I just had my cervix ck'ed 3 days ago and I just barely got old brown blood early this morning..plus I never bleed after. This just maybe been the first. I have lower menstrual like cramps but they are getting more painful. You due date is near...good luck and I hope your not overdue...like me ;o). Humm, are they cramps or contractions...they feel like cramps to me. Take care

momof2oneonway! - Wednesday, 9 July
slight bleeding can be from the internal exam but if it keeps up CALL THE DOCTOR! best wishes.

sunshine78 - Tuesday, 8 July
did your doc do a membrane sweep and not tell you? if so, then your baby will be here in the next couple days. with my first son when they "swept" me and i started bleeding and cramping, i delivered the next day.

PregoB - Tuesday, 8 July
I bleed every time after they check me. It is usually red for a little bit after I get home and then turns brown and I will have brown spotting for 2 to 4 days. As long as the spotting is brown (which means old blood) you are okay. If it stays red andthe red spotting doesn't stop - call your doc!

Where have you felt her head? I can't te;ll any body parts. I dreamt that I saw a foot print, but I can never tell. i think I can tell her butt nad that is about it. Rod says he felt her head down near my pelvis.

BamaBump - Friday, 20 June
Yeah, he's pretty good to me in every other way. I think you're right and that he's afraid he'll bump the baby's head. Regardless, this too will pass. Thanks!

my-lil-bean - Thursday, 29 May
I'm glad I'm not the only one that has gained a little more than what they say the average should be! I feel like this is the one time where you shouldn't have to be on a strict diet and worrying about everything you are eating! Congrats on your pregnancy. I'm having a little girl too! Megan Rose is a beautiful name!

lizzie287 - Wednesday, 28 May
Thanks for your concern. I thought at this point (32.5 weeks) that I could feel every movement my baby made, and I feel her so often that it scared the crap outta me when I didn't! But everything turned out fine, the nurse said she was turned with her back up so she was kicking toward my spine and that's probably why I wasn't feeling anything. Her heartbeat was strong and we could hear her movin around tons. Thanks again :)

Hi! yup! we are def supposed to use baby soap for the laundry. babies can have sensitive skin. sulphates and bleach and some other chemicals can be harmful and too astringent...can cause super dryness and hives etc...there are quite a few baby soaps out there. have a great day! and all the best with your pregnancy!

chell - Sunday, 25 May

I got the letters at Michael's Craft. They are just plain white wood letters and I purchased a few large packages of beads and MOD PODGE. I used the mod podge to adhere them and once it dried I applied another THICK coat of Mod Podge so that the would be no risk of them falling off and little one eating them.

kymh - Friday, 23 May
Hi, I think it's so great that you quit smoking! I know that it must be so hard but it's worth it. It drives me crazy that the smokers were making excuses and acting like it's not so bad to smoke while pregnant...very selfish! Congradulations on quiting! Good luck with your pregnancy!

noodle - Friday, 23 May
I had to go inexpensively b/c hubby is out of work -part of a big layoff-so we did gift certificates to favorite restaurants-they loved them. I think a gift cert for a massage or pedicure would be nice, too.
