I've tried everything but nothing working now so I'm sorta giving up, ben has a complex about the sex thing as he is fully engaged and he can't get that outta his head ha ha!! I'm gonna carry on the raspberry tea tho as it strengthens ur uterus and anything gotta be a good thing. Thanks for the advice he he!! I just watched X fctor from last night and there was a story that someone dies after child birth, GREAT!!!! scary times huh xx

krissynben - Sunday, 7 September
Ahhh ok, well I'm not leaking anything... I've squeezed, prodded, so not even sure I'm producing any milk. 4 a day yuck, lucky to have 2 ha ha! Today though I am gonna have loads... 2 down 2 to go then! I bet I will be here, they will keep me about 12 days over, thats still another 8 days, OH NO!! ha ha xoxo

Whats mastitis? haven't heard of that before. Sorry to hear you haven't had a good time of it, but like you said it'll all be over soon, bet that feels good. I'm hoping i don't go over too much either, i just don't want to be induced. Plus I don't want him to arrive on Tues as thats my mums bday and would like him to have his own day!

I am drinking the rapsberry tea too and have been for a couple of weeks, but getting real sick of it. How many cups can you have a day as I'm going for it today? only been having one or two a day...

Hope your induction goes well and I'm sure I'll still be here when u get back to tell me the story! he he good luck xx

krissynben - Sunday, 7 September
How come you are being induced so early.. well practically on ur due date isn't it? I am 4 days over now and don't have a sweep till Wed and they will tell me more then I spose. I don't think I've had any signs, a few of those sharp pains that were so painful they nearly knocked me off my feet and loads of BH but don't think I've experienced a proper contraction yet! Sorta scared but just ready to meet him now, I just hope he's not a 10lber as I'm over my date xox

krissynben - Sunday, 7 September
Hey any movements?

Hi Theresa

Well, it's almost action time for you :)

I am very excited for you and bet you can't wait until Tuesday!! It must be nice to have the decision taken for you as well in a way, and you really do have good medical reasons for an induction too.

I have my doc on Tuesday, and he will be doing my first internal. He recommends we book the induction for the following Tuesday, and give this little guy one more week to come naturally. This is exactly how we went with Zac, induced him at 41 weeks. I was hoping this time would be different / the little guy would come on his own. Perhaps he still will...

How is the mastitis going? I imagine the antibiotics must have kicked in by now. I had mastitis with Zac about 3 times (only after he was born though). Gosh its awful isn't it? Luckily I had a great GP at the time, who would prescribe over the phone after the first time. This time, I also bought an electric pump to help me try to move the lumps if it happens again.

Well, we will all miss you from Tuesday, be sure to come back on and share the birth story / photos of your beautiful little man.

Good luck and best wishes hun :D

Cheers, Jackie xxx

How is the mastitis? Are you doing a lot of hot compresses? I had that with my son but I caught it in the early stages and it wasn't very bad *thank goodness*. As for the lengths of my labor, my daughter was 36hrs, son was 23hrs so I hope its only 10 with Bri :) lol

I had my OB appointment today and I'm still only 1cm, she is way down but no change. On Monday I have the Foley catheter put in and on Tuesday the hospital will call me when to come in, I'll be put into my labor room and my water will be broken etc., then there is no turning back :) I'm so excited to have the weekend with my hubby and children and next week we become a larger family :)

Everyone getting excited at your home for your bundle of joy to arrive? I bet your girls are ecstatic !!

NicoleAndGrant - Friday, 5 September
My goodness, you have been through so much and now this?? You better get that little monkey out soon !! This might mean that you will have a very easy labor as you have had so much pain thus far. Hope everything else is well :) Hugs

Hey There! Thanks for the extra info. Mine doesn't seem as bad as yours, that's for sure. I hope you get to feeling better soon. I swear it seems that our bodies fall apart when we're pregnant doesn't it?

JackaMumma - Thursday, 4 September
Hi Theresa. Good to hear you had the sweep and things are starting to progress :) BTW what do they actually do when they do a sweep? My doc does my first internal on Tuesday, he said if things are favourable we can discuss options at that time (I am thinking he means a sweep) - and that we would book the induction for the following Tuesday, which would take me to 40 weeks 7 days. He told me not to focus on that though and get into an induction mindset, as I think I lost my plug on Monday, had lower back pain, and the BH continue on!!

I was king of hoping the little guy would come today, because I have colleagues from work who are coming to visit me tomorrow, then guests from interstate on Saturday, and I just don't feel like doing the housework and entertaining them - would rather have them do a quick visit to the hospital

Oh well, I've told the little guy to just come when he is ready, and I will deal with it.

Bye for now, and keep us posted if the sweep results in labour xxx Jackie
