Hello, my name is Desiree I am 30 years old and the Lord has blessed me with three wonderful children. My oldest Taylor is 11 she is my athletic, academic straight A star:) My son Travis is 6. He loves making me smile he loves to clown around and make people laugh. He has one of the best imaginations I have ever seen on a child. (and I am a pre-school teacher so I see lots of them). My youngest is Addyson she was born on Feburary 9th 2008. She is my dollbaby. All three of them bring so much joy into my life. I love being a mother. I have a wonderful partner as well. His name is Earl you will hear me refer to him as Tiger. Tiger is the love of my life. He was my very first boyfriend at 13 we remained friends all these years and now He will be the man I marry:) Although my first two children are not his biologically he loves them as his own. Addyson is his first born and I am sooooo excited to be going on this journey with him. I am currently in school at Northern Kentucky University and teach pre-school at The Goddard School. I love all children they make my every day a great one. I never leave work (even on a bad day) without laughing, smiling, or just plain old feeling the love. I love God and I live each day to please him. He has come into my life and gave me a new heart, a new reason to live, and PURPOSE!

I was silently freaking out. I was home alone with Benjamin. I'm just so glad everything turned out ok. Our power didn't go out, thank goodness. I don't want another storm like that for many, many years, lol.

Hey, you say your in the faith..so i just want to say that I dont think fear is the way to go. that will give her issues...later in life. Open the bible up ( 1 corintians ) and read what it says about fornication. She has not sinned, but you never want to do anything that will cause you to fall into temptation..that is not the heart of our God, and he does not want us playing with "fire" so to speak. Also dating is not in the bible. ( i know it sounds strict) but its not. God will bring you a partner as you trust in him and seek a relationship wit him first. I know and you know that a relationship at this age is not going to end in marriage..therefore..why even date? its a trap.and it takes you off of focusing on God. I dont know if your daughter is saved. ( has she prayed the prayer of salvation? willingly?) if not, then she wont really hear much about what you think about God and the bible. The bible says that if we arnt saved, we have scales over our eyes..that means your daughter too. So the best thing you can do for her if shes not on fire for Jesus ( which people usually are if you've recieved Christ and meant it) You should just Pray for her and ask God to protect her mind and Body from temptation and also pray that she receives Christ as her savior, becuase if she doesnt have that..she does not have a foundation to base any moral standards on. The world system FAILS as far as moral standards and teenagers..because whats the point right? we've all done "it" what teens do! so the people in the world cant keep their kds from rebelling because they are rebelling against God themselves. SO with that said..dont take worldly advice. Talk to your father in Heaven and start praying for your daughter. Dont be legalistic eather..( read Galatians) It will only make her rebell even more. Instead Trust in God and your prayers. THe bible says "prayers of the righteous acomplish Much" Its never to late to have your own bible studies with your daughter ( dont be manipulative though because its witchcraft Col2) Just start reading the word with her and be open and honest. Like i said...start with the Gospels and make sure you read Corinthians. Let her know that satan is a LIar and he wants her to fail her faith..She is a sinner, but Jesus loves her..and God tells what to do and what NOT to do ( like kissing boys) because he knows its not good for our souls and it lead down to other sins..which then we have left our father..because we begin to "practice unrighteousness" which the bible is CLEAR if you PRACTICE sin in your life ( no repentence) you will not inherit the Kingdom of God. Galatians 5..and 1john 2.

I had to share with you that I was such a chicken today. I went to the mall, went into Claires and decided that I was going to get Kaylees ears pierced. As soon as I saw them pierce another little girls ears, I got emotional and walked out of the store!!
