My DH and I have been TTC for the last 3 years, ever since we got married. We've had a lot of ups and downs in our marriage and we're really looking forward to a great 2008. I lost my mom to cancer in 2006, we lost my mother in law to cancer in 2007 and we had 2 ectopics in 2007 and 1 ectopic 2008. The 1st pregnancy, we took 2 rounds of metho in March of 2007 and that was that. It felt like a long road to recovery, it felt like a decade to not have pregnancy symptons. Then in June we found out my pregnancy once again was ectopic. We took more metho shots but they didn't work and I ended up in ER and had my left tube taken out. I let my body rest for the next few months and did an HSG test in late October. My right tube was clear! Then the most recent ectopic was January 2008. BFP on 1/5/08 which then resulted in 1 round of metho and that was that.

Thursday, 4/17/08. Had my 1st infertility appointment yesterday. My husband and I have some blood tests to check on some things. Other than that, Dr.'s not suggesting IVF or anything. I'm looking forward to keeping my body healthy and TTC again!

Monday, 4/28/08. I had my 1st round of blood tests done and have 2 more to do before I see the RE again. I decided to also go to an acupuncture Dr. and WOW is she expensive! I decided to take herbs for now and once finances permit I plan to start accupuncture. The acupuncturist says that my circulation is bad therefore my pregnancies aren't "flowing" to my uterus as they should. She also says that even though I only have 1 tube left, that tube works double time to compensate for not having 2 tubes. That's great news. So far, my RE and acupuncturist Dr. says that we can TTC, we'll see. I'm just so hesitant with all that my body has been through already and the emotional stress I've been through that I'm scarred to be pregnant again. When the Lord wants us to have children we will and I'll be prepared!

Tuesday, 5/13/08. Went in for my CD22 blood tests my RE ordered me to take. I threw in a blood pregnancy test in there as well and it was a BFN!!! So disappointing! My next step is my 2nd appointment with RE once the results from CD22 are in. Anyone had a BFN on CD22 blood pregnancy test and was still preggerz?

Thanks for your continued hope and prayers. I was put on strict bedrest, hence no updates but I am updated and indeed am m/c. Started yesterday...but it was definitely not ectopic..I wish you continued luck..I still have hope for conceiving naturally. thanks again for checking, read my update today for a fuller story. Hang in there and remember God never gives up on us so don't give up on Him or His miraculous powers!!

Oh please never give up on God or His miracles. He can split oceans..don't forget and if He can do that than He can give Life too...I believe it. Keep praying and hanging in there..He never abondons us..well, my news..the little one is still grwoing so I won't give up either.. Here is the lastest. My military (ARMY) doc just called with today's numbers 1400 HCG. So, they have increased 57% which is definitely not doubling BUt they ARE still increasing and this time she(my doc) sounded hopeful. She scheduled me for an ultrasound Feb 6, Now I just have to wait...she, of course, cautioned me to go to the ER with pain..I wish we could do an u/s this week but she wants to wait and i have no choice so the 6th it is. We are not taking anymore HCG levels til then either...so we wait with hope and prayers!:)I caught a cold today so I am making chicken soup.:)

An ectopic is something I fear everytime I get pregnant or even try to and so far it has not happened to me. I have been terribly afraid to try again becasue I might lose another baby. If you can handle ttc even through the fear of an ectopic than you can handle going to the fertility doctor you know the worst case scenario. The dr. might have some other ideas- never give up, especially because of fear. Easy for me to say eh? I send you hugs because I can only imagine how hurt you are feeling right now. Stay close to your man because it sounds like you have been blessed with a great one.
With regards to the puppy shepherds are one of my faves because they are so smart and I love the way they cock their heads and look at you. Carpets ...pee... dogs...hmmm. Can you contain the puppy in an area without carpet till trained. And I definitly reccommend a crate for at night and when you are not home. They are the best and save your home from being destroyed by little teeth. Will be thinking of you and praying please keep me updated.

Hey! thanks for the kind messages! Don't give up. I don't think IVF is the only way to go. It is clear you can get pregnant...we'll just have to keep praying that the little knows where to go next time and there will be a next time...for both of us...write anytime you need anything. My prayers and Hope are with you. I ended up going ahead with my plans and having all the activities. Afterall, what better place to be than in God's house when we need comfort!All will work out it must!:)

So did you bring the puppy home. Ours is a Portuguese Water Dog he is great doesn't shed and is a total clwon. We are having lots of fun with him. All the best.

Congratulations on your new home...and your new puppy! I am sure he is adorable. I am praying for the results of your u/s. Any news yet? I am so sorry you are having to go through this...sorry we all are but I still content that the joy even if it fleeting is so worth the pain..I'd go trough this over an dover for the possibility of the dream of children. Im soo sorry to hear all that. I cant imagine what it would be like to have the struggles you have. You must be a very strong woman! I am blessed to have the one I have now, our daughter. I think sometimes I get caught up so much in wanting another that I lose sight of how lucky I really am. I think that being pregnant and having a baby is such a beautiful thing I want to do it again:-) Your time will come and when it does your be more thankful than most! When things are harder to get we tend to appreciate them a bit more. We tried for about 7 months for our daughter and each month I got AF I was crying and thinking I was being punished, but I think someone was making sure I would appreciate it, you know? We actually did get a puppy first too, a boxer. He was our first child and what an experience that was..LOL We now just recently got another boxer pup....WHAT WAS I THINKING? Bought your first home, eh? I am originally from CA, Thousand Oaks actually. Lived there for 13 years. Loved it~ Texas is great now though cause owning a home is a steal out here. Well it looks like you and I are gonna be side by side with TTC, with my husband being gone so many months out of the year and your struggles, looks like we'll have plenty to talk about :-) ANYTIME, feel free to write!

Congrats on the house..that is AWESOME for only being 26!!..then a puppy to fully understand 'parenting'..than a baby to seal the deal after that. At least you got it all in order...maybe that was the true plan after all?? Keep me posted..I just had my 2nd m/c in a row and trying for a 3rd...I had two kids very easy in my 20's (although one m/c in between) and thought it was a piece of cake...It seems just to be harder for some folks I guess! Here's to positive thoughts! :)

Well they called this morning about the U/S amd said everything looks fine. And I did start spotting yesterday, and then last night it came with full vengence! I did have clotting, is that normal? So Im pretty convienced that Im not pregnant. Sucks! I have an apt. with my primary today to check some other things but see my OB wednesday. I need answers:) How are you doing today? Sounds like you have had many challenges!

Thank You for the info! I have an ultrasound today to see whats going on. Im hoping that maybe its my absence of my period with the exception of the cramping and maybe Im pregnant. Dont know! The dr also said that it could be a cyst on my ovary. But I will have some answers today.YAH! Thanks though!

hi, thanks for your comment, i'm fine and recovering from my ectopic (hcg levels droppping rapidly). Just read your blog, you must be feeling so confused and scared. i also had strange bleeding with my ectopic (seemed like prune juice stained discharge) and i had a stitch like sensation on my right where it was. my hcg level at its highest was 1018. i really hope if anything you have some news soon, and fingers crossed for you its good news. babydust to you x

Thanks for the concern. I SO know what you are going through! I've gained weight through these two rollercoaters I've been on (not much but at 5 ft 2...5-7 lbs is alot!). I m/c'd also last July..and had to have a D&C then also...that time there was a heartbeat but them not after awhile...was spotting the whole time. This time no symptoms at all! But no baby developing either. So, we shall try just one more time..my hubby is desperate to be a dad! Hopefully 3rd time will be the charm!! Keep me posted on how you are doing...
