Hi Ladies,
My name is Shonnon and my husband is Xavery. We have been married for over two years. I have a daughter from a previous relationship age six and three step-children ages twelve, eleven and three. I got pregnant in June 2007 but God had different plans. My son Xavery Jr. went to be with the Lord on Oct. 28, 2007. That was by far the worse day of my life. My whole body, mind and soul hurt until i prayed to God to give me peace that surpasses all understanding. And after that I was able to bury my son and heal. The doctor said that I have a incompetent cervix and the next time i get pregnant they will place a stitch in my cervix called cerclage. Well we are ttc again and with the help of Jesus Christ, God will answer my prayers and bless my family and me with more children. May God bless you and may His will be done in your life.

Friday, 10 October Dear friends
I have made an online 'pregnancy loss and support' survey and would be extremely thankful for anyone taking the time to answer it. My aim is to use the information to create a pamphlet that will equip friends and family to be more supportive after a pregnancy loss.

Please forward this to any of your friends who you think might be able to help.
Thanks again.
Love,

Wednesday, 8 October Dear friends, first my apologies for not responding to any of your messages the last few days. Life has been very hectic lately and by now I have 62 messages waiting for me
Anyway, wanted to let you all know I had my ultrasound yesterday. The doctor did an internal one and everything looked fine so I was very relieved. I am so glad I got it done. My lining looked normal and he could tell I had ovulated from my left ovary a few days ago, just like I thought. It is just nice to get confirmed there is nothing bad left in there and all seems to be working normally.
Also wanted to let you know I had my first acupuncture appointment on Saturday. The lady specializes in infertility and has a very high success rate. She basically explained that we need to regulate the blood flow, the hormones and nerves and that will increase the health of my eggs and make my uterus lining stronger. A few of you have asked if it hurt. The answer is yes! I didn't expect that and so was quite surprised. The needles are so thin it is hard to imagine they would cause any pain but one in my left foot hurt the whole 10 min the treatment lasted. She told me afterwards that is the area connected to conception (she used other words though) and that it is 'good' that it is hurting. It means there is something off balance and it needs fixing so we are on the right track. It was overall a good experience, not weird in any way.
Again, thanks for all the messages I have received lately and sorry I haven't responded yet. I am working on it
Love,

Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Monday, 29 September Dear friends, I just wanted to let you all know that I had my doctor appointment yesterday. It was rather disappointing. He didn't consider my cycles unusual even though they are unusual for me. I asked if there is anything that can be done to increase my fertility and he said he doesn't think I have fertility issues being I have been able to get pregnant... The only thing I got out of it and only because I kept pushing is an ultrasound referral just to make sure nothing bad is left in there. He was otherwise so non-caring and I left rather depressed. The hospital has even send him personal letters about what happened with me and our baby and about future treatments and he has never read a single one.
Okay, just had to vent!
Hope you are all well.
Love,

Sunday, 21 September Dear friends, I just wanted to update you and let you all know that this wasn't my month. Even though I have tried to be more relaxed about it all this month it is still hard not to be disappointed when there is nothing you want more than to be pregnant. I sure wonder if it will ever happen! I also wonder if I should see a doctor about my cycles. I have had 5 cycles since the loss and they have all been irregular (both in length and amount of bleeding). If anyone has any advice or experience, I would appreciate it. Should I see a doctor or just give it more time? Anyway, hope you are all well.
Love,
Karin
