Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

i'm feeling pretty patient too. of course there's some pain and discomfort but first few months with a baby will surely bring their own challenges and exhaustion! i'm not even considering induction, he'll come when he's ready and i don't want to evict him before hand. besides i have to say my friends and family are taking great care of me and really enjoying the anticipation too. best of luck to you!

I am sorry your MIL is crazy too!! HOw can someone not like girls? haha. I thank my lucky stars that i no longer have to see my in-laws. I will do a little prayer that you too won't ahve to see yours anymore! I still however feel bad for my DH. Afterall they are his parents, crazy or not, but even now he is on my side with everything! At least we have my family. They are crazy but in a special and loveable way (my DH's words).

Thanx for yr response to my question...hmm that's interesting coz never heard of that before. I just had this doubt always as my grandmothers and people of that older generation used to say this all the time " Don't eat a lot of fats or sugars, honey, or else ur going to have a big baby and it will be tough to deliver her" Maybe it was just their way of saying 'eat a balanced meal'. Anyways, u have a good one !

That's strange! I can't believe that. Well ultrasounds are never really 100% sometimes they might see something that might not be what they think so just buy pink because 3 lines is usually the labia which is definitely girl parts happy shopping :)

I would definitely be disappointed if I didn't find out the sex....especially if this was my first baby. I don't go for my next u/s until June but I've been doing them at work (i work on a labor and delivery floor) We haven't been able to tell yet so I'm wondering if this one will ever cooperate and let us see. But...on the other hand...what a great surprise it'll be when you do have the baby! The last time I reallllly wanted to wait but when they asked us if we wanted to know the temptation was too great and we said yes. Maybe you'll be able to have another u/s later on in the pregnancy to find out...it's still early

Bless your heart with a MIL like that. My husband's family there is 7 boys and I have 2 girls and another girl on the way so she is just plain CRAZY! Whatever they had in their family in no way determines what her son will have. Good luck to you hun and if I was yall I would try to avoid her as much as you can. Take Care.

What the hell? Jeeze i don't like her at all!!!! How can she say that kind of stuff? Does everyone hate her? I wouldn't even listen to that nonsense! Thats horrible!!!! She must have done something pretty effed up in her lifetime to hate her own gender!!! My ex's mom was the same way with paternity testing n crap. His whole family was up to no good. It's all about the drama in his family and if they can cause it, they are in heaven. They made up sooooo many rumors about me, it was rediculous!
