Tuesday, 3 June No way would I want to travel right now. By 31 weeks, you've put on alot of weight, ankles may be swollen, fatigue has set in......I would feel like I would ruin my gf's fun by complaining and being miserable! dasha -
Tuesday, 3 June Hi there. Um. Travelling around 31 could be really cool, or really shitty. I suppose Abbotsford-Hawaii isn't as bad as Montreal-Hawaii, but just the same, I'd ask your doctor. I made the trip out your way from the east when I was 21 weeks, and it was pretty okay, except that you really have to be careful if you fall asleep on the plane. I did, and was on my right side, and woke up completely nauseous and dizzy because I'd been cutting off blood flow to the little one and almost puked/passed out all at once. It was really really scary. I'd say, if its less than a 6 hour flight, go for it. If more, honestly, I don't know if I'd be good with that right now. Your legs will probably be bothering you anyways, and finding comfortable positions to sit upright for long periods of time can be a challenge....Dunno. I guess this hasn't been very helpful. Ask your doctor his/her opinion. Tho I have to say that the idea of a week on the beach right now would be @#($@#$&! amazing....but remember, you're not really allowed to tan, either (i think its something to do with the risk of sunstroke/cooking the kid), so just lazing in the sun and soaking it up isn't really a good idea, which is a total shame....If you guys can go a little earlier, maybe when you're more around 25 weeks, you might enjoy it more. Those of us at 31 weeks are pretty freakin' tired all the time, so it might also be a challenge to keep up with the energy level of your non-preggo friends....Think about it, and good luck! TWINSX2 -
Saturday, 31 May Hi, I saw your post about the rash! I have had the same thing at some point in all of my pregnancies. Unfortunately, nothing has helped get rid of it, but calmine and benadryl lotions help with the itching. I also found that Hydrocortisone sometimes help reduce the inflammation and decrease the itch! Good luck! sargsmom -
Saturday, 24 May thank you!!! i think we are going to paint and put some nice qoutes we have found on it and her 3d scan pic and then the belly mold will be artsy!!!! AprilChristine -
Tuesday, 13 May nah, i wasn't really gaining too much right after I went off. I was still losing believe it or not, until about 18 weeks, I finally gained some. but then around 24 weeks I started to put on weight fast, but that I think was mainly from the gestational diabetes. Now i'm back to losing a bit, cause I'm on a G/D diet.
best wishes to you too:) abby07-18-08 -
Tuesday, 13 May hi there,
it definately took time to adjust being off..i gained the 14 lbs i lost the first trimester back and so ive had pre pregnancy net gain of about 20 lbs. im petfried i they will miss the epidural placement, due to teh excess weight.

Monday, 12 May I was on metaformin, and I took clomid to get preggers. I stayed on the metaformin for about 12 weeks. haven't had any problem sleeping though. I have been fortunate with that at least. Lots of women on here have trouble sleeping, but not I. I did however end up with gestational diabetes. that's no fun. :(, but only 6 weeks to go!
good luck and congrats on your pregnancy. sorry I couldn't be much more helpful. am84 -

Sunday, 4 May Congrats on your baby also!! Thanks for your input on my shower situation. I talked today with my friends and decided that we are going to have it together as planned. I really didn't want to rob the other lady of a blessing by having mine apart from her. I thought about it a lot last night and I think that to have it together is the right thing to do. I thank you for your confirmation...It is what I needed to hear. I hope you have a great prenancy and take care, keep in touch :) God Bless!
