Hi all, just a brief introduction....
My husband and I got married last August, and went to the UK on a business trip in October, I left a couple of days before him to come home, and was at Heathrow airport waiting to catch my flight which was delayed by 5 hours. I had been feeling funny in my stomach for the previous 2 days, so went off to buy a pregnancy test, and got a BFP! I was in shock, so I bought another more expensive one, and got the same result - I'ts funny how we all have to do a least 2 or 3 tests to make sure that we aren't seeing things?!! What do we expect? a negative one after the positive? I got my HPT 5 days before my af was due.... So it seems like I've known forever!
Anyway, my husband joined me back home a week later, and that was when I broke the news to him! I tried to find a babygrow that said "Made in England" to give to him, but all I could find was "I love Daddy". So I wrapped it up and presented it to him. He says as soon as I brought out the gift - (which was wrapped) and started crying that he knew we were expecting!
Well, here we are, oficially 12 weeks today and so excited!! Went out and bought my first bit of Maternity clothes, as my own are starting to feel a little tight!
Our baby is due at the end of July, my husband would like to know the sex, but I am adamant that we are not going to find out... I'm waiting for the suprise at the end. So far this pregnancy has been great, no ms, cravings or anything like that, just a lot of worry that everything is going to be o.k, but I guess that everyone goes through that huh?!
Well am looking forward to getting to know some of you ladies, and wish you all the best with your pregnancies!
