I had a feeling I was pregnant when I was about 1 or 2 days late on my period. I took a pregnancy test and it was POSITIVE! I took another and same result. My son just turned 5 months old and I'm already gonna have another one, lol. It's a blessing! Anywho, expect some pictures

Joshua is starting to make new noises, really cute! He also KINDOF said "MaMa", that's what it sounded like to me! It seems like when he gets upset he cries out MaMa.. I started putting him in his own crib, own bedroom April 28, he does really well. I was nervous the first night, but now all is good. Anyway, I really need to find toys for him to play with so I'm gonna go yard saling all day Saturday! Okay, hope u all r doing good! I LOVE MOTHERHOOD! MAY 2ND JOSHUA ROLLS OVER FOR THE FIRST TIME~!~

Last night Joshua was playing with a toy and was turning the pages that make noises all by himself! It was a proud moment for me. Also I noticed that he is starting to discover his feet!!! He grabs them and pulls them up. He usually goes to bed between 9-10pm and wakes up around 6:30am, such a good baby. I'm so excited, lol. God has really blessed us with a precious baby, couldn't be happier. I think I have a job at a hospital working as a CNA, so that's even better! Anyway, hope everyone is doing good. Garage sales are coming soon, yahoo! AND ALSO AFTER YOU HAVE A BABY EXPECT YOUR HAIR TO FALL OUT FOR AWHILE LONG...I GRAB A CLUMP OF HAIR EVERYDAY.

He got his FIRST shots today and it about killed me! He was all better when Mama got to hold him and make him feel better. I have the magic touch, lol. He was so good on his FIRST road trip to North Carolina. He basically slept the whole way there and the whole way back. We think he starting to teeth a little bit, he's getting a little fussy so I've just been giving him some Infant Tylenol. His belly button is healing on its own from the umbilicalcord hernia, thank God! He's a very healthy boy and I thank God everyday! He likes to talk "cue" and smile a lot, it's so adorable. He follows you around the room now. He sleeps good through the night..Last feeding uaually around 11pm and wakes up 3:30am some nights and other nights at like 5ish, so he's a good baby, no trouble at all. I don't understand how some parents just think it's a hassle and a VERY VERY hard job to take care of a baby, maybe I'm just lucky. I think it's easy..some days not so much, lol. Well, I've started my diet today, no soda, just water and tea (no sugar or salt) and some other stuff to go along with this diet. I'm gonna start doing push ups, sit up and walking, its gonna take me some time to get used to again. Anyway, hope everyone is doing good, I've gotta go take Joshua on a walk in his stroller.

Joshua got dedicated at Church March 9th, it was so sweet! He weighs over 12lbs now. We're heading off to North Carolina to see my Husbands brother that has been over seas in the Army, so this will be Joshua's first road trip, hopefully it goes good. Everything is so perfect and I couldn't be happier. Joshua is getting to where he smiles a lot and tries to talk to ya. He's a joy! Anyway, hope everyone is going good. I'll update and put new pictures up when I get back.

Last Monday we took Joshua to the Doctor and he weighed 10lbs 8oz, 22 1/2 in long, he's a chubby lil thing! He's already eating 6oz. Took him to his first day of church yesterday =) I went to my 6 week check up and everything looked good, I start back on birth control as soon as I go get the meds. Anyway, hope ya'll are doing good. I am so happy with my lil boy and with my life, couldn't ask for anything more.

Well, Joshua has a cold. I took him to the Dr today because he's been sneezing, coughing, sweating and stopped up. I cried in the office because I feel I'm his Mother and it's my fault, sucks! My husband is sick too. So now its just a waiting game for him to get better. I got a vaporizer and salin so hopefully that works. He's eating fine and gaining weight like he should so thats good. His ambilical cord fell off Saturday. My Mother is coming over tonight to watch the baby so I can get some sleep for a few hours, I am so0o0o tired........ Other than all of the stuff everything is good. I just want my baby to get better, of course my other baby too (Aaron) =)

1-28-08

1wk 4days- Joshua had his 2nd Dr. appt today. Everything looked good, he now weighs 7.6oz as opposed to 6.9oz last time. His jaundice is now gone. He makes the cutest face expressions and doesnt even know it. The joys of having a boy..getting peed on all the time. Even the wall gets it. He doesn't ever really cry except for when he's hungry, needs to be changed, has gas, or just wants to be held. He's a really good baby. He sleeps next to our bed in his pack n play. I have a sound machine going at night for him because ge seems to like noise. He probably wakes up about every 2-3 hours in the middle of the night. I hate waking up from a deep sleep, so nights aren't my thing, but I've gotta do it because Aaron is in college and needs his sleep so we can have the big bucks in a couple of years, lol. Our families absolutley enjoy him. I just can't wait to be able to sleep through the night and play with him. He's my precious boy! His circumcision looks really good, all healed up. His belly button hasn't fallen off yet. He kinda snores like his daddy =P My weight right now has gone from 188lbs to around 164lbs. My boobs are finally back to normal. I'm still hurting down there...when I stand for a long time, but I can't stand not doing anything. I can't wait to go to the gym and tan...anyway, everything is great, I'm just learning to nap when he naps so. Hope ya'll are doing good, God Bless!

Birth Story

Due date was February 2, gave birth January 17. Woke up around 3:00am to go pee. When I headed back to bed I noticed that I was dripping and thought to myself, am I peeing myself? So went to check and it was clear fluid. I stood back up and I started dripping down my legs, so I went to wake Aaron up(husband) and told him I think my water broke. He was like are you serious? So I went back to the bedroom and it just started coming out. I called my parents and told them so that my mom could come over. Aaron was like just go back to bed, I said um no crazy! My mom came over and I sat around waiting for contractions to start which was around 4am. I called the hospital and asked them should I come in because my water had broken and my contractions were around 7 min apart, she said uh yeah if your water had broken! LOL so we all got our stuff together and headed off to the hospital. They admitted me around 4:55am, they had lost my paper work so they had to pre admit me again! At this point my contractions are getting stronger and frequent. I was already 5cm dilated around 90% effaced. They took me back to the room that I would deliver in. They gave me the epidural around 7:30. I started pushing at 8:15. At this point I cant feel a thing, pain free! They had to use a suction and snip me on the inside. I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy at 8:57am. In my opinion I had a very easy delivery, THANK YOU GOD! I tried to get sleep in the hospital, but didnt really happen cuz of weird dreams and paranoid. First night home was horrible! All in all I wouldnt change a thing, I'm very much in love with my little man, its a wonderful feeling being a Mom and needed.

♥My name is Lynsi AKA Lyn, 20 years old from Oklahoma, happily married to my bestfriend Aaron. We've been together since June 2004. We kinda planned this pregnancy, but when I found out I was pregnant I was still shocked because I never thought it would actually happen. I took 4 pregnancy tests because I just couldn't believe it and wanted to make sure. I plan on having a medicated pregnancy. I'm going to breastfeed also. I'm due February 2, 2008, but I have a feeling he will come earlier than that. The ultrasounds say January 29 so who knows. We're so happy to be having a baby boy! The beginning of my pregnancy I would get sick in the evenings. I'm finding out the hard way what the baby doesn't like because I will throw everything up hours later. Other than that I've had no problems with this pregnancy, its been pretty easy.The first time I for sure felt the baby kick was September 11 and ever since then he wont calm down, LoL. I'm very, very excited for my baby boy to be here. I still can't believe I'm going to be a Mother. I'm loving being pregnant except for when I feel really bloated and can't get up. ♥October 10, 2007:: I am currently 23w3d and not much has changed, same ol'. Found out the baby doesn't have cystic fibrosis, praise the Lord! My next appointment is Oct 23. They're gonna send me to the lab and draw some blood to make sure I'm not getting diabetes and some other stuff, normal testsings. I'm trying to gather addresses up for my sister since she is putting together the baby shower Dec 1. Other than all that, all is good, just trying to eat healthy and finish up the baby's room. God Bless! ♥October 17, 2007:: It is 12:05am, can't really fall asleep, I have too much running through my mind ecspecially when po'd. I'm thinking about going back to work as a Nurse Assistant after the baby comes. Maybe go to school? Who knows. I'm trying not to worry. I awoke from a nap today and my right nipple had been leaking, I was very suprised because I didn't think that happend till after pregnancy. The baby is starting to lie on the bladder more and more so when I'm out I can barely walk I have to pee so bad, very uncomfortable. My ankles are swollen too. I registered at Babies R Us for my baby shower, that was fun. I'm getting purple stretch marks all over my legs including my calves, gross! Anywho, hope everyone is doing good. ♥October 23, 2007:: Went to my Nurse today, she says I've gained too much too fast (170lbs), ugh! I am so mad at myself. I totally thought I HAD to eat more since I'm pregnant. She said all I need is like 500 extra calories and that's just like a glass of milk and some cookies. I had no clue! So now I'm a fat ass, lol. I have to go to the lab sometime for some tests. Everything looked good though. My belly is about 26cm. Lord willing my husband and I are getting our house done with new windows, sising, doors, and roof, so hopefully that'll be done by Thanksgiving. Our house will be so much warmer and quieter. I'm ordering a John Deere tractor wall mural for the the baby's room, that'll be fun for me to paint. I've been very emotional here lately so that's not fun. Actually just got done crying 5 minutes ago =/ Anywho, hope everyone is good. ♥October 31, 2007:: HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Nothing much going on and not much has changed. My belly is just getting so big I feel so fat! Ever since my last appointment I've been trying not to eat as much like I was. I'm just eating like normal. The baby likes to move a lot..I love it! That's when it feels real to me. It's Halloween and I really wanna go trick or treating, but I don't think I would get away with it so...lol. I have my first breastfeeding class Nov 7, that should be intresting. My birthday is Nov 5, I'll be no longer a teenager =/ My mood swings are really bad, so I try to keep to myself when that happens otherwise my husband and I will get into a fight. Kk I'm gonna go get cleaned up and head to my parents house to chill...candy 4 me tonight! ♥November 13, 2007:: I went to my Nurse today. I am RH -, my glucose is fine, but I am a little anemic so I have to start taking iron pills twice a day. She gave me that Rhogame shot or however you spell it in my hip. I go back to see her in 2 weeks. I now weigh 178lbs. I feel so fat! Anyway, I have to go get thanksgiving dinner because I am hosting it since I now have my own house. I've been looking some information up on training I could get into after the baby is here. I was thinking of either being a Cop, Nurse or Cosmetologists...I don't know yet so I must pray about that. I'm just ready to move on with my life, do something! The Army didn't work out for me so...we'll see. Anywho, hope everyone is good! God bless!!! Update: I found out that I'm going to have my baby at St.John's (where I was born and my parents work) oh and it's closer to home, YaY!* I meet with my OBGYN the Doctor Dec. 5 that's going to deliver my baby. My husband and I are going to take Childbirth classes starting Nov.27, that should be interesting. I'm just excited! I went to a community college to find information out on Nursing and looks like I'm going to start classes there Summer of 08' for my prereqs...eee nervous. Well, hope everyone is doing good. ♥November 30, 2007 30W6D:: Tomorrow is my baby shower, very excited! I saw my Nurse Practioner for the last time before I go see my new Doctor. She really frustrated me when she said I gained 8lbs (170lbs to 178lbs) when in reality I didn't gain anything. I wrote down in my pregnancy memory book how much I weighed last time I visited and it was 178lbs. She says I weighed 170lbs...ugh get it right! Anyway, we're getting our house worked on finally! They're putting siding, windows, doors, EVERYTHING in. Looks messy right now so that's driving me crazy. I'm going to start on the babys wall tractor mural soon, get that over with. Soon we're getting new carpet in. We still have the back of house to do. Laundry room, master bedroom, mud room and guest bathroom and the babys room...all needs to get done before the baby gets here. AaaHHH! Okay, well I'm gonna go eat some waffles and watch tv, relax time. Oh and I think we finally came up with a name for our baby boy. Joshua Alexander Whitaker. My husbands first name is Joshua, but he goes by his middle name Aaron. So same first name and initials JAW. ♥December 1, 2007:: Today has been a busy day! It's 1:50AM and I just got done organizing all the baby stuff that I got from the Baby Shower today. I am so tired and my back, ankles, feet hurt! It was a wonderful baby shower though. I got some money as a gift so as soon as the shower was over I went baby shopping. I still have a few more things to get. I have a feeling the baby will be here soon...Mid January or towards the end. He sure does move around a lot =). Anywho, I see my Doctor December 5 and have my childbirth class the 3rd. I am stressed that my house is an absolute mess, 1 more week, that's all! Kk, goodluck to everyone* CoUlD mY hIpS gEt AnY wIdEr?!? ♥December 17, 2007:: 33W2D* Haven't had electricity for over a week so I'm at my sister's house. Oklahoma had a bad ice storm where all the trees were frozen with ice so they would fall and break all the power lines. Went to see my new Dr. the 5th, she did a full physical, I see her again the 26th. I'm probably gonna go pre admit myself at the hospital tomorrow and I have my last childbirth class, we get to take a tour of the labor and delivery rooms. I've really enjoyed learning different breathing teqniques. The Nurse said if you can hold your hand in ice water for 2 minutes then you can get through contractions. I've decided if possible when I starting having contractions I'm going to get into a warm bath tub and go from there. Probably just have early labor at home. Anyway, I went Christmas shopping tonight...I've just been really busy this past week taking care of people and cooking in the dark...being patient for power! Okay well it's 2:33am and I've gotta wake up soon to go get a bunch of free stuff from a lady my mom works with. Hope yall are doing good! Not too much longer to go. I guess I should pack my hospital bag?!♥December 26, 2007:: 34w4d. Aaron and I had a great trip to New Mexico and Texas. Came back on Sunday. Our house is finally done on the outside, looks great! Went to the doctor today. She said my cervix is dilated 2cm and that I can't do anything for 2 weeks (til my next appointment). I've had like 3 people tell me that I look like that I've dropped. She also said it feels like the babys head has gone down so I may not be breech thank God! My hunger is increasing where I'm always hungry and thirsty, that's new. I am very swollen (feel fat). She says if I have more than 6 contractions in an hour to call her and she'll put me on medicine. This sucks because I can't stay still, I've always gotta be cleaning. But anyway..that's all the news I have for now. Hope everyone is good! ♥January 3, 2008:: 35w5d. Well I am still pregnant, lol. I've been staying with my parents since Sunday, but I am going back home today. We're supposed to have a roofing guy come out to do our roof, finally! We're supposed to be getting carpet in soon too. I can't wait for the Nursery to be done, it's all messy and driving me crazy. Atleast I've got the play yard set up in our room since the baby will be staying in there for awhile. I'm ready for baby to come. I'm uncomfortable and tired of the pregnancy side affects =/ I go to the Doctor on the 11th so hopefully I'm more dilated (fingers crossed) Anyway, hope ya'll are doing good.UPDATE- Jan 9 Had a lil bit of spotting today...
