More....

Hey there everyone...let me first start by introducing myself...I am Jamie. I am new to this site but I already love it. I am married to my high school sweetheart. We got married on July 23, 2001. My husband was in the United States Army at the time and we were stationed in Ft. Bragg, NC. Soon after we got married (about six weeks) was September 11, 2001. We were unsure on what the Army was going to do...we didnt know if he was going to have to be deployed or what so that is when I knew that I wanted a baby. We found out we were pregnant in the begining of October 2001 and a couple of weeks later I ended up miscarring the baby. I was so upset but knew that I wanted to start trying again as soon as we got the dr's ok. They told me to wait one cycle before ttc again. I did and in December I got pregnant. On Sept. 17, 2002 my daughter was born. My husband and I moved to Italy (for the army) when Mikayla was about 6 months old. About a month after being over in Italy my husband got deployed to Iraq. So Mikayla and I were living in Italy together and decided to come home for a visit in the middle of June 2003, then we got horrible news that his grandma was dieing. So my husband came home from Iraq to go to his grandma's funeral. We went back over to Italy together for about another few weeks or month before he got shipped back to Iraq. About a week after he left I was suppose to get my AF but it never showed so I did a HPT and low and behold I was pregnant. I went back to my hometown a few months later and stayed there until about my 6 1/2 or 7 months (right before my husband was going to be back) My hubby got home on 2-26-04 and on 4-29-04 my son was born in Italy. We were in Italy together for about a year until he got deployed to Afghanistan. When he had to go there my kids and I came home and waited for him. He got back safely :) in March of 2006 and we have been ttc ever since. Last month (7-13-07) I was two days late on my period so I decided to take a HPT (thinking that I wasnt because I have taken so many in the last year) and it came back with a faint "pregnant" line. I WAS SO EXCITED!!! I couldnt believe it so my sister in law bought me a digital one so I would know for sure. The next day my husband and I woke up at 6 in the morning to take the test....it came back saying"pregnant" we were so excited!!! The doctor had ordered a blood test for me that day so I went into town and took that. The doc called me on monday and said that I needed to go and retest becasue my hcg levels were not high. I did the next morning but in the middle of the night I also started spotting. I was so scared. When the doc called and gave me horrible news. She said that my hcg levels were falling and to expect a miscarriage...later that night I miscarried. I was so upset. That was on the 17th of July...the doc said to wait THREE cycles before ttc but my husband and I dont listen very well and have already started ttc. Well I feel like I have wrote a book...lol...i pretty much have....please comment me if you have ever gone through anything like me or if you just want to say hi....BABYDUST TO EVERYONE..including me :) Hello everyone just wanted to give an update....My AF I think is due around the 13th of this month. I took a HPT last night (a week before my af) and it came up negative. It might have been too early to test...I hope so but I am not feeling pg. I dont know if I would start to have symptoms now or what?? On friday i had slight (very mild) cramps and light brown/light pink spotting? Anyone who has any advice for me I will take it and I will keep you all posted. Thank you all for everything :)

August 9, 2007~~

Well I took another HPT today and i got another BFN...I still have 4 days before testing so it could still come up positive...I am hoping so. I want to be pg so bad...I might take another one on monday the 13th befoer my dr appt on the 14th. I will keep everyone updated...please keep your fingers crossed for me :)

August 13, 2007~~

So today was suppose to be TEST DAY!!! I woke up this morning at 530 because I had to pee so bad (which i never due) and I went and took the test and it came back BFN! :( I dont know if it is all in my head or what but I feel pregnant. I just want this so bad you know. I have a doctors appt tommorow for a follow up after my m/c I had on the 17th of July..so we will see what he says. I hope that the HPT was wrong but I dont know...we will see...I will keep you posted! Baby dust to everyone TTC!

Well I went to the doctor today and he said that everything looks good after my m/c but he didnt say that i was pg...so now i am just sitting around waiting on af to arrive so i can be back to normal after my mc...we had my dh tested about a week ago and the doc said that he would look at those results and if they have to they will injected his semen into me...so i will keep you posted...i am so bummed

August 16, 2007~~

Well I still havent started my af since my last mc which will be a month ago tommorow. I am still feeling pregnant...everyone thinks that I am crazy and maybe I am...maybe I just want it so bad that the symtoms are all in my head...I dont know....I am thinking about taking another HPT tommorow if I dont get af....or maybe I will wait....I dont know I just want something to happen so I am not just sitting here waiting....I either want to know that I am pg or I want af to come so I can start all over....I REALLY JUST WANT TO BE PG!!! anyway I will keep everyone posted...please pray for us.

Still on August 16, 2007~~

So I couldnt take it anymore...I called the doctor becasue last night I was feeling sick but it only lasted a few minutes and the top of my boobs have been hurting....I just have symptoms that I think are pregnancy symptoms....I just have that feeling that I am pregnant...I dont know if I am just thinking too much about it or what but anyway...I called the doctor and asked if he would have been able to tell on the 14th when he checked me if I was pregnant or not and she said that he wouldnt have been because it probably would have been too early :) So that is a shed of light....so she started me on prenatal vitamins since we are ttc (or if I am early pregnancy) and she said to retest in a week and we will see what happens...keep your fingers crossed.

August 17th 2007~~

Just a little update....I took another HPT tonight and it came back BFN again...I thought that it was going to be positive because I thought that I was having symptoms...I am not sure. About an hour ago I started feeling like my af was going to come. I have just felt crampy...I hope it doesnt and I am pg but I dont think this will be the month either. :( We will see though. :) I will keep you posted

August 22, 2007~~

well i took a pg test (i am 17 days past possible conception...or 16days...) and it came out negative. I am usnsure what to think? I have been soooooo emotional lately....very very tired and my bb hurt a little...but still a BFN!!! I had a mc in july (on the 17th) so i really dont know when to expect my af...what should i do???

August 24, 2007~~

So today is 19 days past possible conception and I have been having what I thought were PG symtoms...so at 5am I got up and took a HPT and it was a BFN again. I was a little bummed....I was just thinking..."either give me a BFP or bring on AF"...well someone heard me when i said that because at 615 when i got up for work I was spotting...so here comes AF...oh well Hopefully next month will be my month.

Still the 24th~~

So AF still hasnt came...I thought it was going to this morning but all I did was spot VERY VERY LITTLE...it was pink and then very brown...not sure what to think???? ANy advice? Also I am 19 days past possibel conception...I am not sure when I am ovulating becasue I havent had AF since my mc on July 17th...my bb hurt...my dh and I also BD'd on the 19th..........please give me advice if you have it...I'M CONFUSED NOW!!!

August 27, 2007~~

AF arrived...maybe next month will be my month :) I am not giving up hope though...I will have another baby even if the next one and my youngest now are eight years apart....(my youngest is 3 now)

October 3 2007~~

So on Sunday September 30, 2007 I took a HPT at night and got a very faint positive...so faint it was almost there. I got excited but didnt want to get my hopes up...so the next morning I took one and it look pretty much the same....then that afternoon I spotted a little brown, but only once...so my first thought was "here comes AF" but then nothing else ever happened...so then last night I went and had my blood drawn and I got the results today and..................

I got a BFP!!!!

I am so excited....my HCG levels were only 41.5 for 18 dpo so they are low but I go into the doctor and they are going to put me on progesterone shots until my 14th week.....I AM WAY EXCITED!!!

October 8, 2007~~

So I went in to get my blood drawn on Friday and the lady at the lab said that they didnt have my "order" so this morning I called the doc and they had a stat blood test done for me so I could get the results back today. So I went in about 1030 and got my blood drawn and at 115 got the results back and they had went up from 41 to 278!!! I was so excited!!! She was hoping that they had at least doubled and they have done so much more then that. I have to go in again on Thursday and get another blood test to see if I am still doubling and to get my progestrone shot. PLEASE KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYERS!! I am still nervous that my levels arent going to double but I am doing good so far. YEAH

October 11, 2007~~

Well this morning I went in for my weekly progesterone shot and I also went and had my blood drawn. The doctor just called and my hcg levels have went up from 278 (on Monday) to 838 today....I AM SO EXCITED!!! And she said that I was at the point now that if I wanted an early ultrasound for my own peice of mind that I could have one...so on Monday I get my first ultrasound!!!! YEAH I AM SO HAPPY!!!

October 18, 2007~~

On Monday I went in and had my ultrasound. The lady that did it was horrible. She needs a new profession. She said that I looked like I was more at 5 weeks...which is ok...I know my dates arent off....but I guess we will see. I asked her if I could get a picture and she said "there is nothing to see it is just a sac" so....I called my doctor and talked to the nurse. She was very positive about it all and said that there is a gestatinal sac and that I look good. :) I told her about the mean ultrasound tech and asked if I could get my hcg levels tested again for my own peace of mind and so that night I did and got them back the next day and they had gone up from 838 to 4615 in 4 days....so I am very happy about that. She said that my levels are right on for 6 weeks....so that is good. The today I went in for my weekly progesterone shot and she said that everything looked normal and that sometimes you dont see a fetal pole or yolk sac just yet but that it was good that we saw the gestatinal sac. Then I was talking to one of the girls on here (Nickyjo...again...thank you) and she said that she went to the doc and he told her that you probably wont see more than a gestational sac if your levels are under 5000. So that made me feel tons better :) Also I have another ultrasound the begining of November so please pray that we get to see our little junebug then :)

October 25, 2007~~

Just a little update....went to the odctor today for my progesterone shot and alo had my blood rawn for another HCG level test just to make sure that my levels are still going up and they are. They are up from 4615 on the 15th of october to 25482 today...so I am so excited. I have alo started having a little bit of morning sickness...not bad but every so often I feel kind of blah...but that is fine by me. I also made an appt for my follow up ultraound...I go in on Nov. 5th...so I will keep everyone posted.

hello ladies...well by my calculations I should be 9 weeks and 3 days...but when I went to my ultrasound when I thought i was six weeks and three days they said I looked more like 5 weeks...They said all they could see was the gestational sac...I have another ultrasound here in a few hours and I am so scared and nervous that I wont be able to see my baby. Please everyone pray that I will see my little junebug and that everything will be healthy with this baby!

November 8 2007

Just a little update from my ultrasound....The tech was ten times nicer than the last lady that I saw. My husband, mom, mother in law and kids went to our ultrasound. We hadn't told our kids that I was pregnant yet because of what has happened in the past. But my husband and I decided that if we could see our little baby one the ultrasound screen then that is when we would tell the kids...well she put the thing on my belly and my five year old daughter asked me "mom what are they doing?" and I said "they are looking inside my belly" and about that time the tech said "there it is" and I pointed to it on the screen and told Mikayla and Garrett to look and Mikayla asked me "mom what is that?" and I said "that is your baby brother or sister" and oh my gosh was she excited. It was so cute!!! It made me cry! She then did an internal ultrasound and we got to hear the baby's heartbeat loud and clear at 170bpm. It was amazing! Immediatley following the internal ultrasound I started bleeding and got completley freaked out...I called the doctor and she said that she thinks everything is fine...she said it was probably from the ultrasound wand bumping against my cervix. I did stop spotting about 2 hours later. and havent since. Also the tech told me that I looked more like 8 weeks instead of nine. Today when I went in from my progesterone shot she gave me a sheet with my results from the ultrasound and it gave me a estimated due date of the 18th of june....the nurse said I could be anywhere between 8-10 weeks...which is fine with me. I am just glad I got to see my little junebug and got to hear a heartbeat. I have my first ob appt on the 12 (this coming up monday) so I will keep everyone posted :)

November 12, 2007~~

Today is my first OB appt. I am so excited. I really hope that we are able to hear the heartbeat but I bet that won't be until the next appt. Just so she says that everything is going good. Keep your fingers crossed for me. :) I will keep everyone posted! :)

November 15, 2007~Hello everyone...So I went to my first OB appt on Monday. She said that everything did look good and that from what she sees from my paperwork everything is lining up to me being eight weeks (then...I am nine weeks now) I also got a flu shot...OUCH...those are no fun at all. I asked her since we got to hear the heartbeat at the last ultrasound if that makes the chance of a miscarriage go down and she said that it did but the chance would got down a lot more once we heard it on the doppler at ten weeks...so on the 26th of this month I will go back in and listen to my little junebug's heartbeat. I am so nervous. Please keep your fingers crossed that I get to hear it. I will be 10 weeks and 5 days :) Anyway...I will keep everyone posted!!!

Just a guick little update...I went in for my weekly shot today and got to listen to the baby's heartbeat. At first she said he could hear it but just barely...so she had me bend one of my knees up on the table to move the baby and she put the doppler back on my belly and there it was...A loud strong heartbeat of 172 bpm. I recorded it on my phone so I can listen to it all the time and so Daddy could hear it becasue he wasnt able to come because of work. I am SUPER excited because the doctor said that my chance of a miscarriage goes down now that we heard it on the doppler...YAY!!

Hello everyone...I havent updated in a while so I thought I would fill this in. I went to my second OB appt on Monday. We got to listen to the heartbeat and it was nice and strong at 168bpm. She said that all my lab tests came back good and then at my next appt (on the 7th of Jan. is when they would test for downs and that stuff) Then today I went in for my LAST PROGESTERONE SHOT!!! I am so happy to be done with them. I remember when I first started getting the shots hoping that I would make it this far and I HAVE!!! We also got to listen to the heartbeat and it went down to 150bpm. Everyone keeps telling me that they think this baby will be a girl....but I dont know...I think it is going to keep us guessing since we are not finding out. Anyway...i hope everyone is doing awesome!!! ALMOST SECOND TRIMESTER!!! yeah

January 7 2008~~~ 16 weeks and 5 days today!!! YAY!! I went to my doctors appoitment and everything is looking good he said. The babys heartbeat is 150 bpm. I also scheduled my ultrasound. I AM SO EXCITED!!!! She said that I will come in either the 4 or 5 of feb. She is going to call me and let me know for sure. I am so excited. My husband really wants to find out what we are having but I dont know if i do...I mean I do and I dont...It is so tempting. Anyway jut wanted to updated everyone!!!

January 11; 2008~~~I am so excited. I just got a call from the dr office and my quad screening (the one that checks for downs and everything) came back normal!!!! YAY...and I have been feeling baby kick more today also. Almost like he/she is telling me "i'm okay mom" LOL I AM SO EXCITED

February 12, 2008~~ Today I had my ultrasound and everything looked so good. The baby is measuring 4 days ahead but she is staying with my same due date of the 18th of June. The baby weighs 1 pound 3 ounces and............ < /font>WE ARE SO SO SO SO EXCITED!!! She said that everything looked really good. I am so happy. I had a feeling it was a girl. Justin (my hubby) is also very excited. I cant wait to go shopping now. LOL. PINK PINK AND EVEN MORE PINK!!!!!! YAY. I am going to post ultrasound pictures very soon

March 3 2008~~~I had an appoitment today and she said that everything looked really good. But she wants to see me again in three weeks. I am not sure why my appoitments are every three weeks now but hey I am not complaining...just means I get to hear my little girls heartbeat more. LOL She said that at my next dr. appt I will have the gluclose test done and more blood work to test my iron. The babys heartebeat was 148. I am so excited! At my next appoitment I will be two days away from 28 weeks. I cant believe it. YAY!

March 25, 2008~~ Man do I have some updates since my last appoitment. A few days after my last appoitment I started having braxton hicks contractions. They were about 15 minutes for a couple of hours. I thought they were going away and called the doctor and she said it would be a good idea to go up and get checked anyway...so Justin (my hubby) and I load up the family and head into Casper. By the time we got to the hospital they had stopped though...thank you god....Then the next week my son got extremley sick so I took him into the doctor. The doc said that he had an ear infection and a cold...so he put him on some antibiotics and sent us on our way. Also on Monday (the same day my son was so sick) my sister in law called me and told me her (and my hubbys) uncle had died. My husband decided that him and my son would go to Kansas (where the funeral would be) with his sister and kids and his dad. So Tuesday night I took him into Casper and dropped him off so they could leave early the next morning. Well Wednesday my daughter woke up with the same sickness as my son. She wasnt as bad as he was but I still wanted to get her into the doctor...so my mom came out and picked up Mikayla and took her to the doc and kept her that day. The doctor put her on an antibiotic becasue my son had been so sick and since we were planning on leaving town on Saturday (me and Mikayla were driving to Kansas on Saturday for the funeral) Well Thursday I woke up feeling horrible...tried going to work and knew I couldnt make it...so I came in and went to "Urgent Care" She did an exam and ran a flu test on me and said that I tested positive for Influenza A or Respitory Influenza...but that there wasnt much I could take because it was a virus and I am pregnant. SO from the doctor I went to my moms and slept the rest of the day. Friday I woke up feeling much better (I thought....looking back on it now...I still wasnt feeling great) But I came to work and worked all day Friday and then my daughter and I came into Casper and she went to her first ever slumber party :) and I went and ran around all night LOL. I had a whole bunch of stuff to do because I was going to get up at about 3 am and drive to Kansas with my sister in law and my daughter. I went and did all my running around and by 10 or 1030 I was in bed...packed up and ready to leave in a few hours. I got up and checked the road report becasue it had snowed and it said that there was a black ice advisory for wheatland (which is a couple of hours from here) I decided to go back to bed and get up in an hour. I did and checked the road report and it was still the same but I thought I would be fine...just take it slow. I was walking out ther door and decided to go to the bathroom before I got on the road and that is when I noticed I had started spotting. I went and got my mom and she took me to labor and delivery. They hooked me up to the monitor. She said I had a slight fever, slightly elevated blood pressure...probably becasue of the fever, I was extremley extremley dehydrated and having contractions every seven minutes. The hook up to an IV and gave me a shot to stop the contractions...they fed me two IV bags and sent me on my way. Needless to say I didnt get to go to Kansas. I was so upset...I was really looking forward to going and seeing everyone...but my little girl in my belly had different plans...I think it was just her way of telling me to slow down. I went to my moms and slept for almost two days off and on....and by monday was feeling much better and I am feeling really good now and me and my family are finally over the sickness. I went to the doc yesterday and everything looked good...I had lost two pounds due to the flu. But she said that everything looked good. I had to go and do my 1 hour gluclose test...which wasnt too bad. I just got really tired of sitting there...but hey it is worth it! :) The nurse said they will call me with the results and I go back to the doctor in three weeks...when I will be almost 31 weeks! YAY....anyway thanks for listening!

Monday April 14th, 2008~Hello everyone....so I just wanted to give a quick update. I just got back from the doc and everything is looking good. "Baby Brooklyn's" heartbeat was 145...so slower then it usually is but still doing good. The doc came in and measured my belly and when she was done she felt the baby and said that she is already head down...YAY....she said that I was carrying really low and the baby was down really low. I dont know if that is good or bad...she didnt say and I didnt ask...I figure if it is bad then she would have told me. Little Miss Brooklyn is moving like crazy. Last night when my husband and I went to bed we were watching her roll around. IT WAS AMAZING! Anyway...I start going to the doctor every 2 weeks now...so I will go again on the 28th of this month...so I will update then.

Monday April 28, 2008~~ JUST A QUICK LITTLE UPDATE! I had my 32 week baby doctor appoitment today. It went very good... Brooklynn's heartbeat was 140 bpm. I love hearing her heartbeat, it is truely music to my ears. The doctor came in and measured me and said that I am measuring right on schedule at 32 weeks. She said that she is still head down which is good...and she said that she would guess that she was about 4 pounds. Which is very exciting. I go back in two weeks for my 34 week appoitment and my doctor wont be there....she said that the nurse will do my check up and then I will go back two weeks from then...which is like the 25th of may and I will be 36 weeks and 5 days and that is when she will do my group b culture and check my cervix for dialation. So that means I really only have like 1 (kind of 2) until I am full term.. That makes me excited. Anyway just thought I would give evveryone an update...hope all of you ladies are doing good. We dont have much longer :)

Tuesday May 27th, 2008~~~UPDATE!!! SO I went to the dr today. I am 36 weeks (I will be 37 tommorow) and she did the group b test on me and said I would get the results at my next doctors appt on Monday (june 2) She also checked me to see if I was dialated. She said that I am 1 cm dialated and still "pretty thick"...which kind of bummed me out at first but then she said that since my son was so big when he was born (he was a week overdue and weighed 9 pounds 14 ounces) anyway...since he was so big she said that she would induce me around the 12th of june. I was so excited when she told me this. So I only have a little over two weeks until my baby girl will be here....unless she decides to come early on her own...but I dont see that happening. YAY~~I see a light at the end of the tunnel. I cant believe how close it is. YAY

Tuesday June 3 2008~~So I went to the doctors yesterday and I am measuring right on schedule. She said that she is still guessing that the baby weighs about 6- 6 1/2 pounds. Her heartbeat was 144bpm. She checked my cervix again and I am 2 cm dialated and still "pretty thick" which I really dont know what that means. I wonder if I am thinned out at all or what....I wish she would have gave me a percentage but oh well. She said that I am scheduled to be induced on the 12th of June, so if I dont have her before hand then I know she will be here then. She also said at my next dr appt they would give me all the details about being induced (like the times I need to be there and everything) I asked her How they were going to induce me and she said that since I am already starting to dialate that they wouldnt have to do cervidil just pitocin. She said depending on what my cervix is doing they might just be able to break my water and that will start me up. So I guess we will see. I will keep everyone posted :) 9 more days from today for me :) YAY
