I need to get online more often. jake is almost 7 months old. he is such a wonderful baby and I cant believe that he is mine!!!!!! But we have a huge problem. Jake started sleeping through the night at 2 months, now he wakes up every 1 to 2 hours to nurse and go back to sleep. I cant take it anymore. I need some good advice........

Feb 4th, week 29.

Its already week 29. not much longer to go. 10 or so more weeks, and thats going to fly by. My babu shower is march 8th. I cant wait. Right now, josh and i have nothing for jake. Well, we have lots of clothes, and even more hangers, but as far as furniture goes, we have nothing. We registered for everything, and what we dont get we will have to buy asap. We are going to paint the nursery pretty soon. I hope jake doesnt decide to come too early, we are so not ready. I cant wait to meet my little guy. No one in my family has boys, so this is so exciting for everyone!!!! I feel great, and I feel jake move all the time. Last night he was going crazy in my belly for like 10-15 minutes he wouldnt stop moving. When i told josh to come feel it, Jake stopped as soon as he put his hand on my belly! I see the dr every other week now! Im still measuring a little big! I cant believe that this pregnancy is almost over!!

JAN 24

GOOD NEWS! I PASSED MY 3 HOUR DIABETES TEST! I AM SO THANKFUL THAT I PASSED. I FEEL GREAT, AND I FEEL JAKE ALMOST ALL DAY LONG, KICKING AWAY. I CANT FIGURE OUT HOW HE IS LAYING IN MY BELLY. SOMETIMES I FEEL HIM ON MY BLADDER, AND VERY LOW! AND THEN I FEEL HIM KICKING AT THE VERY TOP OF MY TUMMY, LIKE RIGHT UNDER MY BOOBS! I LOVE IT!!!! I HAVE HAD THE WORST HEARTBURN LATELY, SO BAD THAT IT MAKES ME THROW UP!!!! IS ANNOYING! I HAVE ANOTHER DR APT FEB 6TH, AND IF I AM STILL MEASURING BIG, I GET ANOTHER UULTRASOUND! I REALLY WANT ANOTHER ULTRASOUND!!!!!

So, I failed my 1 hour glucose test last week. I was shocked. I honnestly thought I would pass. So, I had to do the 3 hour test. It was awful. I was starving, and bored, and I had the worst headache ever. They took my blood 5 times, I want expecting that either. I should find out sometime soon if I passed or failed. I do not want to follow a restricted diet, but also, i do not want a huge baby boy!!! Jake has been very very active lately.... i love it when he moves. Other than that not much going 0n.....

ITS A BOY!!!!!!!!!

I found out Dec 13 that we are having a boy!!!!! I just knew it was going to be a boy. The big ultrasound was so much fun. The past week has been great for me. I felt him move alot. Especially during the ultrasound, he was very active. They said everything looks great, he is 15 oz. They didnt tell me how long he was .... but he's healthy and so am I. My headaches are going away........ I kinda hate to say that, cuz everytime time I do, I seem to get a headache...... We decided on the name JAKE JORDAN!!!!!!!!!

December 10th

I love being pregnant. I am 21 weeks pregnant and feeling great! No more morning sickness. I do get heart burn every now and then and its not that bad. I dont think i have felt my baby move yet. When i was about 16 weeks pregnant i felt a kick and i havent felt anything like that since. Sometimes i think i feel a movement, but then i'm not sure. So who knows. I have my big ulrtrasound on Thursday! I cant wait. I've taken lots of the gender tests online, and they all say a boy. So i mosly think its a boy. But I have baby girl dreams at night......... My husband Josh is wonderful!!!! and he is so excited about our baby as well.

wow, i didnt even know about this site until today. i love it. i am 12 weeks pregnant. it my first. and i feel ok. i had a few horrible weeks, but now i am feeling much better. i still get headaches alot. But other than that i feel good. i have a dr apt next week. !!!! i am super excited about being pregnant!

Todat I feel good. But every morning i wake up with cramps in my legs. After i take a shower they go away, but its just annyoing. This weeks is so much better than the last.

EVERYTHING IS GOING GREAT. I HAD MY 12 WEEK ULTRASOUND, ALONG WITH THE NT TEST. I WAS A BIT NERVOUS ABOUT THAT BUT THE U/D LOOKED GREAT. STILL WAITING ON MY BLOOD TEST RESULTS. I THOUGHT I WAS DONE WITH THE MORNING SICKNESS, BUT IT SEEMS TO COME BACK EVERY NOW AND THEN. NOTHING AS BAD AS THOSE EARLY WEEKS. WE GOT TO SEE OUR LITTLE BABY KICKIN' AND SWIMMING AROUND, AND SUCKING ITS THUMB. THE ULTRASOUND TECH WASNT ABLE TO TELL ME THE SEX. I'LL HAVE TO WAIT TILL MY 20 WEEK ULTRASOUND. I DONT FEEL LIKE I AM GETTING ANY BIGGER, BUT WHEN I EAT MY BELLY BLOWS UP. ITS CRAZY! I LOVE IT.

hi everyone. i havent updated in a while. I am now 17 weeks pregnant. and I feel good. Morning sickness still comes around every now and then. I a dr apt tomorrow. just a check up. not an ultrasound. dr says i have to wait till i am 20 weeks along, but I am still excited to hear the hear beat. Last couple of times i went it was high, so I am thinking a girl, just based on that. but my gut tells me that i'm having a boy. Either way, I love being pregnant. I havent gained much weight, but i am getting bigger by the day. I deffinatly look a little bit pregnant. My husband and I are great, He loves the way i look pregnant, and he talks to our baby all the time. I have only felt one KICK a few flutters, so I am still waiting for more Kicks. Other than that not much new with me.

I had my 17 week dr apt yesterday. It went well. I got to hear the babys heart beat, it was 153. My dr didnt measure my stomach. And i got some blood work done to test for downs and a few other things. I am feeling pretty good. still getting headaches, actually i have one right now. I havet really felt much movement. i felt a POP and a KICK and thats it. My dr said i probably wont feel anything for a cuople more weeks. My next dr apt is the BIG one. Dec 13th. I cant wait. I get to bring a CD so we can record the ultrasound. I'm so excited. This will be my last ultrasound. I love ultrasounds. I've had 3 so far. I'm starting to get a hairy belly. How lame is that? I want to shave it. cuz i'm not showing my HAIRY belly to anyone. This so far is the worst of my pregnancy!!!!!!!!

I havent updated my page in a while. Everything is going great, Jake kicks me all the time, all day long some days, and somedays he barely moves. I feel good. I have gained 24 pounds so far. I have my glucose test tomorrow. And i cant wait to hear jakes heartbeat. I really want one more ultrasound but my Dr said I porbably wont be getting one! I `m just waiting to meet my little guy!!!! I cant believe April is just around the corner!!!!! yeah!!!!

Congrats on your pregnancy. I am also due in April. I am having a little girl. How far along were you when you went for your ultrasound? Our little girl was 14 oz at the time of ours (20 weeks). I asked the dr how long she was but they told me they don't measure that anymore!

hello. I just wanted to tell you not to worry about having your shower that late. I do understand how you feel though. My mother-in-law threw my shower when i was prego with my daughter and she planned it 11 days before i was due. It drove me crazy! I ended up having my daughter9 days after my shower. So, it all worked out, and I bet you will be fine too.

I too have been working on my nursery. This is my first child and I am hoping to have 3 children one day! I don't know what I am having yet, but I should find out very soon! Anyway...so I painted the walls a nice soft mint green and got the Winnie the pooh border and wall appliqués from Walmart, and decorated the room and it looks great! (If I do say so myself...lol) Anyway I figure that a neutral theme will make it easier for future pregnancies if I decide not to redecorate and also it eliminates the not knowing the gender problem. Just thought I'd share my 2 cents with you. Good Luck on your nursery...let me know what you decide.

To help with the cold you can take extra Zinc. My prenatal vitamen has 15 mg in it (I take it at night) and I cut a pill of Zinc in half (a 50 mg tablet) and take it in the morning. You shouldn't take more than 40 mg a day. I split mine up because its one of those vitamens that what you don't use you pee out. Of course check with your doc first and make sure he/she says its okay. But Zinc is supposed to boost your immune system. I began taking it recently. I had been sick since before Halloween and after two rounds of antibotics I decided to try something else. My Mom & Dad take it daily and haven't been sick this fall/winter, even though I see them daily, they never picked up my colds/sinus infections. Now if only I could find it kid friendly for my 3 yr old. Also its very cheap, the bottle I bought I got at the local grocery store for less than $2. Good luck!

hey! i saw your post and i'm 25 weeks pregnant an my lil girl normally only moves about in th a.m. From time to time se gets the hiccups which is cool. I'm sure everything is fine. Sending you lots of happy baby wishes!!!!!

thanks for the input about headaches. i read somewhere that it should lessen in the 2nd trimester. i'm just a little paranoid about this pregnancy with the problems we had. thanks for reassuring me that it is quite normal. take care, good luck and god bless.

The thing that you have to be careful for, is if you are bottle and breast feeding, make sure you get the slowest possible nipple for the bottle, the baby can get frusterated with breast feeding if the bottle feeding is much easier for it, my son got that way at 6 months old, and refused to breast feed anymore. So we stopped.

I tried pumping here and there with a hand pump, but when I got a pump machine, I swear I felt like a cow on a milking machine, I couldn't stand it! I mainly used formula when bottle feeding. The thing is, that they don't really tell you, is that when you breast feed, your breasts get so swollen with milk, that even the slightest pressure on your breast and milk starts spraying out, if the baby is asleep or not hungry, the milk goes to waste, so pumping can be helpful too, the manual one wasnt' bad, the mechanical one, geez. Medela or something, top of the line, was what I used, and it was terrible, hurt my boob and I pity the cows on those machines. I mainly breast fed and formula fed, but sometimes the baby had a treat of breast milk in a bottle.

I know what you mean about the heeartburn- at night is the worst!!!! aww...I guess the old wives tail sayd our babies will have a full head of hair when they are born( if the heartburn persists). I know what you mean about not being able to wait for the baby. I just got a crib and bassinette and I look at it everyday imagining my little one in there. It's way too exciting! one of the best christmas gifts any of us could have!

That's good, I feel great too. I think this is one of the best most comfortable months we will have. I still have bad heartburn-and the baby is dancing on my bladder and kicking around there too..so after numerous trips to the bathroom it gets tiring, but other than that doing great!
Do you drink tea?? I heard chamomile tea (decafff) really helps peopel to get comfy and sleepy...it's worth a try :)

yah my husband has felt her move several times! he put his head on my belly one night when we were laying down and she kicked him in the head!! it was so funny! he loves feeling her move. at first it will be like that, moving ony when your being still, the kicks stronger and harder as you get farther! also when you walk around during the day, it rocks the baby to sleep. do you know what your having yet??

Congrats on finding out you're having a boy! I kind of think mine is a boy too, but time will tell I guess! The chinese gender test says it'll be a boy, so we'll see... but every other test I've taken is literally about 50% chance of a girl, 50% chance of a boy! Sooo annoying! Oh well, thanks for your comments. I hope all continues to go well for you!

Were you able to find out what your having yet? I'm wondering because all the gender tests and predictor stuff I did said boy too but I was having girl dreams @ night just as you are. Guess what, It's a girl! We found out Dec. 3 and are super excited even though we were convinced boy! Let me know and good luck!
