(she HAS dropped...confirmed by my midwife...she is very, very low and her head is out of my abdomen and completely in my pelvis...the pressure is unbelievable!)

About my pregnancy:
My LMP was on August 21, 2007. I found out I was pregnant on October 6, 2007 with a HPT. I did not believe it at first, so I took 6 more tests the following week...then made on appointment with my OB-GYN. Based on my last menstrual period, I was given the EDD of May 27, 2008. On October 31, 2007, I got my 1st ultrasound and the baby was measuring 7 1/2 weeks so my due date was changed to June 13, 2008, meaning I must've conceived the baby on Friday, September 21, 2007. I had an ultrasound done on December 28, 2007, and the tech told us it was a girl! I had another ultrasound done on January 21, 2008, and again the tech told us it was a girl!

Take this survey | Find more surveys ----------------Update: 29 weeks---------------- I had my first 2 week appt today(my last one was just 2 weeks ago!!!). The doctor assured me that now time would seem to go by more quickly(sure hope so!). I've gained 4 lbs in the last 2 weeks which gives me a total weight GAIN of 7 lbs and I'm measuring 30 weeks. My BP was 128/72. ----------------Update: 31 weeks---------------- Baby is sideways...hope she doesn't stay there long and this is just her rotating into the right position! But for now I have a head on one side and a butt on the other with limbs dangling down. I've gained 3 lbs in the last 2 weeks giving me a GAIN of a total of 10 lbs. My BP was 122/70. They tried to give me a strep-b swab... poor new girl:( ----------------Update: 33 weeks---------------- Baby's heartbeat was 155. I've gained 1 lb. in the past 2 weeks. I get my strep-b test at my next appt in 2 weeks then I go every week after that! Cervix is dilated to 1.5 cm. Head is down. BP was 114/72. My pelvis feels like it is being ripped apart! ----------------Update: 35 weeks---------------- Cervix is still at 3cm and 75% effaced. I gained 6 lbs!!! So a total of 17! Baby's heartrate was 155-160. She was very active all day yesterday. Head is very, very low so baby has definitely dropped and is "locked and loaded." Will know results of strep-b swabs next week. BP was 120/80. Midwife says our goal is 37 weeks, but they won't stop labor if I go in the next 2 weeks. ----------------Update: 36 weeks---------------- Cervix is only "slightly" more effaced than last week and holding steady at 3. I lost 2 lbs, but that's only because it's "leveling off." Will know results of strep-b swabs later today. BP was 122/80. Midwife says she hopes not to see me til next week. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- | |

I don't want to really but in a way it could be good for me. My hubby will be home for a couple of weeks soon but I really want my baby before he's here or at least a day or two after he gets here. I want them to spend as time as they can before he goes back to Iraq b/c when he comes back it will be around Christmas and she'll be around 7 mos. By that age babies know who they want to hold them. I'll be 37wks on Sat. I have an appt today also and of course we're at the stage of being violated! Delivery room, talk about no privacy! There are so many people in your business at the hospital. Good luck mommy.......we don't have too much longer!

Your belly is so cute. Where did you find your swimsiut at? I have to get one but not sure where to look. And don't worry about your weight, you can lose it all after the baby comes, thats what i keep telling myself!

well ive been having really bad lightening pains, and he said he felt her head bulging, and to be ready. and it wasnt til after i went for a walk. and walking can induce labor. so i dont know what to think :/

That's what my doc prescribed for me and it has been AMAZING. All tests and ultrasounds show that my baby is doing good, so it must be fine. :)

I can totally relate to everything you say. The only thing I'm not experiencing is the heartburn. I complained about it enough to my doc that he prescribed prevacid and I've only had heartburn once since I started taking it three weeks ago!

You might need to call your doctor, I think that might be your mucous plug. With my first pregnancy I started having that at around 34 weeks, and I went to the doctor and they found out I was in labor, and had to stop it. They sent me home that night after labor stopped and I stayed home they next day but the day after that when I woke, my water broke. And it was on. Hopefully it isn't anything like that and you are having a good pregnancy, but just be careful.
