My husband and I have been married for four years. We are so ready, now if science/nature could just work with us ;)

TTC has proved to be a bit more of a challenge that we had anticipated. We have tried for 7 months as of October 2009. It turns out my cycles are a bit out of whack. But, according to my doctor, I'm not "broken" and just need to be patient. So here goes!

Lol! I know! :DI'll see the doctor on the 23rd and hopefully he knows the gender. I'm pretty sure it's a girl though. You get hairy when you're carrying a boy because of the testosterone. I'm not any hairier, so.. :D

Aw thanks :) I wasnt charting but going by the predictor calendar and whatnot, I figured I ovulated around the 18th, 19th or 20th...thats my guess...thats when we tried so I'm figuring that must have been about right!

Your journey can't possibly be the same. They are all unique. The odds are that your experience will be much more normal than ours was. All told, I haven't got a single regret. Yes, I had hard times, but those hard times have passed. Much of this is about mental attitude, resolve, etc. I don't mean that you have to have a good attitude or else you won't get pregnant. I mean, with the right attitude, you can take anything that comes your way and turn it into the ride of your lifetime. I dont remember for sure...I want to say it was around the 17th of August and we found out at the end of September...however, I just found out I'm pregnant this morning and I know that I ovulated between the 18th and the 22nd of October and just made sure to "try" every other day :) I'm super excited because I was getting a little nervous about having to chart and everything! It just seems super surreal for now...I'm having a hard time believing it. It will happen for you, and soon I bet!!! Good luck :) Dont hesitate to ask ANY questions if you have any more!

Just read your post on ttc...I've had long cycles for as long as I can remember...anywhere fro 32 to 52 days! My husband and I started trying to conceive around May of 2008, it got a little frustraing because month after month of trying nothing was happening...I went to the OB to ask questions and he recommended putting me on Clomid which I just wasnt ready for...instead I started charting my Basal Body temperatures and after 2 months of doing that and using the Ovulation predictor strips from Target, we ended up finding out I was pregnant in September of that year :) I had a healthy baby girl in May 08. I just wanted to let you know that I do have long cycles and I think it just took a little extra work and effort as far as charting but everything turned out beautifully. We are ttc again and we are on month 3 but I havent been nearly as diligent with charting and as soon as AF comes around this time I've decided to pull out the ol' basal thermometer and go that route again :) Just keep positive and best of luck and baby dust to you!!!!!
