hey, everyone! i will be 8 weeks tomorrow! my husband and i are very excited about having our first baby. so many changes have already been happening and there are so many to come. we are looking forward to this adventure together. i thought that i would be more worried and nervous about everything, but to my surprise i am just happily going with the flow. i hope that everything continues to go smoothly, but we will just have to wait and see what happens. i do have bad heartburn and nauseu everyday, and i am exhausted...goes with the territory...right? i look forward to hearing about how everyone else here is doing! good luck to everyone!

HI!!! I haven't been on here in forever. I did have the baby, July 4th, labored for 36 hours and didn't get past 1 cm and 90%, was on pitocin for over 12 hours it did nothing, except make the contractions come stronger! So she was delivered at 8:20 pm via c-section, and we found out that her head was crooked in the womb, so she never would've come vaginally! It didn't take long to get back on my feet and have already lost 40 lbs still have more to go plus some! Hope all is well with you and you're little one :)

Doing well, have PUPPS all over my belly, and feet are swollen to the max! and still no baby :( there has been little to no progress with dialation, I'm thinning but that's it, they think it will be next week, but aren't going to let it go much longer than that, so if she doesn't come by herself it will be an induction..which I don't really want, but I do want her to be here. My mil is convinced it will be this Saturday b/c it's her father's b-day, the lady here at work is convinced it will be today she said 10:30 am, nope its 10:56. I told hubby she will have red-hair, has to b/c she's being so stubborn!
Glad to hear you guys are doing well! I bet you have your hands full, but a happy hand full :) I can't wait to see pics

Congrats!! I am going in for my c-section tomorrow morning. Your delivery sounds like it went very smooth. I am so happy for you. YEAH!!!!!CONGRATULATIONS :) I'm doing good, finally 1 cm according to doc thinning, but he thinks as soon as she is fully engaged I'll go fast and now I have PUPPS!!! GRRRARGH! I am so happy for you, you both are healthy?? I will have to check your page for pics!

my doctor said that if they keep messing with your cervix time after time, and there is nothing going on that there is risk of infection b/c of the foreign object being in there. I think it's bs but whatever, I go today so hoping they check b/c at 38 weeks I would think it would be good to know. One of the nurses mentioned that if I was opened enough they might strip the membranes and see what progresses. I sure hope something happens soon, I am so tired of being miserable 24/7!!!

Sounds like you are getting ready for labor. I worked all weekend and I am sooo tired. Today was my last day:) I am 3 cm dilated which is great but I am still planning on having the c-section Thursday unless I go into labor before that which seems likely. I have been contracting all day today. I will let you know what happens for sure. We have to keep in touch ok? Thinking of you!!! Good luck if you go before me:)

That is great news about your cervix. There is really no telling when we might go into labor. It is so unpredictable. I have been contracting a lot the past two days and I am starting to think I might not make it to My c-section Thursday. I am nervous as I am sure you are too. But, I am also excited. I work twelve hours both Sat. and Sun. so that might push me into labor. I will email you Monday if I am still pregnant:) Let me know how you are doing ok? Take it easy...baby will be here anytime:)

doctor was totally uneventful, besides the high blood pressure, it was 170/90 and then they did the tilt test and it dropped to 124/40...very aggravating. THey didn't check again, frustrating but he said from the symptoms that I am "probably dialted". Whatever, I'm just anxious, I know they don't do it b/c of infection but grrrrr. I am having the pelvic pain, and more painful contractions. The worst though is the indigestion, I can barely eat and I feel like my stomach and esophagus are on fire, and then if I can eat, I get sick after. I have to force feed just to make sure I get enough nutrition. Can you tell that I'm venting??? Sorry, I am jsut so ready to meet my little girl!!!!!!!!

Sounds like you are making progress!! I don't know if I'm scared, I guess that's what I'm feeling more apprehension than anything, I have no idea what this whole experience is going to be like, I think that's what if anything scares me most. Last night I was having weird pains, I swore they were gas, but my hubby got all excited "I bet you're having a contraction" he kept saying over and over with this huge smile on his face! It was really cute, and he tried so hard to make me feel better, but I knew it was really gas! I go tomorrow so I'll see what they say, hopefully we've made progress 18 days until dd so who knows. It's funny we've waited 9 months, and these last weeks seem to be the longest of all!!

That is great about the furniture coming. That is always exciting. I am ten days out from my c-section and boy am I nervous! Just eat lighter foods like yogurt, fruit, toast, nothing too fatty and you should be just fine. It sounds like you are doing great. If I do not hear from you if you deliver, email when you get around to it to let me know!! I will do the same. All is well, just huge and tired:)

I'm not sure if it hurt, or it was so ackward and that made it so uncomfortable! I never heard anything from mine, i have the kind of ob that doesn't tell you anything unless it's bad, so if you don't hear you don't worry, I guess! I'm doing ok, extremely uncomfortable as I feel like I have a knife in my lowers everytime I stand up! I keep having contractions, but not frequent enough to mean anything. Lost the plug last week, which was gross!! Guess it just means we're getting closer. What did you find out at the doctor when you went?? Seeing the light at then end of the tunnel?? Hope all is well

Hi Abby,
Yeah it is hard to feel the baby sometimes at this point. Losing your mucus plug really means nothing. Now if you start to have bloody show or bloody mucus consistently then that would mean youre heading into labor (usually). However, the whole mucus plug thing is really just a wives tale. You could have that gone now and not deliver until after your due date. It is just hard to tell. Most women with their first deliver a few days before or just after their due date, so do not be surprised if you get into your 39th week and still have not delivered. I decided to sign the VBAC consent just in case I go into labor before June 19. If not, then I plan on having a repeat c-section that day. I am scared too. It is so normal to feel that way right now. They did my Group B strep test too. Anyway, my best advice to you in regards to labor is if you go into labor and your water has not broken, stay at home as long as you can before coming to the hospital. Also, eat something before you go in because they will not feed you anything once you get there. If your water breaks and you are not bleeding abnormally or anything, take a shower, eat, and then go in. Basically, once you get to the hospital, you do not get as much freedom to work with your labor and once you get an epidural, you are in bed for the rest of labor. If you have any other questions, let me know:)Everything is going great for me. We are almost done moving into my mom's. I have to work this weekend and next weekend and then I am done and ready to have the baby! I guess if I go into labor at work, it is not a big deal since it is on labor and delivery! Keep in touch.

Yes, let me know how your apt. goes too. We are moving in with my parents this week since I think I may deliver earlier than June 19. I decided I did not want to deal with the whole piece after a c-section due to pain. So, I will have access to the computer fully by the end of this week into next week. We plan on being here until Aug. 5 or so. We will be here for good by June 13 at the latest. Email when you get a chance!! Thinking of you.

Moving went well. It was sooo hard though. I was thinking I might go into labor! They checked my cervix and I am 2 cm dilated. I have not fully decided whether or not to try to VBAC. I plan on discussing it with my dr. on Weds. I worked this weekend too. I basically feel I might deliver sooner than my c-section. Let me know how your appointment goes. I hope you are doing well. We are trying to pack our home up by this Friday. We will be living at my mom's from June 13- Aug 4. and then moving into a new home. We are sooo busy and I hope I do not throw myself into labor. sorry has taken so long to write, I am a total absent minded! So doc definetly did the check...it was uncomfortable to say the least. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but it's been awhile since that area has seen action

so needless to say, I am closed and thick a little dissapointing but oh well I guess! They also did the group B strep, which I haven't heard results on, so figuring is ok! Have you been to doc recently? How are you feeling?? Just think not much longer

I will be interested to hear about what your doctor thinks. I have a lot of bh too but this time they hurt! Anyway, we sold our home today so we will be moving in with my mother at the by June 14! I hope this does not send me into labor. Our new home should be complete by late July. We are soooo relieved but I cannot help being stressed too. I decided we should move out before my c section since I will be in too much pain to do it after. I have gained 28 pounds so far. Looking gigantic. Baby measures two weeks early but I want him to stay inside so we can move! Last time I could not wait to deliver. Anyway, I am thinking of you and once we get moved in here, I will have access to the computer again so we can chat. Please let me know how you are doing. I had my baby shower yesterday. How are you doing? Sorry it has been so long. Looks like we will not be hooking our internet up until after we move. So, I will check this at least once per week. Cannot believe we are already 34 weeks. Are you doing ok? I am sooo tired now. Having a two year old and trying to move, and carry a big baby is tough. I am still working too. How about you?
