Hi, My name is Jenna. I'm engaged to the best man in the world, Josh! We've been together for 7 yrs. We have a wonderful 3 yr old boy, Aiden, and we are expecting a girl in April! We are very blessed, and wouldn't want it any other way! So far, our favorite name for our baby girl is Madison Claire (Maddy).

I'm very stressed lately! We moved into a VERY SMALL townhouse last August to save some money. I found out the day we moved in I was pregnant! It was too late to changed our minds about the move. So we decided to find another place before the baby came. Well, about 8 weeks left, and we're still in this crappy, old, 700 sq ft townhouse! Where am I gonna put the baby's stuff? I've been cleaning like crazy lately and it still feels dirty in here! We found a house, but we need to sublease our townhouse before we can move or we'll be stuck with two rent payments. We can't do that! I'm not sure if this guy is gonna hold the house for us until then. I'm getting my hopes up, and I know I should'nt. My poor fiance is trying so hard and he still has to listen to me whine every day when he gets home!

I must say, I don't feel well right now, but who does at this point? I was gonna say I feel great, but I'd be lying. I do however feel much better than I did at this point the last time I was pregnant. This pregnancy has overall been a lot easier. I have only gained about 25 lbs vs. about 60 lbs at 8 months last time! My pre-pregnancy weight was about the same both times, so I'm very pleased! I guess I get a little more excercise now, taking care of a 3 yr old. Before, I didn't have anyone to look after but myself, and I took advantage of being pregnant and ate whatever I wanted whenever I wanted because I love food! And I slept ALL THE TIME! Well, My next app. is in 2 days. Can't wait! I love going to the Dr. to see how my baby has grown. Oh, and we still haven't moved! :(

I had a check-up yesterday. Only gained 1lb in the last 2 weeks! For a total of 23lbs so far. Blood pressure was fine. Baby's heart beat was fine. My belly measured fine. I go for my next check-up in 2 weeks, when they'll start pelvic exams and test for Group B Strep. Oh joy! From then on I'll be going weekly! It's right around the corner and I'm still not even close to ready for her!

Ok, last week I went in for my 35 wk app. and gained 8 lbs in 2 weeks! I had dialated 1-2 cm and my BP was a little high. Today I went in for my 36 wk app. and lost 3lbs and my BP was fine. I didn't have an internal exam, but I'll be getting one next week. I also got to see my little girl! They estimated her weight at 6 1/2 lbs and the fluid is fine. That makes me so happy! I'm releaved to know she'll be big enough if she comes early!

My 37 week app. was yesterday. I gained no weight, BP was fine, and my tummy measured WAY BIG! 43 cm!!! I think that's as big as a uterus can get! I've dialated 2 cm, and I'm 50% efaced! That's a little exciting, but I was 2 cm for like 4 1/2 weeks with my first! For some reason I don't think she'll come early!

38 week app. - I gained 3 lbs., BP was fine! I've dialated to 3 cm!!! Her head is still up there. The Dr. said he wouldn't be suprised if I had her this week! I still don't feel like she's coming soon though! He said if I don't have her by next Wednesday then we'll schedule induction for the following week around my due date because she's measuring big! Sooo, I'll have a baby within the next two weeks! I'm so excited!!! I really wanna go into labor on my own though.

Friday morning I started having pains (Cramps, NOT Contractions) so I went in to be checked at 12. I was 5 cm. He said I wasn`t in active labor and he instructed me to go home and walk and come back at 3. So I went home and cleaned and went back at 3. I was a little more than 5 cm. so he sent me over to labor and delivery to be induced because we both figure it wouldn`t take long since my first was only 6hrs long. I got there at 3:30. They hooked me up to the IV. I started having contractions on my own at about 4:30, got the epidural at 6, he broke my water at 6:15 and I had my baby an hour later! I bled a little more than normal, so AFTER I had her they put me on pitocin to get my uterus contracting to stop the bleeding! We both went home Sunday morning. I`ve never been happier!!!
