is a 1st! Glad one of us has got an angel cos she has been an absolute horror up until now...her big brother was sooo good i knew i wouldnt be lucky twice. Just out of interest how much r u getting off each boob when you express? I'm only getting 1 1/2 oz max which doesn't seem very much.
Lol know wot u mean about missing being pregnant,we wished it away at the end didnt we! Have you enjoyed shopping for Lana yet? She is gorgeous by the way, is she still as chubby? Charlotte lost her chubby face and has stretched out i cant wait for her double chin to return!

Your baby is a week old tomorrow! Time is flying bye! I see you had a section, i hope you are recovering ok, its hard when you have a little one to look after when you are recovering yourself. My boobs are in bits ive got cracked nipples and it murders every time she feeds and she is feeding a lot! We went on our 1st shopping trip today and she slept the whole way round in her sling, i treated myself to some new shoes...theres loads of sales on! I bought an outfit 6-9 months for her to grow into cos everything she has is only up to 3 months but 6-9 months looks massive! Has lana been re weighed this week? Charlotte lost 5oz and has regained 1/2 an oz, weigh in is monday so we'll see if this constant feeding is doing anything. Take care xxx

Well done you!!! Lol how bad is labour argh Your baby shares my birthday lucky lady. I had a girl too! Charlotte Annie weighing 7lb 15 oz and 56cm long, lots of dark hair and is very hungry...she's 1 week old today at 6.55pm. Time has flown bye, make sure you takeloads of pics they change sooo quickly it's great to look back on. Looking forward to hearing all about the arrival of your bundle of joy and you have to get some pics up really soon. I've posted my birth story on my page if you want a look, it's much easier 2nd time round so dont be put off having any more! :D What a thought Im of to order food shopping online now cos couldnt make it round the shops without her wanting to breastfeed!!! Hello,

just got back from midwives ALL TIGHTENINGS HAD STOPPED! They did a sweep!!! Was soo painful i nearly jumped off the bed They have given me an induction date for Monday if i don't deliver by then, but they seem confident that i will. Ive been having pains again since the sweep; hooray hope they stay this time! Midwife said my cervix had changed a lot since last week but its still far back. They did let me choose my induction date, i decided to avoid my birthday and give baby a chance on its own.

Aw i hate it when you try to kick things off and nothing happens, ive been reading aboput the negative affects of stress on labour starting its really bad. The adrenalin just knocks everything off. Last night i had my RL tea then put on some chill music 4 a while, than ran a bath with candles and pains started not long after i'd got out, im sure half of it was cos i was sooo relaxed.

If you want to see your midwife or your worried about babies movements at all just call the hospital and get checked out its worth it for peace of mind; however it is normal not to notice bubba until you just sit and chill sometimes. I had a kick chart with my son and it was a nightmare trying to remember when he had moved or kicked! I normally advise women to sit down and put their feet up and drink a cold drink quite quickly to stir baby, it usually works! Bummer about the induction but at least they gave you some warning, sometimes at my work they cancel on the actual day!

Oooh cant believe you had a boring night, perhaps try the relaxed pamper yourself approach tonight and see if it works for you. Ive still got everything crossed for you xxx

Morning, oh how happy am i, ive been having tightenings all night def mild labour pains...used my tens machine for a few hours but things have calmed down a little now. Im hoping that now im up and about things will kick off again; ive got a midwife appt @ 10 not sure whether to go if things are calm then i'll go she might start things off again for me Hope youve had an unsettled night in the nicest possible way! x

Oh no how disapointing! Though sat will b here b4 you know it and it sounds like your body is trying to do something; your not a failure at all i always think when its your 1st then your body hasn't done it b4 and takes time to get the hang of it Had to laugh about the constant txt etc...im sick of all the looks i get at school like OMG have you still not had that baby and tonight is the summer fair so i'm prepared for more smiling and the same replies
Hope your not baby sitting tomorrow you need to rest poor thing! Some people eh!
Don't think i'll go for induction for friday seems like im not giving babe a fair chance seeing as cain arrived 12 days over...though thinking about it i started at T+10 night niggling had slow labour through T+11 and he was born T+12 morning so i hope somethings going to happen on friday night if not b4. Not sure if they do inductions on the weekend at my hospital i'll have to find out tomorrow. They usually say 2nd children come earlier but it's not scientific.
I'm not seeing midwife until the afternoon tomorrow so i'll check in and tell you how ive gone on...i'll be logging on in the morn anyway to see how your nights been. Take care xxx

Hi there, after my mad busy spree yesterday i have got up taken ds to school then gone back to bed for 3 hours! SPD is bad today, did too much yesterday. Well no niggles, baby still moving well and just preparing for my sweep tomorrow! My friend called round this afternoon who is also a midwife, at her hospital they induce at 10 days over and no later if possible...do you know wot your hospital policy is? Do you have an induction date yet? Friday is T+10 hmmm am tempted to push for it but then again DS came at 12 days late argh wot to do ?! I bet you have been back to sleep after such an early start, try and keep up with your sleep if you can cos you dont want to be tired b4 labour even begins. Fingers, toes and all the rest crossed for us tonight xxx

Lol yes it's my belly, DS was off school with a cough and cold yesterday so we had a bit of fun with my makeup, was thinkin would be last pic of belly so lets have a laugh!
Hey great news about the 2cm dilated only 8 more to go!!! Thats great following a sweep i am VERY hopeful for you today and tomorrow.
I went for a walk up to the school this afternoon to encourage this bubba to make a move, it definately increased the pressure down there just hope thats kicks things off.
i hoovered my woodwork and all is well again, DP works nights so he was asleep b4 he could feel my wrath lucky 4 him!
Ooh wonder which date in July our baby's birthdays will be, surely the 9th at the very latest...this pregnancy has to end sometime! xxx

Oh I know how you feel, I really wouldn't want a C section..and I know I can't really say this until I've experienced the pain, but I think I can cope with it..My sister says you forget all about the pain as soon as they put the baby in your arms anyway :D Woo! =] Baby's facing downwards, kind of..but not engaged yet ;o

I got an appointment at 11am on Thursday at the hospital, so I think they'll do a sweep then..and if not, on monday at the medical center :P Oooh it hurts :P oh dears! :P Arhh I don't mind, I want this baby out as soon as possible! :P hehe thanks, good luck to you too! **labour dust!!**

Good morning helllie! Sorry to be a know it all but your loss has gone brown because it's old blood now. I dont even remember losing my mucous plug with my son so it must have happened in labour, so its quite normal not to have passed it yet. It doesnt mean the sweep hasnt worked cos your plug can only come out once you've started to dilate a little. Guess wot? I actually love my gross looking RL tea, had another phase of nesting and painted all the wood work in my hall and stairs late last night...and then DP goes and ruins my handy work by letting the dogs in there this morning !!! Theres flaming dog hairs stuck to my masterpiece MEN or my man anyway; if he had a brain he'd be dangerous! Week 41

Wow wot an eventful day! Oooh rough doctors, can make you bleed, hope its not too much though. Ive bought some RL tea but im putting off drinking it as it looks nasty Physio was good they've given me an elastic belt to wear and been told to do exercises, glad i wore big knickers too! Looks like our June babies are going to be July ones for definate and i'm off to break the 8 ball !!! x

men, cant do with em cant do without em!
How'd your sweep go??? I cant have my sweep until Thurs cos thats when i have my hospital appt, if i see midwives twice in one week they'll think i'm mental! So i have to be patient. I've had a call from the physio saying they can fit me in for an appt this afternoon at 3.40 i cant believe how lucky i am cos usually you have to wait weeks and its only been 3 days!!! I have heard horror stories that they make you strip to your pants and bend over facing away from them ...can you imagine! Im going hunting out my biggest pair of knickers! Apparently when you have physio you can be pain free for a few days after so im hoping labour follows soon after.
When i was in labour with cain his dad just slept in the chair the whole time and was not much use so i know wot its like to labour alone...he's pretty petrified about the birth and im not really bothered if he's there, i'd like him to be there soon after but probably be more of a hinderence than help during!
