STCT - Tuesday, 11 November
I took Tavia to the Dr yesterday because she was a little swelling on the back of her head, almost feels like water. The Dr sent me to get a x-ray and everything came back normal so then she sent me to get a CT scan. About one hour after getting the scan the Dr called me and said everything is OK and it just could be from birth and it will go away. I'm so happy my little girl is OK. She did so good getting the scan done. I posted a picture, take a look.

I'm going back to work soon, I'll give it until the New Year to see if I can do it or need to be a stay at home mom. I'm going to start the interview process for child care (in home) what are some questions I should be asking when trying to find the right person to watch of my little girl?

Tavia had her 2 month check up yesterday and everything went pretty well beside I mentioned to the Dr she prefers to look to the left more then the right. After checking her over she said she has torticollis (tightening/twisted muscle in the neck) and I needed to take her the the physical therapist. I took her today. They gave me things to do with her at home and it should be corrected in the next 3-4 months. Yes, I cried. Felt like a bad mom but, it starts in the womb so there was nothing I could of done to prevent it. I'm just glad we caught it now because they said if we didn't treat in then she would need a helmet around 6 months.

Do you remember when I told you ladies about the chair my granny gave Tavia? Tavia's great great great grandfather made a chair for my granny's 8th birthday in 1951 she had it refinished and gave it to Tavia. I posted a picture.

She arrived on the 24th 6LB 11OZ 18.5IN Everything went amazing and wouldn't of changed anything. My epi did wear off about 1 hour before pushing and I'm glad it did so I was able to experience some contractions (five before getting more med) and work through them. My hubby was AMAZING and I feel in love with him all over again. Everything that I was stressing about was the easiest things... I was afraid of them breaking my water and getting the epi, didn't even know they did it. Congrats to everyone who also deliver. If you are still waiting for your bundle of joy then it will come soon and everything will be perfect.
