Hi, My name is Janell and I live in Pittsburgh, PA. I am 34 years old and right now 7 months pregnant. I have a son who will be 9 in July, he is from my previous marriage... he is the most wonderful, sweet and caring child in the world!!! I feel so lucky to be his mother. My fiance's name is Mandell, we have been together for 5 years, lived together for 3 and he is truly my soul mate and the love of my life! I am white and he is black, and we have experienced a lot of unkind words from others, but that has only made us stronger. We both have a very strong family foundation, and both sets of parents think the world of each of us and are so supportive in what we are doing. This is my fiance's first child and he is so excited.

I am an account manager for a Medical Education and Performance Improvement Technology and love my job. I am hoping to work up until I have the baby, but recent pains have made me think this may not be possible. My fiance is in a national R&B group but luckily is able to live in our hometown and just leave when he goes on tour or has to do live appearances.

We all are so excited about the arrival of the baby and my son can not wait until the day his little brother arrives. I feel like I am pregnant for the first time all over again and am getting very scared about the whole labor and delivery.

March 10th

OK, so I am really discouraged today because I weighed myself and I now have gained a total of 50 pounds and I still have 11 weeks to go!!!! I have no idea what is going on with me because I do not eat alot, eat healthy and go to the gym at least 3 days a week. It seems that I am big everywhere and my arms, legs and butt is so big now. I am 5'7 and started off my pregnancy at a fit 135, so this is really really hard for me to adjust to. I know that I am pregnant and having a baby and that it is all worth it, but I hate looking at myself in the mirror because I am so pale and huge!!!! It is just a hard adjustment to look at myself after always having toned arms and legs. I am really hoping that a lot of it is water weight and will go away after I have the baby. I look at the pictures that I just added to my page that were taken this past Saturday and I can't believe I look so bad. I know that this may seem so vain, but this is just such a hard thing to accept!
