Thanks hun! I'm better today but I thought I was losing my mind earlier in the week and told my husband that I was taking a vaction away from the drama :) He just laughed and said, "we'd just follow you!"

Hey! Not to worry about the moods..I have cried 4 times in the last 3 days. The reasons range from my son looking at colleges to go to in 2009, LOL, to my hubby talking about his mom who passed away 5 years ago and then finally Mother's day seems extremely emotionally overwhelming! It has been a week!

Have you thought about hanging something to keep the sides seperate so she can have like a little princess hideaway and his can look boyish. I don't know how the room is set up so that might not work. My daughter is five and she loves little hideaways and I hang sheer drapes and lights. It looks super cute :) Good luck~

Jennifer - Thursday, 8 May
Just some suggestions in your room....how about doing it in classic crayon colors.great for kids, each can add a personal touch, and you can find lots of thigs with that color combo for cheap. Talk to your little one about it....see what she thinks....Good Luck!

Pachy - Thursday, 8 May
Hi Jaclyn, I've been reading your posts for a few days now, I know you are stressed out about your children's room, maybe your daughter will feel more comfortable if you used a neutral color for the new set up of her room. I don't have any children yet, but I live in a 1 br apartment (NY, of course), and until we find a $uitable apartment I'm not moving, so, we will have the baby in our room, I plan to paint the room in white, or light beige, and the wall where his crib is going to be a cute shade of green, then a nice border, maybe brown, green & blue (no animals, sports or jungle themes for me). I' ll just try to keep it neutral, not too much baby blue. I hope his helps you a little!! Feel better.

Hey, I'm an interior designer and a boy's room doesn't have to be blue and a girls pink. Why not choose a color that suits both? I'm doing my baby's room in green and turquiose. The theme is geometrics - very gender neutral, but it's going to be great and a room any little boy or girl will love. Try to think a little more outside the box - I'm sure you little girl would love to have a room makeover so long as it suits her tastes too =) Good luck!

I found that eating bannanas and drinking milk help with the toe cramps LOL Those are the worst pain for me :D hope it works for you!!

Just a note to say persevere with the whole bed change thing. I have always found that a couple of weeks of being consistent and persevering pays off in the long run. When you back down or give in, it makes it all the harder. Put in the hard slogger for a couple of weeks, tolerate the crying knowing that it is not a life threatening thing and before you know it she will be settled. All the best.

Beckaboo - Monday, 5 May
OMG! I know, we are in great discomfort, but we both know the joys the baby will bring :)

Hi Ya,
My kids have always shared rooms and have loved it. I have never had any major issues. My eldest daughter now has her own room, she's almost 12 now and has coped fine up until now. At one stage I had three in one room. It has it's advantages because there are less rooms to tidy in the morning and less space to be messed up. I think sharing brings the siblings closer together and forces them to learn to share and respect each others things.

MamaMirage - Friday, 2 May
Hi there! My baby boy due August 9th will have to share a room with his nearly-2-year-old sister also! Not sure how that's gonna work out. I have no plans yet for decorating, I'm still at a loss! I'm thinking of dividing the room in half and putting my daughter's girly stuff on one half and boyish stuff on the other half because I want them each to have an area that's just for them. I don't know for sure yet though. Let me know if you get any good decorating ideas!

fabforty - Friday, 2 May
We are really good. Just counting down the weeks and can't wait to see our little bundle! Tons of projects going in the house since hubby wants the house to be baby ready before he gets here :) I just grin and bare it as it's better than him being lazy and not getting things done :)

firsttimemomtobe - Thursday, 1 May
I feel your pain!! My boyfriend, is a good guy, but man he is just lazy lately! Like you, it's day to day pain or just flat out exhaustion. The least he could do is make dinner, or pick up after himself. Do the couple little things I ask him to do, without me having to ask a million times! Instead, I find myself doing all of the cleaning, cooking, nursery organization, running errands, and then picking up where he never even started! It's just craziness. Just wanted to let you know your not the only one! Bless u, u have another child at home. I can't even imagine, this is my first. Ur an angel, and make that man, rub ur feet. It's the least he can do for u carrying his child :-)

fabforty - Thursday, 1 May
Hey- Read your post yesterday or should I say your book :) Men are just goofy that way. My husband doesn't do the video game thing but If I try to do it all he will most definitely let me. I had to take the stand of letting things go in our house and he and my son now clean up. He can be a neat freak occasionally, so he now understands that he and my son have to work around here cause Mom is out of commission :)

tiffjoy - Thursday, 1 May
I have never started growing in that area, this soon! I usually start filling out very close toward the end and then once my milk comes in. But this is ridiculous to be jumping up in sizes already!! I didn't breastfeed with my boys, so this will be a whole new experience, including the expanding cup size :o) Good luck to you as well!!

About the zit thing you posted.... I know what you mean. I swear I usually dont break out, but for some reason i have been with my pregnancy. Its always just one, maybe two at a time. Sucks! I hope it goes away for ya before your pics. Congrats on your pregnancy!

lacey - Monday, 28 April
Uhhhhhhg. I know what you mean about the heartburn. I finally went to the gastroinerologist and he put me on Acephex in the am and Zantac 150 at night if I need it. Stay away from red sauce (like tomatoe based things, caffine, chocolate). If you can it's better to eat small meals through out the day. If it happens at night, try to sit up, and bananas and milk are natural antacids....
I hope this helps, I know it can be sooooo uncomfortable and unbearable.
Lacey

Congrats on your pregnancy! We have the same due date =) Have you found out what you're having??

AlishaMommyof2 - Friday, 25 April
I heard about the Born Free bottles too but they are very expensive. I might get a couple but get a bunch of glass ones too.

hcorreia - Thursday, 24 April
I have put these bottles on my baby registry too. I am breastfeeding so I will not need alot of bottles but they make a great starter kit that has a few of each sizes and a sippy cup. Glad I could help.
