About 4 years of unexplained infertility, then suddenly 3 pregnancies back to back, the first two ending in early miscarriages...it's been quite the ride! Last June miscarried at 6 weeks...right after that pregnant again and miscarried at 5 weeks. To our utter shock we found out we were pregnant again last August and had our beautiful daughter on May 4, 2009.
We decided to leave the possibility open to getting pregnant again whenever my body, God, fate, etc etc may allow us to. As an older Mom, I don't have 5 years to wait between trying again....so we'll see! ; ) Congrats to you all!
Sept. 27, '09: Early miscarriage again at 5w3d...ugh. Oh well, we just get in the saddle and try again! Keepin fingers, toes (but not legs) crossed...hahaha. Riley is doing great and is the best thing ever...sure hope she gets to be a big sis one day! Hope everyone is doing great:)
Oct. 24 '09: We're pregnant again! Got the BFP today and if this one sticks the due date is July 1, which is also my birthday. I'm hopeful but of course bracing myself to have another early miscarriage. I took progesterone this time starting the day after ovulation. Fingers crossed!

Thanks for replying. I only got one reply from you so it you don't have to worry about duplicates. Sorry you had such a hard time posting! I'm so glad to hear that things are still going well for you!!! This is the weird thing... we tried for 18 months to get pregnant with my daughter. Once I was pregnant things went well. This time we were not trying. We were actually preventing and we have been so busy (both got laid off when I was 8 months pregnant with daughter and we are just starting new jobs) and we have all been sick. With such a hectic month we only BD'd once that month!!! I was so shocked to find out I was pregnant. Then exactly 7 days later (to the minute) I find out I'm going through a miscarriage. Quite a roller coaster. We were excited to be pregnant but weren't quite ready for another one just yet. We were going to start trying when she turned about 18 months old (she's 9 months right now). Thank you for the tip about the progesterone - I will keep that in mind when we start trying again. Things need to stabilize a bit for us first. Me out of a job for 6 months and my husband for almost a year has been really tough on the finances. I go back on Friday for more lab work. I have had no signs of slowing down with bleeding. I'm hoping that will change this week. Thank you again for your support. It's nice to have someone to talk to about this. My husband kind of glossed over it all like it was no big deal. My mom goes overboard and thinks that I'm going to die from an infection or something so I avoid the topic with her. I don't want to tell anyone at work since it's still a new job that I cannot afford to lose.

Thank you for checking in on me. Sorry it is taking me so long to respond but it has been a crazy couple of weeks!!! They verified on 10/30 that my numbers were dropping and I'm indeed going through a miscarriage. I'm having to go twice a week for blood work until my numbers get back to 0. For 10 days the number only dropped 10 points, but then three days later it dropped over 100. So weird! I'm hoping this ordeal will be over with soon. I've been on the equivalent of a period for almost a month now.
