My thoughts....

Very first post dont know date
At this point my back is hurting when i sleep. Well all my insides are being shifted with pressure so it makes it uncomfortable. I have crazy vivid dreams. I am still a bit naseaed. Nothing sounds good to eat. I gained 1 lb. I look like a kook in maturnity clothes because I am too short. I just look like im adding lbs instead of looking pregnant. I have been emotional at times and either wig out or cry. I get annoyed easier then before. Take my multi-vits. Dont over eat. Had a few days of acid reflux. A few headachs. I am A negative blood type had to get two shots. Took the gestational diebetes 3 hour glucose test and look like a herin adic! Am tired in the am. Getting excited for Christmas for once. Make Jake listen to Christmas music in bed with a cinnimon candle lit. Ok thats it for now

Feeling a bit better but still wanting to cringe at the thought of certain foods or planning on what lunch or dinner will be. My boobs are feeling umm fuller! I think I have only gained like 1-5 lbs since it varies throughout the day. I have been feeling some pops and bings in my tummy but im sure its just my body settling. Kind of thought I might of felt something thumping my side above my ovary but I could be wrong. Pretty curious what the name will be and of course thats based on the gender. Jakes going to get crazy and ask the Dr. on Monday if we can find out but we are supposed to find out in the beginning of Jan. Mr. Dr. does not have the best bedside manner but you can tell she knows her stuff. Somedays I feel more run down there others but overall feeling a bit better. Hope my blood pressure is not high and that my glucose test came back good! Ill let you know!

Ok so the sick to my stomach feeling is going away. I can eat more. I hate a whole carton of the small Coffee Hoggen Daz icecream! I have never done that.. oh and I felt like crap after! BAD IDEA! I have been very emotional for sure! Cant take the mother in law and she is driving me nutz! I have high blood pressure from here to there it has been anywhere from 117 over 80 to 123 over 80. I went a few weeks back and it was 140 over 80! So they want to possibly put me on heart meds. I DONT WANT TO GO ON ANY MEDS WHILE IM PREGANT! Its not good for the baby! Sooo I have to work on the stressfactor and watch what i eat! I go back on the 19th to check my blood pressure hopefully its lower! Oh ya! We find out the sex on January 3 2008... SUPER STOKED!!!

I did got to the dr and had to do a 24 hour urine and blood sample for my blood pressure since it went up to 140/80. We will see dont like the idea of being on medications while pregnant period but we will see. Hopefully it does not go any higher. I have had maybe a few headachs this month but like slight ones I did have a day of some zings in my lower right side of my tummy and a few wipes of brown spotting but nothing after that it was Sunday. I have my Dr. apt on January 3rd...Super stoked! I am hoping my blood pressure has stayed level. Coworker bought me a cool book so I have been reading it and not crazy nonsence on the internet which freaks me out! Ok Ok I wounder what it is a boy or a girl...I want a boy first but will be totally ok with a girl... i have no choice its how its ment to be no matter what... Im going to mess with my mom cuz shes crazy about this baby and its her first grandkid! Im going to play games with her and not tell her the sex for a few days!! haha Still strong moods and not as much nausea food is sounding better and had a salad for dinner tonight.. im thirsty... ok bye for now!

OK WENT TO THE U/S AND DR APT! ALL TEST ARE GOOD. AFP CAME BACK NEGATIVE, PROTEIN URINE TEST CAME BACK GOOD, I HAVE NOT GAINED ANY MORE WEIGHT, AND BEST OF ALL MY BLOOD PRESSURE IS DOWN AGAIN!!!!! WAS 140/80 BUT BACK DOWN TO 112/70!!!! SOOO STOKED ABOUT THAT ONE BUT!!! WE DONT KNOW WHAT THE BABY IS??????? JILL THATAS THE U/S LADY SAID EVERYTHING LOOKS NORMAL 11 OZ AND 9 IN TALL! GOOD HEART, CORD LOOKS GOOD, HAS A BRAIN, AND CANE MOVE LIKE A MONSTER! SAW THE SPINAL CORD BEND ALL OVER AND SAW THE ARMS AND LEGS WIGGLE ALL AROUND! THE MONSTER WAS UPSIDE DOWN WITH ITS FEET BY MY RIBS! ALSO ITS SITTING ABOUT 4 INCHES AWAY FROM THE TOP OF MY BELLY SO IT MIGHT BE DIFFICULT TO FEEL IT AND EVEN MORE DIFFICULT TO SEE WHAT THE SEX IS.. DONT KNOW IF IT WAS GRAVITY OR WHAT BUT COULD NOT TELL IF ITS A GIRL OR A BOY! WE GO BACK IN 2 WEEKS FOR CLEARER PICTURES AND HOPEFULLY WE CAN FIND OUT FOR SURE THEN!!!

We found out today that we are having a girl! I kind of wanted a boy but I am surprisingly happy! So many cuter clothes (pink polka dots) and my mom is super happy... Continuing my mitochondria dna for my female side!

Ok so I feel THUMPING! It `s like a jumping nerve down on my fefe!! Crazy feeling not sure if I like it... I wish it would move up just a bit more so it `s not so annoying! hahah The thumping started this week I think on Saturday.. Looks like we have a wild woman on our hands here! I would rather have crazy baby then a boring one!! hahah

Ok so i went to the dr. for my 6th month. i was kind of hoping that my blood pressure would be up so my dr. would put me out of work! i know that sounds bad but im really over OCT! im doing the work of about 2 people, working 10-12 hour days, just stressed out! not good for pregnancy! BUT to my surprise my b.p. was 126/78. Better the Dr. Wells! LOL! She seemed really cool about putting me out when she has a medical reason soooo maybe next month!!!!

I `m a mess today! So I made a appointment with my Dr. to see if she will put me out because of stress from work. She is going to run some test to see if i have a chance to deleiver in 2 weeks. My biggest concerns is work! I have a feeling that my work is causing some the cramping and back pain! I work about 12 hours a day and im up and down standing and sitting bending all over all day long. I work in Real Estate Insurance and we have had a bunch of lay offs so Im doing the job of like 2 other people on top of mine. From a scale to 1-10 of stress I am at a 91/2 all day long. I want to go out early on disablity but its like my dr. has no bedside mannor! Like she just thinks this is all normal. No suggestion from her of well maybe we should put you out sounds like your work is effecting you! I am soo freaking pissed off and I know its not good for me or my baby! I have just been crying! The ride home my mom said nothing to me! Oh well guess thats life. I swear if there is something wrong with my kid from the stress from work I will just die. I also heard that RH negative shot- Rhogeam has mercury in it and could be linked to the cause of Autism!

Last few weeks are here..I have not written on here in a while. From my last update Jake had a talk with my Dr. and she put me out! I do have gestational diabetes after the 32 week test I feel through over the boarderline category but I am controlling it with my diet. No insulin so far. I have gained about 25=30 lbs but dont look too bloated. I feel her kick right in the middle of my ribs and she moves all around. Especially when I go to the Fetal Monitoring center. They chekc my fluid on Tuesdays by ultrasound and they check to make sure the baby is responding to stimulation. So far so good. Doc gave me a choice to have a csection since Kennedy is bigger. Im at 37 weeks and measuring about 40! The diet for the diabetes is difficult but I know its the correct way to eat. I am going to stay with it after the baby but not as extreme... ie taking my blood sugar every few hours is a pain! I have lost about 6 lbs on it in about 4 weeks which is ok because I am eating enough for the baby and healthier foods at that. I am feeling streched and have weird twings and pangs but went for my week 37 apt and no dilation and no effacement so I think im good. My c-section is on May 19th even though my due date is the 28th. Jake and I decided to just do the straight shot and do the surgery. Dont want to go through labor then not progress and do the surgery anyway. I dont need to prove im a woman that much. I have carried this little or should I say big baby for 9 months.. I did my sentance! LOL Getting excited and kind of nervous but I definatly want this to be over. I want to meet my little human that Jake and I made together! I am happy; my life is going down the path that I want it. I hope it just keeps on going the same way!

Well good luck!!! Congrats in advance!! I am still here waiting for this little guy to make his entrance.. i hacve been inlabour for days now and i just dont seem to be dialting past 2 cms.. i am 100% effaced but im not sure if i will end up having a c-section cause i just wont dialte...having massive contractions all the time but hey dont seem to be doing enough.. my doc is not doing anything though so im frustrated.. he wont even talk options till afetr my due date....oh well best of luck and have fun with your new baby.

Wow good Luck y today at the c-section, i know everything will be just great for you...sorry if you thought i was asking why you were getting it cause it wasn't neccessary.. i didnt mean it to sound like that at all..i am just curious as to doctors reasons.. i am afraid I will need one and the doc is just gonna wait so long to make that decision that i will have to be an emergency....

I had an internal exam today and nothing. Not dilated or effaced, nothing. But I have gotten so much bigger since last week, all belly, she scheduled me for an u/s next Thur to check his size/growth. He has measured big throughout, 89%, and his daddy was 9.8oz. How about you?

I went to the doctor today and they checked to see if i was dialated. Im 1.5cm and 75% effaced. Good luck!!

Hey, when I have braxton hicks, it feels like a ton of pressure inside my tummy, and my uterus just gets so tight it actually grips around the baby, it's kinda cute because if my baby is a certain position when it is happening you can see his little bum sticking out. They are not so much painful as they are super uncomfortable!!! Hope this helps

Sounds like you can blame your husband for her size! :-) The Dr is going to induce me on Sunday May 11th - Mother's Day! Just found out yesterday so this may be our last weekend of just being a couple. If my hospital u/s on Tuesday confirms the 9lb baby - then we move ahead with the induction. If it turns out my Dr was wrong and she is a lot smaller than we may delay. They are going to try to induce cause they say she is ready, the placenta looks like it is aging faster than normal, and they want me to try to have a regular delivery. Although she said that they may try induction and then have to do a c-section anyway. I hope it is just one or the other! I can't imagine going through all the pain of contractions and then have a c-section after all!
My boss had two kids - one regular delivery and one c-section and she said she loved her c-section and would take that any day!

Dr did not take my tummy measurement at this last visit - I wish she had cause I would have been curious. I was measuring right on line with my due date weeks prior, but the last visit when she took the tummy measurement I was a week ahead. My gd test came back negative so I don't think that is a factor. I am very tall (6 feet) and my husband is a bit taller with a very large build - guess together it just adds up to a large baby! Have they given you any idea of how big your baby is going to be?

hello again... just an update... i got back from the doctors, of course measuring 41 weeks... i asked what he was going to do about it, and he scheduled an ultrasound for me for tomorrow to check the measurements of the baby. he said it might just be extra fluid, or it could be a big baby. so thats my guess for you too. maybe you'll have another ultrasound to determine if they'll induce you early or something.....? just a thought!

hello! just read your post... i've been measuring about that much too! last week i was 40, and he said i should have been about 36. i go to the doctor again in about an hour... my guess is that i'll be at 41 or so. not exactly sure what that all means, i'm HOPING it means i get to have this baby earlier than my due date... i can't imagine them letting us get to a 43 or 44 measurement! if i find out anything more today i'll let you know... maybe we're just having huge babies. haha. take care, don't stress!!!!!!! :D

They are measuring me by ultrasound weekly d/t be being high risk with the Biophysical Profile. You are measuring right around where I have been at 30wks, currenly she is measruing 6lbs 11 ozs at 34 wks and 5 days.

Girls are a little crazy at times, but they are fine. Just raise her the best you can, with the right morals. I have 3 girls, this will be my fourth one. I love my girls, they are sweet and respectable, and they get good grades in school. Girls are just a little opinionated at times, but it's okay, as long as their mouths don't get too slick..lol. You and your baby girl will be fine mama!

Well I grad 4rm chino high c/o 03.. :) your lucky u get to shedule your c-section.. Lucky u dnt have to wait around and wonder when to go in.. I find out May 1st if I'm still due May 29th..
