HELLOOOO!!!!

As most of you know me, im Izzie lol, 21 from Warrington UK. Was pregnant for EVER lol, in fact i was pregnant for 42 weeks and a day lol.

On August 26th I FINALLY had my yellow bump, who despite my obsession turned out to not be a boy at all but a little tiny weeny perfect girly. She is ADORABLE! She was only 6lb 8oz and for 15 days over due that's pretty small lol but shes fine

We had a bit of a scare at first as she wasn't breathing and had to get oxygen given to her as the cord was round her neck:( made me cry! was very undignifeid loads of doctors n midwives running around rubbing her n giving her oxygen while my legs were up in stirops and my bits on show to the world and andy running from Amy to me to Amy to me to check on us both

ooo n the dirty madame pood in me when she came out!! CHARMING lol

Me and Andy are doing really well hes a natural at been a daddy which doesn't surprise me really, I knew he would be, its taken me a bit of time to adjust, a didn't wake up the first 3 nights she was here when she cried lol had to be woken up by a midwife and andy lol but im okay now:D

shes been a good girly now at night aswell and eitehr sleeps straigh through or wakes up for a few 10 minute feeds and thats it and goes straight back to sleep.

Shes utterly perfect and i adore her, i already cant imagine my life without her been here, Andys the same, he got all upset when he had to go back to work as he wants to be here to help out.

My house is a pig stye but i cant be botehred tidying it when Amys asleep coz i 1) want sleep too 2)wanna come on here to say hello to all my girlys 3)have to eat lol but ill get round to tidying up soon enough :)

Well i managed to get on top of things and my house and everything in it including me and Andyroo are going Really well! Were really happy hes amazing with Amy and even im pretty good at it whih i never expected Unfortunatly im suffering from pnd but Andy and I and my doctors are all working throguh it and its showing me theres a silver lining somewhere lol,

Amy is doing sooooo well shes such a cutey! she smiles and giggles at everything and has the worlds strongest little legs ever shes constantly kicking herself up and splashing about in her bath its adorable:D she seems to be a very happy little girlypops:D

I think without insulting or anything that would come off offensive, I would talk to Andy and tell him you think its great that Amy get to spend time with his family, but you really want her to spend time with your family as well. Does he ever notice how controlling his mother is? If he does then he needs to be encouraged to stand up not only for himself, but you and Amy and that he's man enough to take care of his own family. I've been alright today, haven't done too much just feel so miserable to move a lot now haha.xxx

hun how is she doing? i bet youve been frantic with worry.

holiday was great i did a lot of sunbathing and swimming, maia loved swimming so much she was so cute. i went paragliding which was fab i loved it so much would do that again anytime.

maia has had the runs for the past 4 days now im taking her to the doctor tomorrow im worried about her not getting enough fluids. argh motherhood is hard huh?

how did things go with andy?

Ha ha that's funny! Your "in-laws" sound horrible I would have gone off on them already, I've gone off on my hubby plenty since he's been home lol!
They thought maddi had an infection one time and had to do a catheter thingy and that was just horrible! I hope they don't have to do that to Ethan at all. We have been so lucky with him that he's not been sick and I've not been sick or gotten any infections or anything like that with the bfing. I hope I never do but I'm bracing myself for when it happens.
Ethan likes to spit up a bit after he's ate but I think it may be him eating too much, he's greedy! And he likes the comfort he gets from momma cause I swear it's like 5 mins from me picking him up and he's being fussy and wanting food even if he's already just ate! He loves his momma I guess!
I been having to get up at like 4am this week so we've been putting him to bed no later than 930-1000, yesterday it was 800 and he woke at 300 this morning which was ok with me, he didn't the night before so I had to pump before I went to work, missed the alone time with him, and then I was in so much pain yesterday cause the planes took too long leaving so it had been like 6 hrsish from pump to pump so I was hurtin!
When's the u/s? How'd she heal from her little surgery?

course you will my darling... the nice thing is... i think those of us who have been through hell with our mothers in law know what it's like and therefore have a bit of insight and are able to be better MILs in future... X

It's seriously unethical that they're talking to her and not you... and I'd tell them so... they are meant to call YOU to let you know what's happening, not her, the silly tart.

What's this I see about Amy going to the hospital again?! And damn right she has no right to do anything with the medical stuff, tell her if she doesn't butt out you will call the cops cause they are not supposed to be talking to anyone about Amy but you, unless you sign some kind of form stating that you allow them to discuss it with someone else, but they still can not do anything(your mil I mean) she shouldn't be able to do anything with appts or anything so I suggest you find someone of authority at that hospital and tell them if they don't stop with the bullshit then your going to the cops, you might want to try and document something if you have to though because they'll ask how you knwo or something ya know and you want to have a leg to stand on.
How have you been?? It's been a while I been so busy with work and baby and everything I'm hardly online anymore except at work and then they expect me to work, what's that all about damn it!!!

Well you're within your right to, and they all know they're doing wrong... it's one thing if she finds out certain information because it's her shift, but they are not entitled to use her as a "middle man" to relay information about your daughter to you... and it would work, you just have to put your foot down, because they all know they'd be in deep sh*t if you were to complain... Don't let her intimidate you, this is your daughter! and they by law may of course not give Amy substandard treatment for you saying anything, they'd all be up on criminal charges if you even caught a wiff of it! It doesn't even have to be anonymous, but that's just me... I'd kill the lot of em

Oh noooooo hon, you've got the quintessential nosy parkery $(^%�&^%(^�%($& annoying mother in law... tell her to butt the hell out and tell Andy to tell her where to get off.. Amy is YOUR daughter, YOU'LL take her to the U/s and I would tell those nurses straight that they are to talk to YOU, not her. You're right, under 16's they should speak to the parent/legal guardian, and your MIL is neither of those... seriously, I'd have words with the nurses and tell her where to get off, and if the nurses got funny with you... take her to another hospital... that's malpractice and they're not allowed to do that. As for her checking your medical records, it IS illegal. That's confidential as between you and your therapist, and if you choose to include Andy, then that's your choice, but she has nothing to do with it and therefore should just butt out!

GRRRR gawd I'm so angry for you! I thought MY mil was an interfering tart... yours takes the cake! I don't think you're wrong to get worked up about this, but just remember to use a bit of spine with those nurses... they all think they know best. Next time they want to contact anyone, you go through with them, delete her contact details, give them yours, and tell them that even if she calls, they are NOT to disclose anything to anyone other than you. If you show em a bit of spine and get commanding with them, they usually hop to... but if you don't then they just keep doing things the way they're doing, and inform them that if they go against your wishes again, you'll be reporting the lot of them... ARGH

Oh honey I'm SO SORRY to hear!!! Will she be ok? Don't you DARE listen to his mum, she's a right cow, and has NO right to say that to you... you just tell her that as a grandparent she has no rights to that child, and if she keeps treating you that way and making you feel worse than you do, then she'll not see Amy! I hope Andy is at least standing up for your honour whenever she does. This is NOT your fault! Some babies are just sickly, darling, and it's nothing you've done, nor anything you could have done to avoid it... I was the same as a baby, in and out constantly of the hospital... and I'm perfectly fine now, as Amy will be. You're both in my thoughts every day, please keep me posted. I just want to cry for you!

Aww thanks hun!! I enjoy talking to you too ^^ I think if his family backed off a bit and gave you space and some room to breath I think they'd see Amy often and everyone would be happy. If his mom was trying to be helpful she should of let you either go in the room all alone with Amy or came in and remained quiet so you could do all the talking. I think in the future if she suggests to come, tell her no thanks, and tell her you appreciate the thought. I think she just needs to know her place, her being in Amy's life isn't a right its a privlege. You and Andy are the parents and are old enough to take care of your little girl.xxxxx

You'll probably want to express and have about 4-5 ounces per feeding. My son is 10 weeks and takes in 4.2 ounces per feeding (I've weighed him before and after to know how much he transfers). He is on the small size but a big appetite. The Lactation Consultant said he should take at least 3.5oz per feeding at this age and with his size, which is why I suggested a little more per feeding for your kiddo.

as for sexy hairdos i wear mine kinda like carmel in hollyoakes only not so fringy! then at night if i unclip it its all crazy and wavy shove some serum and wax though and wear too much mascarra.. ok.. im soooo not sexy !!!!
