Hello everyone :)

My name is Janis. My boyfriend David and I are expecting our first child on 08-02-08! Im about 10 weeks and 1 day and loving every minute of pregnancy so far! lol Luckily haven't experienced no morning sickness or nausea at all! Just feeling very tired, breast tenderness, & fat!!!! Other than that, im good! Been going on this website for a couple of weeks and finally decided to join yesterday! Good luck to all the mommies & mommies-to-be! :)

I had an appt. yesterday and I finally got to hear a heartbeat! The nurse said my doodle had a strong heartbeat! Between 140-150! :) I took awhile for her to find it because the baby was moving around so much! lol My next appt. is on Feb. 28 and i finally get to find out what im having! Im sooooo excited! I cant wait! Crossing my fingers for a healthy baby boy!

I had a appt. with my doc yesterday. She said im finally starting to look pregnant!!! She said I didnt look pregnant a month ago. Anyway, I have to see her every two weeks now. I have until May 10th to do my GTT test....(dont want to do it, i heard it taste nasty) lol! I have a ultrasound next wednesday at the main hospital. I cant wait to see my little doodle! :) A few more days and i'll be in my 3rd semester! :) Wow.....time is going by soooo fast!!!!

David Jr. is here! @ 9am. 5 lbs. 6 1/2 oz. 17 in. He came out about 4 weeks early due to my blood pressure! He's perfect! I loooooove him soooooo very much! :)

Hey- I actually called my DR about this on Monday, he made me come in to check my BP and urine and he said I was fine, just to relax.

It's just annoying because today I didn't do hardly anything.. later in the afternoon I went to the mall (one store!) and then hung out at the in-laws. Then I made cookies and by that time I couldn't even stand anymore. I didn't eat a lot today but I did have some chips that were probably too salty. I'm on my butt now and we'll see how long it takes for them to stop hurting. I'm sure it's normal but it's annoying I can't do any walking

OH gosh...I can only pray that it's only 2 weeks after the baby shower. I can't imagine this little boy getting any bigger. I think a week after I'm going to start jogging and doing everything to induce labor, just joking.

my baby shower with my family is scheduled june 15th! thats also fathers day. we are doin a coed one so everyone can come we are looking at about 75+ people to attend. we rented a local club to have it in. sounds kinda weird to have a baby shower at a club. but we are goin to serve beer and liquor so we figured why not. we are not tradional by no means! my family are big drinkers! haha! ill prolly be the only sober one! me and my gma! i moved out of my parents as soon as i graduted high school. they were so dysfunctional! you will have alot of help though! how long you taking off work? im planning eight weeks off and planning on working up until im due! cant wait! my mom says ill never make it! my job is going to pay for 4wks and i got enough in savings to take off 4 more with no problem. my bf on the other hand will prolly only get like 2 or 3 days off when i go into delivery. im so scared to be left by myself after i get home from the hospital. i dont know why.

I've had my test and the drink I had wasn't bad. I had to go back and do the 3 hour fast/lab for it because the 1st time my number was too high so I'm waiting on results from that. I don't know how it is where you are but the offices here have 2 different kinds of drink. One that is suppose to be like regular cola and it's nasty! The other is orange flavored. It's actually ok. It tasted like an orange soda. Request that and see if they have it...it's not bad.
