I have an adorable 1 year old little boy and we are expecting twins due 9/13!!!
A little about me...
I just celebrated my 1 year wedding anniversary (June 14) with my wonderful husband Darrin. We conceived our first child around 2 weeks after our wedding and were in complete shock that it happened so quickly! Greyson came into the world on March 4, a little over two weeks early due to me developing preeclampsia. I was induced and ended up with a C-Section after pushing for a couple hours due to not much progress, my blood pressure and his heartrate dipping with each contraction. He was born perfectly healthy and is such a blessing! We are hoping to try for another one when he is around a year old!

I am having such a wonderful time. We leave tomorrow after we have breakfast :( Next weekend is Griffens birthday...I go thim something and friday night I am making him a cake!
SunnyMom - Thursday, 18 March Thanks mommies for all the wonderful bday wishes for Danny. :-) Poor little man has CROUP so he is a bit sick for his bday. The inlaws are coming this weekend to celebrate with us. I will then break the news of the twin pregnancy...I'll be 20 weeks, ha,ha! They will be shocked, can't wait! My sil is also 20 weeks preggers and she is coming too. Bet she will be so happy that we can be preggers together :-)
At Danny's 12 month app today he weighed 20lbs 13oz and is a whopping 32.5 tall! the doc had the nurse measure him again because she couldn't believe the growth spurt, ha,ha! He is tall and slim. His lead test was fine but he is slightly anemic so will stay on formula a bit longer and I need to give some foods with iron. But all else is good. Have a nice weekend everyone I will on be on the site because of the visitors. HUGS to you and your LOs , Sunny

mysurprise - Tuesday, 9 March How are you? I just wanted you to know that I'm thinking about you! :o)
SunnyMom - Tuesday, 9 March WE are doing OK. I just feel much further along than 18 weeks, more like 34 weeks...so many uncomfortable symptoms, huge tummy and already struggling to get up from the floor and waddling a bit. Very painful back. Indigestion, daily vomiting, etc etc...not fun...but happy to be this far :-) Happy and grateful. I don't take it for granted :-)

SunnyMom - Sunday, 7 March Hi mommies...thank you SO much for your input re the lead test...it is recommended if you live in a house that is older than a certain year, I forget what the year is now but our house was built in 1935, our pediatrician recommended it.....sadly for Danny he did not get away with a finger prick...they needed more blood because he was having an additional test done...SOOOOOO... my poor little monkey had a freaking needle draw from his arm and it was HORRIBLE! He cried already when the tourniquet was on because it was so tight...hubby had to hold him a special way...mommy kissed his tears away and told him it would be OK...he cried the whole time and it just broke my heart...must have taken about a minute or two but felt like FOREVER! He recovered pretty fast after but cried again in the evening so I gave him some Motrin. Gave him one dose of Motrin a half hour before the procedure too. I am SOOO glad it is over...it was just so sad :-(
SunnyMom - Saturday, 6 March mommies...have any of your LOs had a lead test??? Little Dandan has to go this morning...I wish I had written earlier. I think it will be a BLOOD DRAW. What does it entail? How best can I prepare him? A bit of Motrin? Please help!
